A fantastic YA book with a really strong main character. This reminded me of a modern day Nancy Drew, I absolutely loved it and will be going back to start the series from book 1!

This is the fifth installment in the Laura Marlin series and is another exciting read. Laura and her classmates travel to Australia on an all-expenses paid school trip that turns out to be, as expected, too good to be true.

On arrival in Australia, danger lies ahead for Laura, Tariq and their new friend Elspeth in this fast-paced adventure. I did feel sorry for their long-suffering teacher and his stress levels!

I will definitely be buying this book for my Y6 class library and expect it to be popular with all the children.
