I really enjoyed this book, i knew that tough cowgirl Quinn had to have a really good story behind her No-man attitude.

Years ago Quinn met Tate and they became more then just friends during his summers in town. But when he went off to college and didnt come back, Quinn decide that men weren't worth her time. Now she runs the family auto shop and has the occasional one night stand. When Tate comes back to town will he be able to break down the walls that he had a hand in building?

At first i wasn't a big fan of Tate for Quinn. Mostly because we get introduced to him when he is out with someone he continually hooked up with. Maybe that make me judgmental, but i want the hero to be with just the heroine, and he is breaking it off with the woman, but it still rubbed me the wrong way. But as the story progresses and you get a little more insight to why he left i began to like Tate more and more. Everything he did and everything he sacrificed to protect Quinn made me understand the way he was before he came back to town and made me root for him to get the girl.

All in all this is a heart warming story the hero finally get back the girl, despite a rocky past and some on going problems with family.

This book was really cute and I enjoyed it. I thought the heroine took a little too long to make it back to the second chance romance party but I still liked her and the hero and the story altogether. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series.

Kiss My Boots is book two in the Coming Home series. You can read as a standalone, but it is much better read in the order the author intended.

Kiss My Boots is a second chance romance between the baby of the Davis family, Quinn, and her first love, Tate Montgomery. Tate and Quinn became friends after spending every summer with her at his grandparents’ house. There was an unmistakable chemistry between them even as teenagers. Tate is forced to leave Quinn and go off to college. Quinn never expected that summer to be the last one they spent together. Seeing Tate come back to town was the last thing she expected. She still has anger over him being gone for nine years, but her heart remembers his like it was yesterday.

I love the Davis family. They are wild but loving and protective of each other in the most basic of ways. I can't wait to see where Clay's book goes. He's the most closed off of the bunch. I can't wait to see how love changes him.

This is the second book in the series, and could be read as a standalone, but is richer for having met the Davis family in Lost Rider. I rather like that we have Quinn next, as her big brothers need to give her chance, even their protective genes are in overdrive.

That said, after Tate left and hurt her, it is not surprising that he has to make amends before there is a chance of love again. Cue tears, laughter, and just the loveliest romantic story of a second chance that really deserves to work. Thankfully Quinn is forgiving, but she is no pushover, which makes for a stronger story, and a more equal relationship, which feels important.

It is fun to catch up with Maverick and Leighton, and their plans for the future – and we have the promise of Clay and his chance to make good too.

Ms. Sloan has an exceptional talent for not just bringing characters to life, but for putting the reader right there in the room, laughing, crying, and loving alongside them all. It makes for a much more immersive and irresistible experience – just be warned that sleep will be denied as you want to keep turning the page, so make sure you start this at a time when you won't be distracted – an out of office sign might be handy!

Quinn and Tate fell in love as teens and have been apart for nine years. The story is dual point of view, so we know what each of them are doing in the now and they still long for each other. This sets the scene for an epic reunion.

Unfortunately the story missed the mark a little. I wanted Tate to have to work harder than he did to get back in everyone's good graces. There isn't a great deal of drama or action in their romance or their lives and at times I was bored. I was waiting for something exciting to happen. The high number internal monologues musing over the same topic each time didn't help the story either.

But this book has positives. Quinn and Tate have great chemistry and a strong bond. I like the small town feel and I was happy to see Leighton and Maverick again. The highlights of the story are a couple of fun scenes in Tate's office and the epilogue is pretty good too.

I enjoyed Kiss My Boots, but it didn't blow me away like I'd hoped.

I loved this one, Tate and Quinn were just perfect for one another. After being apart for nine years, Tate has moved back to town. He has come back to get his girl back. Quinn doesn't know what to do, does she give in or will she hold onto her anger? this was a really good second chance at love story, i loved every minute of it and especially the laugh out loud moments. I can't wait to dive in to Clay's story.

Kiss my Boots is the second book in the series. This is a similar format as the first book. The two main characters, Quinn and Tate, had were young lovers but ripped apart and had been for years. I appreciated that the author knew these characters wanted to be together and made that happen.
My biggest issue with the book is that they are 30 acting like they are 13. They act so juvenile that it's hard to believe they own business and he's a doctor.

Fun sexy read that takes us back to Pine Oak, Texas and all the intriguing quirky characters that live there! Quinn Davis has lived her whole life in Pine Oak although it turned out much differently than she thought it would. She feel in love with Tate Montgomery during those summers he'd come to stay with his Gram and Paw. Then he just quit coming Now all of a sudden he's back and it looks like he plans on staying. Quinn is determined not to fall for his charms again. Tate has a slightly different plan!

Great read that I highly recommend.

This is the second book in the series that centred around the Davis family and this story is Quinn’s story. As she was mainly brought up by her brothers don’t expect some meek and mild girly girl she is so not that.

When her first love Tate comes back to town it throws Quinn into a panic. I loved Tate he’s just yummy and with Quinn in his sights there’s no way she’s getting away.

I really enjoyed the dynamic between them it’s fun, flirty and sexy but the love and commitment shines through.

