Bonnie and her husband Steffan are hiking in the Swiss Alps when they get caught in a snowstorm. Though they start feeling hopeful when they find an isolated cabin where Annalise lives. Trapped together Bonnie’s marriage begins to crack, Annalise becomes more menacing and sinister, and everyone has a secret. Someone is going to die on that mountain.. but who.

I enjoyed it though it did feel very similar to a book I have already read. Kept me entertained and there were minimal plot holes. The author did a good job at answering the questions the reader may have had, and her writing did help with the suspense of the story. The characters could have been more developed, they fell a little flat for me, not as memorable. Overall it was a good read and would recommend to others.

This book was full of twists and the end of each chapter left me wanting more! I was not the biggest fan of how it switched from first person and third person POV for some of the chapters but other than that I really enjoyed this book! I wanted to scream at Bonnie a few times because I was so wrapped up in her character! I definitely cannot wait to read more from this author, this was a first for me but definitely not the last!

This book had me hooked from the very beginning. Although I was occasionally confused by the quick switches in narration, as the character voices were not clearly distinct, the story's immersive atmosphere quickly pulled me in. The snowed-in cabin setting created a haunting backdrop that kept me turning pages.

I enjoyed the complex characters, the shifting allegiances, and the emotional tension that ran throughout the story. The high-stakes climax was intense and claustrophobic, and I found myself speed-reading toward the end to see how it would all unfold. While the twist involving Chris and Steffan felt a bit predictable, the developments with Annalise were well-executed and satisfying.

This thriller had so many twists and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time! It was very engaging, and I was never able to predict what was going to happen next. This book would make an excellent movie! I think this because the movie that played in my head while reading this book was great. The author did an amazing job at giving descriptions that can create amazing visuals. I have a great love for nature survival stories, and this story delivered. I enjoyed reading this one and I really like how they revealed the secrets!! Although from the start that husband of hers gave me the ick… so I was expecting the BS just not as bad as it was like i audibly gasped a few times reading!!

This is a book that stays with you long after the final page. I couldn’t put it down—it had me hooked from start to finish. Every chapter was a thrill ride, and I felt completely immersed in the characters’ journey. Each heart-stopping moment sent chills down my spine, building intensity right through to the very end. Absolutely incredible. Easily the best book I’ve read this year highly recommended!

This book is one you will never forget,I just could not put it down until I got to the end.Each page was a thriller ,I journeyed along with the characters,living the experience as I read each page,each heart stopping moment was chilling right to the last page,and this book has you racing right through to the last page,,it was amazing…utterly amazing!!! I enjoyed this book, the atmosphere of being lost in a blizzard was very creepy and made you feel like you were there. The story line was good I think I was expecting more of a connection between the people but overall it was an enjoyable read and I will definitely check out other books by this author

the book actually was predictable and a little slow for my pace. wasnt a horrible book but it could have used more twists and turns. wasn't a bad book just expected more plot twists but would be willing to try another book of Jessica Huntley's.

When a storm hits them quicker than anticipated, they take shelter in a cabin with a woman named Annalise. Bonnie soon begins to wonder if they can trust Annalise and then learns her husband has been keeping secrets too. Will this couple make it out of the cabin and off the mountain?

I Will Find You is a stand-alone psychological thriller that was enjoyable even though I knew nothing about mountain hiking. Huntley created believable characters and situations that were plausible. I found myself wondering what I would do in any of these situations. There are two different points of view and a few different timelines, so readers must pay attention when chapters switch. I Will Find You is an enjoyable read for all thriller fans.

I probably would have liked this more if I cared about any of the characters. I found myself speed reading at the end just to see what happened. Not sure I would recommend this, and you definitely need a trigger warning if you're at all claustrophobic! I think the premise was a great one that was underwhelmingly executed.

An enjoyable gripping tale and my second book from Jessica Huntley. Bonnie and her husband Steffan are hiking in the Swiss Alps when then get caught by a sudden snow storm. They find a isolated cabin to take refuge in, but in the cabin lives Annaliese, a somewhat of a hermit, who is not pleased by these sudden visitors.
Holed up, things get from bad to worst when they realise Annaliese is not what she seems. Bonnie then finds out her husband has been lying to her and the snowstorm means they cannot get away creating a fraught situation. A brilliant story, one that I couldn't wait to find out the ending!!

This book had me hooked from the very beginning. I will admit, I was mildly confused with the quick change between character narration, but that only made me more intrigued. A few overwhelming thoughts:

1. Never wanted to go hiking in the Swiss Alps (too cold). No I really don’t want to go hiking in the Swiss Alps.
2. I want a book solely dedicated to Annalise. Our queen deserves to have her story heard
3. Didn’t expect anything that Bonnie did for Bonnie to have done. Her character development might have been the most shocking plot twist in the book.

I can’t wait to read more by Jessica Huntley. For the first book I’ve read by her, I can only expect it to get better.

