This book was SUCH a fun ride! A Witch and Her Dragon is like the perfect mix of magical academy chaos, forbidden chemistry, and all the fantasy tropes I secretly (okay, not so secretly) love. The moment I met the dragon shifter love interest, I knew I was done for.

There’s drama, danger, spell-slinging, and just enough romantic tension to keep your heart racing. Plus, the academy setting? Totally immersive. It gave me all the nostalgic magic school vibes—but with a fresh, feisty heroine who’s not here to play by the rules.

If you’re into magical secrets, dragon boys, and sassy witches who don’t back down, you’re gonna love this one. It’s fun, fast-paced, and left me dying for book two.

I was completely enthralled with this book! I could not put it down. The writing was superb, but he story was interesting. I completely recommend this book if you like witches, magic, dragons, kings, etc. I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

I’ve been genuinely loving cozy romantasy novels lately and this one did not disappoint! The plot is pretty centered around the romance aspect of the book, so it had me giggling and blushing most of the time 🤭.
A Witch and Her Dragon is well-written, charming, and certainly spicy 🥵. I loved the portrayal of the characters and how each of them had their own unique personality and I hope to learn more about them in any future Coven Crest Academy novels. 🤩

My first read by Emberly Wyndham, and I’m sure it won’t be my last, I’m already looking forward to the next book in the quartet. Coven Crest Academy has a whole host of interesting characters to get acquainted with, we start off with magical princess Alina Ravensceoft and her dragon shifter bodyguard, Raelan Ashvale, not that anyone knows he’s a dragon shifter (not even the princess). A super slow burn, forbidden (maybe), supernatural romance, with a body guard who would rather be anywhere but at the princess’s side, but who would most definitely lay down his life for her. Turns out he might be the very reason she’s in danger. Entertaining, sweet and sexy all at the same time. I really enjoyed my time at Coven Crest Academy. I received an advanced copy of this book via NetGalley. This is my honest review.
