Another thriller from Lynette Eason. Fans of her, will not be disappointed. I enjoyed reading about this friend group, with it's strong female leads and equally strong male counter points. The romance was so sweet and clean. This was probably my favourite part. the mystery was full of twists and turns, keeping the reader on their toes. I found the storyline a little bit predictable but this may just be because i have read so many books by this author.

Exciting and funny!

Another great read by this author! It doesn't disappoint.Below is a quote that I liked.

'“Ready for a prayer?” “Yes. Always.” One by one, they each said a short but heartfelt prayer for Kenzie and Cole, and Kristine finished with, “Lord, you’re in the business of doing amazing work, and the fact that you brought Kenzie and Cole together proves you’re still in the miracle business as well.”Everyone chuckled. “Seriously, we pray for this day when they pledge their love before you and friends and family. May they always keep their eyes on you, depending on you to lead them wherever you would have them be. And to always put the other before themselves. Hold them tight, and thank you for letting us be a part of their lives and this very special day. Amen.”'

When referencing the Bible, the NIV version of the Bible is used.

The word "screw up" is used once.

The term "what in blazes" is used once.

Twice, people say that they swear that no one else is involved in something, or that something would not happen.

When a good guy is under fire by a bad guy and has to return fire in the rain, he says “Stupid rain is messing up my aim.”

Triggers

Some mentions of someone having had been in trouble with different stuff, like drugs, gambling and alcohol.

(Triggers for major family betrayal.)
                       ..........
Violence

A mention that blood spurted from a forearm cut.

Some mentions of threats from a bad guy to hurt someone with a knife.

A person recounts a murder, and that someone's brains were scattered on the wall.
(Not as bad as it could be, but still a bit gruesome.)

A short mention of blood pouring from a wound in a man's back.

Another excellent read, and a epic finale to the series!

I received a complimentary e-book from the publisher to review through Netgalley as part of the author's launch team, and was not required to write a positive review. The thoughts above are my own.

Final Approach is a fitting end – the whole Lake City Heroes has been excellent and this is no different.

This story starts with a hijacking and keeps going with the high stakes action until the very end. Air Marshall Kristine Duncan isn’t even on duty but must act to calm the situation. She’s helped by FBI Special Agent Andrew Ross. Once the plane is down safely, the danger doesn’t stop and the two must work together to uncover the bad actor threatening this Kristine loves.

As ever, the action is tightly written and the plot full of unpredictable twists. I liked that we saw the familiar faces from previous stories. However, this story also stands alone and will make sense if you haven’t read them. As this is romantic suspense, a relationship grows between Andrew and Kristine, but will they overcome everything they’re facing in order to be together? You’ll have to read the book to find out! But if you do love romantic suspense, this whole series is highly recommended.

I received a copy of Lake City Heroes from the author via NetGalley. The obvious enjoyment is all my own.

Final Approach is an exciting read that kept me turning the pages! I was really surprised by the ending and enjoyed the twists and turns. I would have liked to see Kristine and Andrew’s relationship developed a little bit more, but overall I enjoyed this book!

Fabulous!! Perfect pitch suspense and romance! You don't want to miss this one, it's the perfect ending to a great series. It can totally be read as a standalone, but I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend the whole series. I loved Final Approach and enjoyed seeing all the friends from earlier books in this series again, as well as the twists, turns, and a sweet got-your back romance.

Air Marshal Kristine Duncan and her friends are on their way to vacation in Key West when a hijacker attempts to gain control of the plane. FBI Special Agent Andrew Ross is on the trip too and he and Kristine hope to get to know each other better. They land safely but their investigation continues to get more perplexing. I loved this compelling, many-layered, non-stop action story! The author "brings her popular Lake City Heroes series to a shocking and satisfying close."

Thank you to the author, publisher, publisher, and Net Galley for allowing me to read an early copy. All opinions are my own.

Final Approach is another fast-paced, suspense-filled, mystery by Lynette Eason. This is Kristine’s and Andrew’s story with so many twists and turns: a plane hijacking, murder, revenge, and some romance. It was a definite page-turner with a lot of adrenaline running throughout the story. I loved reconnecting with the characters from the first three books in the series. I highly recommend the entire series although they can be read as standalone books.

Final Approach, by Lynette Eason, opens with Air Marshal Kristine Duncan on her way to a much-needed vacation, with several close friends, including FBI Special Agent Andrew Ross. Unfortunately, she must jump into action when a hijacker shows up on her plane and causes havoc!

After the plane safely lands, Kristine learns more details about the hijacker, Marcus Brown. The father of three, he is a man you would never suspect.
However, when Marcus suddenly winds up dead, you know this tale just became much deeper!

As Andrew and Christine dig into the details regarding Marcus’s death and so many other things, you will be surprised to find who is behind all. It is also interesting to watch, as both Andrew and Christine struggle to determine if they are just working a case together or if they truly want to move their relationship to a new level!

Wow! This book was fast-paced, crazy (in a good way!), and suspenseful!!! Kristine and Andrew's story will keep you guessing! And I think you'll like the ending. :)
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the advance e-copy of this book! All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

There is a reason why Lynette Eason is the queen of Christian fiction! She keeps giving her fans one good book after another. Final Approach is the fourth book in the Lake City Heroes series. I have read all four and while it's nice to know the characters and their back stories, each book can stand alone.

