As with the first book; Sabrina meets Geek Girl with a touch of Clueless thrown in for good measure!
Funny, enjoyable and the perfect book to read in one sitting.
I think I preferred this to book one as I was already immersed in Amber’s world and her chaotic life! Lots of laugh out loud moments and I really hope there’s a third book!

I loved the first book in the Windy City Magic series, so had high hopes for the sequel. I was not disappointed. Wow. All the clever urban fantasy world-building from the first book was equally in evidence, with some fun new elements added and an amazing mystery. Centering the mystery around a relationship made me heavily invested in Amber cracking the case, and also it was nice to see such a healthy LGBT relationship as the main focus. Please, please can there be another in the series? I want to know all about how Amber gets on with her cooking career, as well as about Amani and Vincent. Too invested in the characters to stop now!
