I liked this book, but I couldn't say I loved it. I struggled with the ending. I felt it was just too abrupt. It was a bit far-fetched in places, and I also did not connect with the characters.

Who Did I Marry? by Sara Puccini is a psychological thriller that starts off on a promising note with its intriguing premise and eye catching cover.
While I appreciated the author's attempt to craft a suspenseful narrative, I unfortunately found it hard to fully connect with the book.
Some of the storylines felt a bit disjointed, which made it challenging for me to become fully invested in the characters and their journeys.
Despite this, the book remained an easy and quick read, making it a decent choice for fans of the genre.
Thank you to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book.

New Review - Who Did I Marry? by Sara Pucci

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

"The people closest to us hurt us the most." Who Did I Marry? is a psychological thriller based in New York. It centres around the Johnson family. Charlie is celebrating her 14th birthday at the family home when a dead body is discovered at the front of the house. Charlie's dad Tyler denies knowing anything about it. Her mum will do anything to protect her.

The book is fast-paced and has good twists and turns. The only reason I've marked it down slightly is because I personally struggled to like any of the characters, and the story felt slightly disjointed in places. I would say it's worth a read, especially if you enjoy a well thought through psychological thriller.

Thanks to @netgalley and @stormbooks_co for letting me read.

Such a great mystery read. It reminds me of a lifetime movie network movie, in the best way. I rave about this book to all of my older friends. Who love a good mystery with marriage at the forefront.

I really enjoyed this one. I flew through the pages and it kept me entertained until the end. I loved that it was told in multiple POV getting different perspectives from each character.

This book just didn’t do it for me. I felt all the characters were not likable, and at times I found it to be confusing with the rotating POV’s.

Let's just say...that this had great potential but fell short on the delivery. It was decent but was lacking in what I would call true suspense as I was able to catch the twist long before it occurred. Also the POV from multiple perspectives got to be a bit confusing at times, a couple of the "side stories" could have been left out and it probably would have been just fine.

On the plus said, there was a lot of drama, like everyone has a toxic trait that adds to the story line. Yet at times it was a little overdone or dragged out to long. The premise for the book is good, just needs some overall cleaning before final release.

I had high hopes when I started this book, and it did not disappoint. This book had me in it's grip and I was questioning everything & everyone. I'm not lying when I say I had to sit and stare at my screen for a good while after I finished reading the book. Every PoV had me questioning everything, and every character seemed either guilty or a red herring. I truly felt like I couldn't trust any of the characters, even the Detective, and that was a plus-point for me. In a book with a Whodunnit theme, everyone is a suspect and "Who Did I Marry?" plays into that trope beautifully.

Everyone of them had secrets, and I was gasping and clutching at my invisible string of pearls at each twist and turn in the story. And the epilogue? I need a sequel just to know what happens next.

With the twists available in this book, I'm surprised I don't have whiplash.
I was given the chance to read this book early and I am so grateful. This has been added to the top 10 books I've read so far of 2025.
If you are a fan of twists you must read this.
I thought I had the plot by the middle of the book but how I was so wrong.
I've already started looking for more books by Sara Pucci.

3.4/5 ⭐️ Stars - Thank you to NetGalley & the publishers for the ALC of ‘Who Did I Marry’ by Sara Pucci! I was really excited to listen to this one, and while it's an impressive debut, I found myself wanting just a bit more. The story is told from multiple POV, following a murder and weaving through different timelines as you try to piece together who ultimately killed Daniel. There are a few twists along the way and a cliffhanger ending, but I felt the book could have offered more depth—especially around the domestic abuse storyline, the murder itself, the cover-up, and the fates of some of the supporting characters.

It left me with some unanswered questions and a feeling of wanting a bit more resolution. Still, it’s a solid psychological thriller and a strong debut. I’ll definitely be interested to see what Sara Pucci writes next!

This book was a decent read. There is definite room for improvement. The multiple POV was an interesting concept, but it tended to be confusing at times. The twists were expected but a few I did not see coming. So much drama! Everyone has issues in this book. I understand the need for secrets and for things to be revealed in their own time but at certain times I felt like it dragged on just a tad long. Yes, I want to be pulled in, but I also do not want to be frustrated by it.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for a copy in exchange for a review.

This was such a good, quick read. Pucci takes readers on a journey of emotional gaslighting and shocking revelations. The book reads like true crime meets personal memoir. It is perfect for fans of domestic thrillers who enjoy character-driven tension.

This book is twisty, turny, and so engaging. Literally read it one sitting. I love the multiple perspectives and, oh boy, the ending!!! So good and unexpected.

This thriller pulls you in quickly with its tense, emotional setup and an undercurrent of suspicion that keeps you on edge. The story does a good job exploring how little we sometimes know about the people closest to us, and there are moments that genuinely surprise. The pacing is fast, making it easy to fly through in one or two sittings.

That said, some of the plot twists feel a bit too convenient, and the emotional depth of the characters could have been explored more fully. A few situations resolve a little too neatly, taking away from the tension built earlier on.

Overall, it’s an engaging and suspenseful read, just not quite as layered or unpredictable as it could’ve been. A solid 3.5 stars good for a quick, twisty escape, even if it doesn’t totally shock.

I do live hooks thst make me severely dislike characters that actually dont exist! Like why an i getting so frustrated when these people dont exist but thats how invested i was. Really well written, characters that arent the most endearing but they are bright to life with their awful personalities lol. Some good twists, the writing was easily to get lost in. Really enjoyable

There were twists and turns everywhere. I caught myself trying to figure out who was who in the beginning, but the author did a good job of making sure you stayed on track. This was told from multiple prospectives and I really enjoyed it. It had me guessing until the end. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.

Who Did I Marry? is a gripping psychological thriller that weaves suspense, deception, and emotional complexity into every chapter. From the first page, the story draws you into a tangled web of secrets and unanswered questions, where nothing and no one is quite what they seem.
The plot is full of twists and turns that keep you guessing at every step. Just when you think you've figured it out, the narrative pivots again, pulling you deeper into the mystery. The real payoff comes in the final chapters, where everything finally clicks into place in a surprising way.
One of the book's greatest strengths is its use of multiple perspectives. Seeing the story unfold through different characters' eyes adds depth and tension, gradually revealing how little each person truly knows about their spouse. In the end, the haunting truth is clear: nobody really knew who they married.
Who Did I Marry? is a clever, fast-paced read that will leave you thinking long after the last page. Highly recommended for fans of domestic thrillers and layered mysteries.

I loved this book! Fantastically written with a great plot which keeps you guessing throughout. A well off family, a children’s birthday party and a dead body outside the front door. Great character development and a fast paced read.

This had all the ingredients to be a great book. It had a murder on the night of her daughter's birthday. There was a level of trying to be suspenseful but it just fell flat for me. I did enjoy the multiple pov that the author gave us, and enjoyed the journal entries from Charlie. It seemed to just drag on and I had difficulty finishing it.
The events that happened just seemed so out there and felt very scattered.
Thank you to Netgalley, publishers and Sara Pucci for letting me receive an arc copy for my honest review.