A really enjoyable book

I loved Tate and Quinn story. Quinn is loud, says the unexpected and isn’t embarrassed by what comes out of her mouth. She’s a hell raiser like her brothers and best her best friend call her. Tate is a lady doctor and part of Quinn’s past. He’s back in town and things change.
This book is funny and has its emotional moments when Quinn faces the past that’s been weighing her down and keeping her from truly moving forward. It’s also very steamy.
I highly recommend this book and this series.

Kiss My Boots is the second book in the Coming Home series by Harper Sloan. It's all Southern charm and full of heart.

We first meet Quinn Davis in Lost Rider. She's Maverick's baby sister and Leighton's best friend. In her book we witness another side to her. She's spunky, sassy, a hell-raisin' badass whose had her heart broken a lot throughout her life. She thought meeting Tatum Montegomery and giving her heart to him would finally heal her soul, but things don't always go as planned. Once again Quinn's heart is fractured.

Fast forward 9 years and we meet the handsome Tate. Tate would spend his summers in Pine Oak with his grandparents where he meets, befriends, and falls madly in love with Quinn. Tate left all those years back and never once called or wrote, but after hearing about his Paw's death, he's ready to return and finally win his woman back.

Quinn and Tate's relationship was sweet and sour. They didn't have an easy journey and a lot of obstacles stood in their way, but one thing they couldn't fight was their undeniable chemistry. Once they healed each other's soul it truly was like coming home.

This book was a second chance love story with silly and sexy moments throughout. You'll see how tight knight the Davis' siblings really are and it'll only make you want all their stories! Bring on Clay's book, I think he just might be my favorite!!

I loved this story and this series. This is book two and although it does have glimpses from the first book, it has the strength to stand on its own. Quinn is an unforgettable woman. Even after having left town and her years ago, Tate still cannot forget her and the promises they made for their future. Quinn runs the garage in her town and loves to work on anything mechanical. That is until she gets the chance to work on Tate's truck. Not wanting to get drawn back into her past, Quinn strives to be strong but her heart yearns for Tate and needs to know why he left her unexpectedly and why she just cant move on. This was a sassy story at its finest. Quinn was a firecracker of a woman but she had her tender side. Tate was determined to win back all that he had lost and finally live the life he wanted with the woman of his dreams. This is a great story that amused and beguiled me throughout.

"I know this is an entirely foreign concept to you, but this, Tate, is what good-bye sounds like."
I adoooore this woman!! How wonderful must be to tell that to someone who left you. Without even saying goodbye!
That's what happened to Quinn nine years ago. But now, Tate is back.
The story is told on a dual point of view. Which is good for Tate. It prevents you from hating him. At least, a little bit.
"I'll grovel until my knees have no skin left on them. If I get back and find another man in my place, I'll fight for her regardless. If she forgot how to love me, I'll remind her. Whatever it takes"
He is determined to get her back.
The story is good but at some moment it starts to go really slow. It loses intensity. A pity. The characters are interesting and funny.

I liked this one. I always love a strong female lead. I love her heart in what she loves. I loved that he came back and never gave up. Such a sweet story to keep you smiling.

Kiss My Boots is the second book in Harper Sloan’s Coming Home series. It’s about the middle Davis sibling, Quinn. When I read the first book, I was so excited that we were getting a book about Quinn. She’s fun, spunky, and I liked her a lot! Her story was a beautiful second chance romance. I loved Quinn and Tate together! They had the best chemistry and you could tell they were just meant to be! After reading this, I can’t wait for Clay’s book!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

I really liked this sweet and emotional second chance love story. I really like Quinn. She went through so much and came out of it such a strong woman. She does what she wants and what makes her happy, so she became a mechanic. She has also been determined to never give anyone her heart again. In fact, she pretty much swore off men all together after Tate, whom she thought was the love of her life, had left her so abruptly years earlier. But now he is back in town and is determined to make everything better and win Quinn's heart back. I also really like Tate despite the past. He wants Quinn back fiercely. They have fantastic chemistry and were best friends years ago before he hurt her and he hopes to capitalize on those things and get his girl back.
They had some stuff to get through for sure but love and determination get them through to finally embrace their HEA together.

Kiss My Boots by Harper Sloan is part of the Coming Home Series. The second book focuses on Quinn Davis. She is a wild child and the youngest of the Davis siblings. She runs the Davis Auto Shop and is a kick butt mechanic. When Tate Montgomery left to go back to school, he suddenly stopped all communication with Harper years ago. Tate and Harper loved each other and had been great friends for years, but when he left she shut down her heart.

After years, Tate suddenly is on his way home to Pine Oak, Texas and he is determined to start again with Quinn. There is so much that has happened, Tate needs her to hear him and to be willing to work with him to start again. Quinn is so not pleased with his return. She wants nothing to do with him, she thinks.

Kiss My Boots was a fun, flirty read. I think Quinn was too wild and unpredictable to enjoy her as a character, but I did like Tate and her brothers a lot, so I was able to deal with Quinn. Harper Sloan’s second Coming Home book did read quickly and showed a fun story.

