This story is the third in the series featuring the oldest Romano brother, Leonardo. Continuing to convert an ancient monastery into an exclusive resort, Leonardo encounters a determined Stella representing an international preservation society. She is extremely optimistic and certain that her plans for the monastery are the right ones. She only cares about the Historical preservation; she has no concept of the business contracts nor how anything else is affected. Leonardo and Stella fall for each other but are really not on the same page throughout most of this story. I found it difficult to really connect with either of the main characters since I felt they were both a little too narrow minded. ( Not horrible people, but not well developed adults. ). Leo and Stella have feelings for each other, but separating their private lives from their professional ones is a challenge. Can they figure out what is truly important before it’s too late? Read and discover for yourself.

I received an ARC of this story for a review.

Sicily - a dream escape from reality with its historical cloak and the romance by the sea. This series has to do with three Romano brothers re-building a hotel made magical by their grandparents. Time has raped the property of its vitality and only through North can it be given the breathe of life again. Leonardo is the brother with the art to restore the interior heritage to this retreat. Marketing and planning is derailed when Stella Brown announces that the historical preservation must be met. But when the billionaire is faced with a halt to the project he has the means to disappear. A twinkle of hope and Stella's heart must locate Leo to make the resort a reality. "A copy of this book was provided by Relay Publishing via Netgalley with no requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion."

This was definitely my favorite of the Romano brothers series! Leonardo wanted to just walk away after the going got tough, but Stella stuck to her convictions and got the job done! Here's to an awesome heroine!

A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I have read the other two books in this series and this was my least favorite. It does read as a stand alone. I like the preservation aspect but it didn't quite make sense. All reputable firms dealing with renovation and design should know the laws. That didn't make sense. I just didn't feel the vibe on this one. I wanted to like Stella because I admired her outlook on life but I just didn't. I think this shows the depth of writing. I rated this a 3.5.

I have just had my dose of Leslie North today: two books, #TheRomanoBrothersSeries and I can safely send a message to the ardent workers at the cupid factory that it's been a swoon worthy evening.
This book tales the story of Leonardo and Stella, one loves to be in control and doesn't want to give it up and the other does not give up on what she loves. A battle of hearts indeed. However, I did find it quite interesting that for once, Leo decided to take the step back and opt out and Stella had to go looking for him.
I believe my thirst for a romance novel to read has been quenched this week courtesy of NetGalley and I still say, Leslie North has a way of giving a reader such a high, with her writing style and romance.

Of the 3 books in this series, Italian Billionaires Determined Lover, is my favorite. Stella is also my favorite character.
