An autumn, (pumpkin) farm romance where she is called Willow and her dog Maple? Count me in 🥹🍁🍂🍄‍🟫🎃

“Dylan was the enemy, i hated him. Didn’t i?”

It was the perfect combination of cozy and a bit spice.

Willow Connor has one shot to save her family’s farm – turning it into Birchbrook’s first ever pumpkin patch. There’s just one problem: she has exactly zero pumpkins and only six weeks to make it happen. Everyone in the close-knit town thinks she’s crazy, but she’s determined to prove them wrong.

“This was bad with a capital B”

Enter Dylan Henderson, a hotshot property consultant with a clipboard full of reasons why selling is the smarter choice. Determined to stand her ground, Willow makes him a bold offer – stay and watch her turn the farm around. To her surprise, he agrees.

“Mr. Suit man”

Now, as Willow throws everything into making her pumpkin patch a success (even if it means buying every pumpkin in the county), she also finds herself learning a thing or two from Dylan – about business, about ambition... and maybe about love?

“Dylan made me feel alive. And i craved more of it.”

Will she save the farm and prove everyone wrong? And when the deal is up, will Dylan walk away – or has he found something worth sticking around for?

“I liked being around him. We made a good team”

Thank you for the arc NetGalley and Victoria! 🧡

ARC Review - Love and Lattes at Pumpkin Hollow

Thank you to Victoria Walters and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC and give my opinion!

It was a cute story.- very Hallmark-eque. It was cute, but a little predictable and been-done-before.

If you like the following, you’ll like this book:
-Gilmore Girls vibes
-Smalltown
-Enemies-to-lovers
-Smalltown girl and city boy
-Autumn festival

I enjoyed this sweet and spicy autumn story that gave me Gilmore Girls vibes. Willow is a dreamer that just discovered that she has 6 weeks to save the family farm from development by Dylan Henderson’s brother’s development company. She latches on to the idea of a Fall Pumpkin patch, but her farm doesn’t grow pumpkins. Willow is not good at asking for help but to save her farm she has to and fast. The most unexpected help comes from Dylan, who agrees to spend 6 weeks on the farm. Is his help legitimate or is he trying to sabotage the plan. The small town setting and its residents added to the feeling of warmth and community. Willow was a character that evolved during the story and watching her take responsibility and learn to ask for help was a key part of the story. Dylan also went through major changes over the course of the story. At its heart this is a story about figuring out your dreams and finding a way to live them. I recommend this book to readers that enjoy small town, enemies to lovers stories with autumn settings.

Hear me out... I wanted to love this book but I sort of felt like life was missing out of it.

It does have the pumpkin season vibes so I will give it props for that.

Now, the FMC and MMC, idk, I don't think they mashed well together. Idk if it was him or her or both lol but I felt like there could've been more.

This isn't to say I didn't like what I read, I just wish there was more stuffing lol

If you’re someone who lives for autumn vibes (pumpkin spice, crunchy leaves, and cozy small town farm settings) Love and Lattes at Pumpkin Hollow is the perfect read. The atmosphere is definitely the star here. I could smell the cinnamon and pumpkins while reading, and more than once did I feel the need to bake some cinnamon rolls.
The story itself is light and easy to follow, which makes it a nice comfort read. That said, the writing felt a bit repetitive at times, and I think it could’ve used a bit more editing to smooth things out.

If you're in the mood for something sweet and seasonal, and you're not too fussed about depth, this book delivers a warm, pumpkin-scented hug in book form.

Cozy? Yes. Spicy? Yes. Romance? Yes!

Willow wants to save her family farm, the farm she grew up on and works on. But her father lost a lot of his motivation after the loss of her mother and can no longer do as much physical labor. An offer comes in to sell the farm, but Willow gets her father to agree to let her try to save the farm with a pumpkin patch, although they do not grow pumpkins. All this is to be witnessed by Dylan Henderson, the man who made the offer on their farm. But Willow and Dylan start to grow closer, and she can no longer tell if he wants her to fail or to succeed.

This felt like a British Hallmark movie in book form with sex. There were cute things about it, but there was a bit of a lack of substance. The grief felt stunted. It was overall cute, but nothing that I would jump up and down to recommend.

Thank you to Net Galley and Boldwood Books for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

Another uplifting, easy read from Victoria Walters which definitely gives Gilmore Girls vibes! We meet Willow, a strong minded independent woman who doesn’t want to have to sell her family farm, even though her Dad feels this is for the best. Enter Dylan, he gives Willow’s Dad an excellent offer for the farm with him tempted to accept. Willow then comes up with a money making idea - having Birchbrook’s first ever pumpkin farm! Dylan agrees to stay for 6 weeks and feelings begin to appear for both. Opposites attract, misunderstandings and likeable character. I’d recommend this to get you into the autumn spirit!