Bonnie and Steffan are on a hiking mission through the Swiss Alps. They happen upon a small cabin in the woods while they are getting pummeled by a dangerous snowstorm. Annalise, an older woman, is the sole occupant of the cabin.

Bonnie was portrayed as a kind, easy-going woman; the type of woman you would want to root for. Also, the type of woman who aggravates you because she's too damn understanding and forgiving!
If she told Steffan, "It isn't your fault" one more time, I was ready to scream!!!!

For someone who's described as an experienced hiker, at times, Steffan acted like he had zero common sense.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I found the storyline to be rather unique, and the descriptions very well written. I had never heard of this author, but this definitely won't be the last of hers that I read.

I didn't want it to end, a book I really couldn't put down.

A dangerous trek to the Swiss Alps, leaves Bonnie and her husband Stefan stranded in a huge storm. Seeking refuge they tumble upon a cabin its decidedly creepy occupant, Annalise.

This book definitely had me intrigued from the beginning. It’s told from the present and past perspectives of both Bonnie and Annalise, which definitely helped build the suspense. I think Annalise was a more interesting and more developed character than Bonnie though. Annalise’s backstory was quite frightening and helped develop my understanding of her present day situation. It’s hard not to feel sympathy for her despite how creepy she is, and part of me wishes her story ended differently and that she deserved way better than what life gave her. Bonnie on the other hand, I had a harder time understanding her motivation for the journey. I think her relationship with her brother could have been developed better so we could understand her choices.

Also, I definitely enjoyed the setting and understand the need for the devastating storm but part of me kept thinking “why didn't you choose a better time of year to do this trek?!”. Like yeah I get the peaks of the Alps will be covered in snow most, if not all, of the year. But c’mon I’m sure the risk of huge horribly storms is vastly diminished in like July or August. But that’s just me being a downer lol, the story obviously wouldn’t have worked all well without a crazy storm.

Overall. I did enjoy this book and it definitely kept me interested the whole time. Would recommend

Fearing they may not survive, the couple are overjoyed when they stumble across an isolated cabin occupied by a lone woman, Annalise. But their joy soon turns to unease as they realise that Annalise may have a sinister agenda?! Wow! That was a different freaky read! I loved it! It had great suspense, mystery, murder, dark secrets, fantastic characters, and some shocking moments! The story was very interesting and a bit different! I highly recommend reading this book! What an atmospherically chilling thriller! I can’t remember the last time I read a book like Jessica Huntley’s, “I Will Find You”. She wrote an immersive stranded in a cabin during a snowstorm premise that had me unable to out this one down Not only did I love the premise of this haunting story, I also loved the complex characters, their shifting allegiances and emotional undercurrents. Above all, the high stakes climax was so claustrophobic and thrilling that I devoured this book in one sitting!

“I Will Find You” followed Bonnie and her husband Steffan, who were hiking in the Swiss Alps when they were caught in a deadly snowstorm. They took shelter in a remote cabin owned by a mysterious woman named Annalise. As the storm raged outside, buried secrets came to light—both in their marriage and in Annalise’s intentions. Being trapped and isolated, the couple soon realized the real danger may not be the storm, but the people inside the cabin.

Jessica Huntley delivered all the claustrophobic and atmospheric elements in this perfectly constructed classic thriller. The remote Swiss Alps setting and the brutal snowstorm heightened the tension and vulnerability the characters faced. Upon Annalise’s arrival, Bonnie and Steffan were introduced to a potential rescue and threat to their already terrifying circumstance. It was utterly gripping.

In addition to the isolated setting, the character dynamics made this story more layered and intriguing. While the characters were trapped in the desolate cabin, Bonnie and Steffan’s relationship revealed some marital cracks and Annalise true colors had shone through.

This chilling, twisted story wouldn’t have been as morally complex had it not been for the haunting and introspective themes. Trust and betrayal took the spotlight by unveiling how each character carried their own secrets; and as the true motives emerged, their alliances shifted and unpredictable twists and turns untangled. The theme of isolation was as dark and unsettling as the remote cabin scenery itself which made me love this story that much more. There’s nothing I love more than reading a thriller-mystery that’s set in a desolate location during the middle of a snowstorm. I also loved how the cabin served as both a refuge and prison for the characters. The cabin also mirrored the emotional walls that the characters possessed. Moreover, about a quarter of the way into the book, the pressure to survive was ever present and the desperation and unrelenting need to persevere continued until the shocking culmination. Altogether, Huntley skillfully showcased the raw and extreme choices the characters had to make in their menacing situation. It was engaging!

“You Will Find Me” was the first book I’ve read by Jessica Huntley and it won’t be my last. I devoured this engrossing claustrophobic thriller! When compared to other novels in the psychological mystery-thriller genre, the suspenseful escalation and claustrophobic tension held strong ranking among well known authors such as Lucy Foley and Freida McFadden. If you enjoyed books by these authors and have not read a book by Jessica Huntley, I highly recommend giving this captivating thriller a read.