Final Approach centers around Air Marshal Kristine Duncan, who is flying with her friends for a vacation, when the plane is hijacked. As she has had some flying lessons, Kristine manages to land the plane and save everyone including the hijacker! But when investigators talk to the hijacker, facts emerge that make no sense. Who hired him and who was the target? Kristine is helped by FBI Agent Andrew Ross. As Kristine and Andrew explore their feelings for each other, they must outrun the danger that seems to follow them relentlessly.

I was on the edge of my seat and read Final Approach in two days. I had to find out who was the intended target and why. I was not disappointed! I would encourage any fans of Lynette Eason, Elizabeth Goddard, or Dani Pettrey to read this book!

A clever romantic suspense. Many surprises along the way to the happily ever after conclusion. Good friends and family issues. Good addition to the exciting series. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy. My review is voluntary.

Riveting, heart racing suspense from beginning to end! Lynette Eason knows how to weave together the perfect mix of danger, suspense, and romance to keep me on the edge of my seat. My expectations were very high for this book as I have loved this series and it absolutely blew me away with many twists I never saw coming.

This book focuses on the stories of Kristine and Andrew. Both had baggage from their pasts, family drama, and feelings of guilt they needed to overcome. I loved getting to know this last set of this amazing friend group. Their stories completely drew me in feeling all the emotions and took turns that made my jaw drop.

I absolutely loved this book! If you have not read the series, do yourself a favor and read them all. They are filled with excellent suspense and leave you wanting to be included in the friend group that is more like family.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book by the publisher through NetGalley. All opinions expressed are completely my own.

Final Approach kept me on the edge of my seat and fully engrossed with many twists and complex situations. I loved Kristina and Andrew, each with their own issues to deal with, as they searched for answers in the on-going situations and also tried to sort out their feelings for each other. I was definitely kept guessing and hated to put the book down! I’ve liked all of the characters in this series and enjoyed getting reacquainted with them in this book.

Excellent suspense, sweet love story, nice friend group we got to know through the series, Christian but not preachy.
Unfortunately, the two "twists" were not as surprising as I would have suspected, at the middle of the novel I had it figured out. Eason's characters are always strong ad powerful but also vulnerable.

Final Approach by Lynette Eason is the fourth book in the Lake City Heroes series, and can be read as a stand-alone novel. Air Marshal Kristine Duncan thinks her flight to her vacation destination should be mundane. When a hijacker decides to take over the plane, Kate transitions from passenger to air marshal and enlists the help of a friend, FBI Special Agent Andrew Ross, to discover the hijacker's motives. As the investigation continues, the identity of the hijacker's boss is revealed, and Eason gives small clues along the way to lead the reader to this conclusion. Eason masterfully blends romance with suspense in this page-turner novel filled with rich characters.

What a ride! So many twists and turns, red herrings and misdirections, my head was spinning for most of the book.

I really liked Kristine and Andrew as characters. And I’ve realized that I enjoy reading adult characters so much more than teen characters because of how they handle life and relationships. I admired Kristine for how she handled her family drama and Andrew for how he dealt with the situation with his extended family. Then there was their own relationship. I just like reading about adults who don’t create drama for themselves.

The puzzle was definitely puzzling. Something was bugging me the whole time but I can’t say I figured it out or even really suspected what was going on until it was revealed. I can’t even imagine. It was wild!

(Also, I was slightly concerned this might make my fear of flying worse but I don’t think it did, thanks to the very specific circumstances! So I got to just enjoy a great book!

As always fast paced and lots of action!
Loved every minute of this book. I couldn't put it down because of the many twists and turns.
Eason always does a fantastic job in bringing her characters to life. The description of the places she mentions makes me feel like I'm there.
This is the final installment in this series and I'm sad. I've enjoyed

I received an advance copy of the book in exchange for an honest review
Kristine and Andrew are heading on vacation with their friends to Key West as a chance to unwind, but secretly both Kristine and Andrew are both hoping for a chance to get to know each other better. When the flight turns into a working flight after someone tries to hijack the plane, they save everyone on board only to diverted back to Lake City. After interrogating the hijacker, they realize there is far more to the act then meets the eye. When the attack leads them to reaching out to an old friend of Andrew's they quickly learn that just because the case seems to be cut and dry, doesn't mean there isn't more to it than meets the eye. Both Kristine and Andrew will need to unveil their past in order to find peace in the present.
This was the last one in the series, and I actually received my advance copy at the perfect time because I'd just read the first three books in the series. I do wish they'd continued on still, since every book involves law enforcement and they end up working together in every book, although they were more connected in this one than the others, it wouldn't have been a problem to keep following them on other cases. Overall though, I would recommend this series to anyone

Lynette is the master of romantic suspense and this book is an exceptional end to her latest series.

Start with an attempted hijacking of a plane and pile on the action from there, you still won’t keep up with this book. Strap in for the ride of your life as tension mounts, bullets fly, and there’s a secret around each corner.

I love the way the personal lives of the characters with their struggles, triumphs, and faith seamlessly weave themselves through the story. Somehow Lynette always seems to surprise me and this book has quite the twist at the end.

The characters are so well developed I could see myself being friends with them, sharing life, and just hanging out. It takes talent to write in a way that pulls you into the story like this and I loved it.

I was given a copy courtesy of Revell through NetGalley and Interviews and Reviews. This is my honest opinion of the book.