Love and Lattes at Pumpkin Hollow is a story for those of you who love small-town romances, autumn vibes, delicious coffee, and predictable HEAs 🧡

This book is for those of you who love:
🍂 Autumn
🍂 Small-town romance
🍂 Grumpy x Grumpy
🍂 Cute dogs
🍂 Lots of supporting characters
🍂 Hallmark vibes
🍂 Forced proximity
🍂 Cosy reads
🍂 HEA

If you mix a Hallmark movie with a few Gilmore Girls references and lots of autumn elements, you get Love and Lattes at Pumpkin Hollow. I had certain expectations based on other people's reviews of the book, but unfortunately they were not entirly met. I felt there was a lack of chemistry between Willow and Dylan, the dialogue was a bit cringe, and the (few) spicy scenes were a bit awkward. That said, it wasn't a bad book at all, I just expected a little more drama, intrigue, and romance. Here you get a sweet story that is completely predictable with a HEA, and if you're into that, then I would definitely recommend it 🫶🏼

Bonus:
Small, beautifully illustrated pumpkins at the beginning of each chapter 🧡

Thank you to Vicky, Boldwood Books, and NetGalley for the copy of this eARC ✨ Opinions expressed in this review are completely honest and my own.

I love autumn so as soon as I saw this I was in!
A romance in a small town, full of town folk that know everything about everyone or do they?
A story not only of love but of learning to ask for help when you need it and trusting people.
Told in the first person, Willow we get to see Dylan also grow strong and finding his own way rather than trying to please his family.
1st in the series and I cannot wait to read more, maybe Willows dad or Paul the two Pat’s son, I’d also like to see more about Dylan’s brother.

This had me gripped from page one and loved every minute of it. I have never read an romance which had me crying for the last 15% when all the things happened. The main characters had so much chemistry which bubbled along in the background until it all clicked and they realised that they were each others END GAME. I need the next book NOW!!!! No pressure

Enemies to lovers in a small town yes please!!

Willow has lived on Birch Tree Farm her whole life. Due to some financial situations, she may have to sell her farm, but she will not go down without a fight. She knows exactly who wants to buy the farm and it just happens , she meets him business suit and all, at the local cafe but when he ask for directions to Birch Tree Farm she sends him in the wrong direction.

Enter Dylan Henderson, a business man who wants to prove to his big brother he can convince Willow to sale the farm , but she refuses to sell the farm to him. Determined to save her family farm she comes up with the idea to have a pumpkin patch, the only issue is she has no money and no pumpkins. Dylan tells her that can’t happen without the supplies and tells her to sale the farm. Willow being the stubborn girl is she challenges him to a 6week bet. Stay and help her orchestrate the pumpkin patch. He agrees to help her but he’s convinced even with his help she will still sale the farm to him.

When she tells the town about her plan it seems like no one is supporting her. Throughout the 6 weeks things are going pretty good with the pumpkin patch idea. Until one night things get heated between Willow and Dylan and the next morning she over hears a conversation he was having with his brother.

Willow is totally devastated to find out he was using her so she would end up selling the farm. They get into an argument and while bickering with each other her Dad calls out to her and tells her the patch got ruined in the rain. She tells Dylan to get lost and the bet was over and she would never sale the farm to him or his family.

Willow meets up with her best friend Sabrina at the local cafe and tells her everything. The local cafe owners and Sabrina offer to help Willow fix the patch before opening day but the have less than 72 hours can they get it done ? Despite Dylan leaving Willow is getting text and emails from people saying Dylan has contacted them and they want to take pictures/videos of the patch so they can share it with their viewers.

Can Willow and her friends restore the patch before it’s too late and will Dylan return to help them? You can find out by reading the book “Love and Lattes at Pumpkin Hollow” by Victoria Walter’s

I liked this book the two main characters had so much chemistry between each other. I loved the side characters and of course I can’t forget about Maple the cute pooch!

Thank you NetGalley and publishers for a e-arc in exchange for my honest review.

Summer is officially over for me because that gave me all the cosy autumnal feels I have been craving!
This was the perfect read to start on a rainy August morning, it was very Hallmark vibes which I absolutely adore and I really enjoyed the premise of creating a pumpkin patch on a small-town farm - perfection! Dylan and Willow were a really sweet couple to follow, I loved their chemistry and their stories that brought one another together. I'm so excited about this being a series, I can't wait for what's to come!

Love and Lattes at Pumpkin Hollow is the perfect cozy fall read with just the right amount of spice. It read like a Hallmark movie, which I am perfectly fine with, and would actually love to see this movie on the Hallmark channel! There were some moments that were a bit cheesy, but that kind of works in a fall romance novel. Overall, I thought this book was an easy read and the perfect book to kick off my fall reading.

Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read an early copy in exchange for my honest review.

Intro/synopsis:
“Love and Lattes at Pumpkin Hollow” by Victoria Walters was a fun fall romance about Willow’s attempt to save her family farm while fighting off Dylan’s attempt to buy it for his families development company. They challenge each other to six weeks of forced proximity to convince each other that their plan is better and also to use Dylan as free labour. Will Dylan manage to convince Willow to sell or will Willow’s love for the farm run of on Dylan and lead to something more?

My thoughts:
I loved the premise of the books and my love of all things fall was satisfied with this book. I liked Willow as an FMC and found her love of the farm as well as her relationships with her friends to be endearing. Furthermore, I found myself liking Dylan more and more even though he messed up big time by not running away and making amends. In terms of the plot, I found that the excuse to have Dylan stay a bit strange even though they acknowledged this in the story and I found the dialogue as well as the writing style to be a bit stunted at times. I didn’t love the flow of the writing.

I love a cozy romance where the heroine takes on an impossible task because it is sure to be bursting with difficult and at times humorous challenges. In this lovely story, we meet Willow, who loves living and working on her family farm. The problem is that the farm has faced several challenges in the past few years, which have made it hard to make ends meet. Willow's father is also getting older and is struggling to keep up with the farm work. Willow's father has been approached by a developer who wants to buy their farm to build houses on it. The developer has sent Dylan to negotiate a deal. It's a tale as old as time, or as old as Hallmark has been making Hallmark-y movies. This book doesn't break that stereotypical "save the farm" plot line, but it was still an enjoyable read. The setting is utterly charming, and coziness just leaps from the pages. I kind of wished it was 40-plus degrees outside because I would love to get comfy in a sweater while reading this book.

This is a light and fluffy read. Yes, the stakes around saving the farm are high, but there isn't much conflict. Willow and Dylan didn't have those sparky interactions that often come from two people who have very different goals. Dylan is a nice guy, and right from the beginning and jumps on board to help Willow save the farm by starting a pumpkin patch. I didn't quite buy him jumping on board so quickly. It just felt wrong and didn't jive with the overall plotline. I was hoping for a bit more conflict and sharp banter. I missed getting to see that progression of two people who dislike each other, start to feel some feelings, and then find themselves madly in love with one another. Their chemistry was just a little flat. I truly was hoping for more.

If you love those cozy, easy breezy feels that Hallmark movies give off, then you might enjoy this story.

Firstly, how freaking cute is the cover! I really liked the Gilmore Girls references and this definitely gave me Dragonfly Inn vibes.
This is a Hallmark-esque storyline with your standard easy reading boy and girl on opposite sides, girl wants to save home farm, boy wants to prove himself, misunderstandings galore and a cute town to boot kind of storyline. Perfect for something to cosy up with for a few hours.
One thing, really minor, but it just bugged me every time it was mentioned (which felt like a lot) why write Barbour jacket each and every time Willow or Dylans outerwear was mentioned. Just say she put it in her jacket pocket, I will still get the idea!
If you enjoy autumn seasonal drinks and cakes then you may well fancy one several times reading this!
It's a lovely quick read full of heart, no angst and a happy ending, perfect for a pick-me-up.

Ushering in Autumn vibes and pumpkin spice lattes with a new book….

Even the city boy Dylan agrees that Birchwood can change you. “I am turning into an autumn lover.” With a crackling fireplace, pumpkin patch farm, whip cream sm’ex and forced proximity you’ll soon love Birchwood too. This is an opposites attract romance as the lead character is desperately trying to save her family’s pumpkin patch farm.

Love and Lattes at Pumpkin Hollow (Birch Tree Farm Book 1) by Victoria Walters is a cozy small town romance and the beginning of a new series. It was an enjoyable read with just enough spice in the latte that a hallmark movie would omit.

If you are a fan of The Pumpkin Spice Cafe, Laurie Gilmore and Lucy Score you’ll enjoy this small-town romance.

Thank you @BoldwoodEverAfter and
@lovebookstour for an advanced #gifted copy of Love and Lattes at Pumpkin Hollow.

This is such a nice book with perfect autumn vibes.
The storyline is interesting and engaging and I loved following Willow and Dylan on their journey with the pumpkin patch. It was lovely to follow their growing relationship and I feel that the rough patch in the plot was simply perfect for this story.
I like Willow but I absolutely adore Dylan. I think he is such a well meaning and a bit misunderstood man and his actions are those of someone who really cares. He changes into a full on farm boy quite early on in the story and I really love that.
All in all, this book is perfect for the autumn season and it pairs perfectly with rainy weather, hot chocolate and cozy reading spots.