As you may have read in my previous post on Lost Rider (#1 in the Coming Home Series), Harper Sloan has fuelled my infatuation with cowboys. So when I got the request to review both Kiss My Boots and Cowboy Up, you can imagine my delight.

And yes, we pick up after Maverick has made amends with his Leigh. His little sister Quinn (and Leigh's BFF) is doing great in her auto repair shop. Never happier than when her hands are dirty from restoring great cars, like Bertha. (Quinn has the tendency to name cars, because "You've got to be on a first-name basis when you are working under someone's hood").

But then Tate Montgomery comes back to town... The only guy who Quinn has ever trusted and the one who betrayed her. After her mama leaving her, Tate promised he would always be there for her. And then he also left her...

So besides her overbearing brothers Clay and Mav, Quinn never trusted a guy ever since. But now Tate is back. And to make matters worse, he is a gynaecologist now and taking over the practice of his recent deceased Paw in Pine Oak. So, even with a broken hoohah (yep, it is what you think it is...), Quinn will end up with Tate, since there is no vagina doctor in a forty mile radius.

Tate is determined to convince Quinn to give him a second chance. But maybe, after she hears the truth about his leaving in the fist place, there will be no second chance. Or maybe Tate's previous life will catch up with him.

Read on about the Davis family and their love life in the typical Harper Sloan's way: with a laugh, a tear and some damp panties. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Pocket Books and Netgalley for providing the arc. And I can't wait to start on Cowboy Up, to read about Clayton.

This is the second book in the Coming Home series and we get Quinn's story this time. I really loved Quinn in the first book and I was looking forward to seeing what Ms. Sloane had in store for her. This is a second-chance love story. Quinn and Tate were young lovers who were separated for 9 years when Tate made a decision that would change their young lives. Quinn is a strong, sassy woman who has struggled with abandonment issues her entire life. I enjoyed reading her journey as she works to reclaim herself. Tate is a terrific, hot Harper Sloan character. He has his work cut out for him trying to win back Quinn but for him, she is the only one.

This was an enjoyable read and I was entertained as Quinn and Tate's journey unfolded and they worked toward their own happily ever after.

Kiss My Boots by Harper Sloan

No joke from a lie, I am speechless with this story. I was hesitant with this one, only because the first book I liked but didn’t LOVE. But here laddies and gents, book lover all around the world… THIS book called KISS MY BOOTS is everything I love.

As always Harpers writing is perfect, flawless and all so romantic.

“Your life will always overcorrect your steps for you until you’re finally on the right one”

Kiss My Boots is 100 percent standalone, it is a second chance romance and you will laugh, swoon and be pleasantly surprised at how quick you will eat this book up. Yes, we are back in her Oak Pine world, Texas.

Tate and Quinn, 9 years they have been apart and not because they wanted to be apart but because when you are young and so in love and have nothing but fears and adults standing in your way, your miss-leaded to do the “right” thing… in this case what Tate did was so swoon worthy I forgave him as soon as he explained to us why he sacrificed 9 years away from Quinn.

Quinn, is so perfect. Sassy, quick to the punch and a kick ass mechanic… yes, a lady mechanic… so hot! Tate is a lady doctor, and the one liner’s in this are so funny you will be wiping away tears from laughing so hard, and because their romance is of the charts so sexy and sweet. The passion they have for each other ignites our pages.

“He’s a doctor. Trained to see patients in a clinical manner. He doesn’t show up at the office and spend the whole day coming over himself because there’s some lady pockets in his face. It’s a doctor’s office, not an orgy by appointment.”

The cover on this one, is life. I love staring at my copy on my bookshelves.
Jesus Jones, you must pick this book up! I can’t fault anything, everything was perfect I am so excited for the next one, even though while writing this book I have already finished it but just to be able to remember everything you loved about it while writing a review.

Arc was given to me for an honest review, and since then I have purchased my paperback and love it even more.

Kiss My Boots
By: Harper Sloane
📚💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💕📚

Second Chances could lead to Forever!

Kiss my boots is book two and a perfect Coming home/Second Chance Book that follows Quinn Davis and Tate Montgomery. Childhood friends and teenage lovers, separated by circumstances beyond their control and the people that control the strings of life.

Tate finally has the opportunity to return to Pine Oak and try to get back the woman that he loves. Quinn's world turns upside down the minute she hears that voice on the phone. Now he's coming back to town...this can't be happening. Right? Or could it but Quinn is definitely not ready for the emotions she if feeling.

Tate has his work cut out for him. Not only does he have to worry about winning Quinn back, but there are her brothers and her best friend Leigh. Add continuing the medical practice that his grandfather ran in town and Tate has a very full plate.

Maverick and Leigh as well as Clay will be around to help Quinn and Tate when pride is set aside. There are ups and downs throughout the book. Harper Sloan does an amazing job in letting us into the minds of both Tate and Quinn writing in dual POV my personal favorite. She’ll of course bring all the emotions and laughs as well in this incredibly relatable and oh so swoon inducing book that will have the tears running and you hoping that Quinn and Tate get there Happily ever after.

Thanks to Netgally for letting me read and review!!!
