Dylan longs to be a superhero like his older brother and sister, but when his superhero power emerges, he thinks it may be The Worst Superpower Ever. Dylan discovers that he is able to communicate with iguanas - not cats, dogs or birds - just iguanas. And to make matters worse, the four iguanas he finds in the Untameable section of the local pet shop aren't heroic kung fu experts at all, but just rather sweet, likeable reptiles called Paul.
But when all the world's superheroes are captured by the evil Platypus Kid, only Dylan and his iguanas can save the day.
I loved this book - great characters, and some really satisfying running jokes. The plot rattled along, with plenty of laughs along the way.. I can imagine it appealing to children who have enjoyed Mr Gum books.
