Thank you to Keris Marsden, Matt Whitmore and Nourish Publishing Company for the privilege to read The Paleo Primer: A Second Helping early released for an honest review;

As a paleo aficionado of over a decade now, I am in love with the headway paleo cookbooks are beginning to make in the market and I had to jump at this book as soon as I saw that it was up for review. I was not disappointed in any manner!

I feel this book is not only straightforwardly helpful for both the paleo beginner and the paleo old-soul (who feels they've been here and done that so many times over). I love the layout of each page and how it gets you feel active, involved, and looking in every corner and box to see what new tibits, recipes and advice are being offered up with each new turn of the page. The recipes are delightful and so was the walk through. I will be picking this up and getting a few copies for friends!

A weirdly laid out book that I thought just didnt get the message across as to what Paleo is about. Maybe I just didnt get it. The recipes seem uninviting too. I'm a pretty experienced cook and this book just was unappetizing.

The layout of this cookbook is a lot of fun and it gives a lot of information on nutrition and healthy eating habits. Unfortunately, none of the recipes we tried was to our taste, with the notable. exception of the ginger-lime-chicken and the peri peri chicken which were really good.

I haven't read (unluckily) the first one, but I don't say that because it was necessary to comprehend this one, no, just because this one was so well written, easy and interesting that maybe even the first one was as good as this second installment. Anyway good and right information about food, mythes debunked and good recipes, what else do you need?

THANKS TO NETGALLEY FOR THE PREVIEW!
