Kate comes home one day to find her husband in the middle of leaving her, this came as a big shock for Kate as her and Matt were teen sweethearts and have been married for so long.
She jets off to Rome for a bit of a holiday and instantly finds herself at home.
I loved reading this and finding out whether she stays in Rome or settles back in England.
This was truly beautiful. An early summer read that puts you in the mood for a holiday. I've never been to Rome but after reading this I feel like ive been already.

I have read a few books by Tilly Tennant so was eager to read Rome is Where the Heart Is and found it to be an easy read. I did however feel that the plot dragged a little bit and found it hard to really fall in love with the main characters.
I felt that the romantic relationship between the main character Kate and her Italian love interest Alessandro was lacking and i wish that the author had of explored their relationship a little more. I didn't
Really feel their connection.
Overall the book was enjoyable and I did finish it in 2 sittings. A light hearted read for any Chick Lit fan.

Really enjoyed this book, I found it to be funny, light, warm with a touch of emotional issues life can throw at you. The relationships between the 3 sisters was very real and you could feel the love they have for each other fall out of the pages. I found the 3 sisters to be the main part of the plot which was lovely as it gave the book depth with many layers.
I would recommend this book and look forward to reading more from Tilly.
I enjoyed it very much.
