The Door Under My Bed is a bedtime blast of bravery and wonder, where dreams get daring, monsters meet their match, and magic hides just one squeaky floorboard away! 🌙✨🛏️

This was a super fun read with my son. Now he wishes there was a magical portal under his bed lol! It’s a fast paced magical & adventurous story that was really enjoyable. The illustrations were great & really helped you delve into the storyline. I can see my son reading this again and again with me happily reading it with him.

A Magical Bedtime Read with Heart and Imagination - The Door Under My Bed is a beautifully illustrated and imaginative story that blends mystery, adventure, and bravery into a perfect bedtime read. Malik’s journey into a world beneath his bed is the kind of story that sparks wonder and gives kids the confidence to face their fears in fun, creative ways. I really enjoyed how the book encourages curiosity and problem-solving without feeling preachy—it just feels magical. This one is definitely going on my list of favorite read-alouds.

Who needs a closet when your bed hides a portal to AWESOMENESS?!
Okay, I’m OBSESSED. 🙌 This book is everything little-me wanted—spooky-but-fun adventure, a brave kid hero, and a door that leads to WOW. Malik is smart, kind, and totally relatable, and I wanted to jump into the story right with him! The illustrations are dreamy, and the story gave me goosebumps and warm fuzzies. If your kiddo loves magical mysteries and bedtime stories with a twist, this one’s a total winner. 🚪🌌✨

This is a super fun read, and a very unique story! Part of what made this story unique is the author combined so many different elements and mixed them into one short story. There were alien-like creatures, a magical portal, and even a troll-like creature. These things ended up making this book feel like a fresh take on the fairytale - one that doesn't feel repetitive or cliche. However, the author did maintain the integrity of a fairytale by creating a kind and understanding main character. Maleek's problem-solving skills and thoughtfulness are infectious, and I have no doubt that these positive characteristics will inspire young readers to do the same in their own lives. This is a great book; bravo!

Thank you for the opportunity to read this book to my kid. This book has a good overall theme, but I had some issues with the graphics. Some of the graphics didn't match the words. At other times, it looked like there were multiple artists and the graphics did not look the same across the book.

This sorry was super cute and imaginative! Great for kids who want a sprinkling of fantasy in their bedtime stories. The pictures were cute too and there was a great lesson!

This most adorable little short story for the budding scifi/fantasy lover. With beautiful artwork and fun, easy to understand prose, this book will allow your little adventurer to have their imagination run wild! I love that it is a positive take on "is there something under the bed?" Yes, adventure. My nephew loved this one.
