This was a really sweet romance and just what you expect from a Mills and Boon book. This is the first book I have read from this author and it will not be the last. It was a good steamy read with likable characters and a storyline that held my interest right until the end

Swept Away by the Enigmatic Tycoon is written by Rosanna Battigelli, published by Mills and Boon and is part of the new True Love series. True Love replaced the Cherish series. In the new TL series the heroine is the main focus of the storyline. She is meant to be strong, independent and relatable whilst the hero is dependable, trustworthy and most importantly of all worthy of the heroine's love. The hero does not necessarily have to be rich, a Tycoon or King/Prince/Sultan etc but are strong, dependable etc. The storylines are more realistic, I love reading M&B Modern where the hero is a sheikh etc but they are not necessarily relatable to me or the real world!

Justine Winter has returned home to run the family business, Winter's Haven holiday cottages in Georgian Bay, after having her heart broken and having to leave a toxic relationship as her boyfriend was also her boss. Casson Forrester who has bought an adjoining property and wants to purchase Winter's Haven to build Franklin's resort. He also has an adorable dog called Luna Lu. The sparks fly and the attraction between the pair is palpable after Cass rescues Justine from her ex. Their fledgling relationship, however, is threatened by secrets and wariness about being in love after prior failed experiences.

I enjoyed this book. It is Rosanna's debut novel and it is well written, light hearted, easy to read gentle romance following the development of a relationship between the two main characters. It has lots of strands to the book, some of which are delicate and thoughtfully addressed, others slightly humerous as are the characters. The characters do not appear one dimensional but are likeable, relatable to the reader.

This is the first book by this author that I've read and I love finding new talented authors. I was hooked from the first page to the very last one. This book has lots of hot and steamy scenes mixed with an amazing story. I fell in love with the characters as I read. The chemistry between them sets the pages alight as you read. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

Highly recommended author

Justine has had her heart broken. So she has returned to Winter's haven, to run the family business. She is glad to be back and happily running it when Casson waltzes in and makes her an offer for the land. He has recently bought the land on both sides of her property and wants to develop it. Justine is horrified and turns him down. Casson wont take no for an answer, so he bribes a couple who are staying in one of her cottages and takes their place. Justine has no choice but to interact with Casson and his cute dog Luna. Both our hero and heroine have been wounded by past events in their lives. Casson lost his brother to cancer at a young age. Justine had been hurt by her ex. Both events left emotional scars behind. Sparks fly between these two, can they open up and let each other in? Highly recommended for fans of contemporary romance. ARC received from net galley & mills & boon insiders. In exchange for an honest review.

Naughtiness 2 *

I loved this book very much and will definitely be collecting more of Rosannas books in future, she is a new author to me.

I won't give spoilers but will say this truly is a sweet romance with twists and turns on the way that in the end, love and support can bring us through anything, I truly hope that one of the secondary characters our hero's family member will feature in her own hea at some point too.

I really enjoyed reading this book, it was engaging but light to read and the characters were believable and relatable. The author really took time to draw you into the setting and at times I could really picture the view! This is an excellent debut novel and I look forward to reading more by this author.

This is the first book, written by Rosanna Batigelli, that I have read and I certainly will look out for more! The setting was idyllic and I want to go there. The characters are very believable and the storyline full of the twists and turns that make the reader wonder if they will ever get together. There are certainly plenty of obstacles in the way of their romance. An enjoyable read

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and read it in one sitting. Justine Winter has returned home to escape a toxic relationship, and takes over the running of a peaceful retreat from her parents who have decided to retire and go travelling. Carson Forrester, a millionaire businessman, arrives at the retreat intending to buy Justine's property having bought the two neighbouring properties to develop them. Sparks fly immediately, with Justine refusing to listen to all of any offers for her business. Cass and his lovable dog have got their work cut out...But are aided by the unwelcome arrival of Justine's former flame... I would thoroughly recommend this book. I am reviewing this book for Mills and Boon insiders, but all opinions expressed are my own.

This is a sweet romance where the heroine has been hurt by her ex-boyfriend and boss, so resigned her job and returned to her family home. There, she has taken over the running of the Winter’s Haven resort. Not long after this millionaire Casson Forrester arrives wanting to purchase the resort which he plans to combine with the neighbouring property he now owns to create a waterfront resort. Whilst he’s handsome and attractive - and his dog, Luna Lu, is superb - sparks fly between the two, both romantically and discordantly. After he helps rescue her from a dangerous situation, she has to reevaluate her thinking but there are other secrets to get in the way of this potential romance! Can they resolve everything to enable them to move forward to a HEA together or does fate have other plans for them?

The story has many emotive issues in it that are sensitively included and explored. The characters are well developed and the back story of Casson is definitely one to tug on the heartstrings! The beautiful setting, dramatic events and the true reason behind the resort all contribute to make this an engaging and feel-good read. This is a contemporary romance which would be a great waterside read, whether you’re by a pool, lake, river or the sea.

I requested and was given a copy of this novel from Netgalley by Mills and Boon via Mills and Boon Insiders, with no obligation. This is my honest review of the book after choosing to read it.

I found the story to be a warm and easily read. A light-hearted tale about the developing romance between Justine and Casson. Justine has been hurt before and is wary of trusting again. When Casson enters her life wanting to buy her property, she is determined to have nothing to do with him. However, they become interested in each other, chemistry between them sizzling as romance develops.
A pleasant, lightly humorous story with well drawn, likeable characters, including an adorable dog and well described beautiful beachside setting. A feel-good, entertaining read.

A Beautifully Written Story of Heartache and Second Chances, 4 Stars 🌟
Ms Rosanna Battigelli’s Debut book Swept Away By The Enigmatic Tycoon is an emotional story of heartache and second chances set in the beautiful fictional location of Winter’s Haven.
When Justine Winter has her heartbroken she packs up her life, quits her job and returns home to Winter’s Haven to run the family business and piece her life back together. But when her haven is threatened by the charismatic millionaire property developer Casson Forrester wanting to buy Winter’s Haven (to construct a luxury waterfront resort) the sparks fly and Justine and Casson find themselves drawn together with Casson planning on using all means necessary to make Justine change her mind. However, all is not as it seems and when Justine's ex-boyfriend reappears she is reminded of her poor judgement, but luckily Casson and Luna Lu are in the right place at the right time. Can Justine and Casson overcome their past heartaches and honour Franklin's memory for a truly well deserved HEA.
Ms Battigelli’s debut is a beautifully written book that covers sensitive subjects delicately, with well rounded engaging characters that capture the reader's attention. I would be interested to see where Ms Battigelli goes with her next book, perhaps Ronnie will find love for herself and a father for Andy? Definitely a writer to look out for.
I received my copy from Netgalley and Mills and Boon via Mills and Boon Insiders, but this does not influence my opinions as all opinions are my own.
