A good easy afternoon read overall. The author has a nice flowing writing style which ensures a easy read, whilst I didn't find myself entranced by the story or characters it was a good easy afternoon read. |

There's a slow burn and then there's a sloooowwwww burn. Good grief. It felt like it took forever to get this going, but then even once it did, it felt like it never quite came together for me. I know that part of the plot was that both of the main characters were kind of socially awkward, but it just didn't work well for me. I wouldn't mind reading other titles by this author- I found the secondary characters more interesting than the main ones. |

This is Rose and Greg’s story which is the finale of the three book series. I don’t feel like this book really stands alone, as there is too much back story from the previous two books that is needed for it to make sense. Rose and Greg seem like opposites, but they have their priorities in common. The three sisters finally come to accept the three fathers, even though they agree that they will never use DNA tests to see who is actually who’s father. The premise behind the series is definitely unusual, but this book brings the series to a satisfactory conclusion. |
Just a treat to read this story. I really liked all about. It gave me the feels and a must read for this author |

I hadn't read any other books in this series, but I don't think it mattered. This is the story of Rose, bought up by her hippy mothers, along with her 2 sisters, on a farm in Maine. Lawyer Greg keeps showing up, but is it just to see her? Makes me want to go and read the rest of the series now! |

I knew that Greg was keeping a secret from Rose. I never thought it would be that though. I have to admit This is the first book that I've read in this series. Maybe I would have had a clue if I had read the first two. This is the only thing that I felt left out on, So I guess it is okay to say that, Rose, can be read as a stand alone. |
Elle Casey’s Rose is a perfect addition to the Red Hot Love series and finally getting to see Rose’s story unfold was so sweet. |
I have never read any books by Elle Casey, but I will read the rest of the books in this series. I loved Rose. She is sweet and kind. The sister dynamic was wonderful. Despite the first look, Greg was perfect for her. The ending of the book was absolutely perfect. Now I have to go buy the others. I received this book from Net Galley for an honest review with no other compensation. |
I didn't finish Rose by Elle Casey. The writing was fine and the premise of the story was interesting, but there was doggie violence (not death) in the beginning of the book and I didn't read past it. |
Wow!! Great book!! I've read every book in this series and I'm sad to see it go! Now I only have it four stars, in the beginning I was going to give it three!! The main reason, which I think I've stated after every single book, it's only the girls pov?!!! That stinks! A lot of people don't mind and it's not to bad in this series but I have some friends that won't even read it because it's one pov! So I loved it So much I only took off one star! This is the last sisters book, Rose and Greg book , it's been a great series i definitely enjoyed reading it! I would have loved it and been my top favorite if it was fuel pov! But I highly recommend this book and series! Thank you NetGalley and Montlake publishers for sharing this book with me! It's been a great ride!!! |

I love Elle Casey, but I'm getting a little tired of her flighty female characters. And Greg had me a bit confused with his back and forth. I liked when they finally got it together, but it seemed a little forced. |
3.5 Stars If you haven't read the Red Hot Love series, it's the story of three women raised as sisters on a hippy commune in Maine. Their mothers created the commune to hide them all from their rock star fathers. When the men learned about their possible daughters, they sent a lawyer out to contact them to offer a meeting with the band and a large sum of money. Each book is about one of the sister's experience of falling love and getting to know the men who could be her father. Rose is third and final sister Rose's book. Rose was my favorite book in the Red Hot Love series. It still had an insta-love feel to it like the previous books, but it was less of one because of Rose's beau. Greg Lister, Red Hot's lawyer, has been around since the first book and his relationship with Rose felt like a natural progression. The timeline in the book did make the blossoming of their relationship feel fast, but that was okay for me. I really liked Rose and Lister together. Another thing I really liked was the bit of mystery surrounding Rose's animal shelter. Things started happening and I thought I knew where the story was going, but I didn't. It went where I wasn't expecting. I liked that. My biggest gripe with this book was the conclusion. We. Still. Don't. Know. Who. The. Fathers. Are!!! It killed me. I have wanted to know this from the very beginning. It's kind of why I started reading this series in the first place! This isn't really that spoiler-y because I feel like I knew I wasn't ever going to find out, but STILL!!! Even though I didn't get my answers, Rose was a fun, quick read. It was a good ending to the Red Hot Love series. I think fans of this series will really enjoy it. |

Rose got me from the first page. The characters are great. The story kept me turning the page and I couldn't wait to see how it turned out. Great end to the series |

This 3 book romance set has been very enthralling with its unique family relationships, past and current mysteries along with sexual tension and unexpected adventures. When I wrote my review on Amber it was difficult because Amber’s personality is much more outgoing than mine so I couldn’t really associate with her. Ember’s personality was easy for me to associate with as I’m very much like her so that review was easier to write. Rose’s personality is a combination of Amber and Emeralds. She’s strong and level headed but satisfied with her life as it is. She is totally happy immersing herself with the care of her animals at her clinic. Rose stays on the sidelines of her now much enlarged and strange family relationships. It’s like she’s on the outside looking in and perfectly happy staying there. She has not accepted the events of her mother’s past history with the band and prefers to let it rest and not become better acquainted with the band members that have become her new family. She especially does not want to spend time with Lister as he is the one that originally brought the contract from the band giving her the $10 million, yet she is drawn to him just as he is to her. The events of the book continually throw the two of them together and a sexual tension builds but neither is ready to reveal their feelings to the other out of fear of losing their new found friendship. This is a must read. There is mystery and intrigue that will keep you from putting the book down. |
3.5 stars! I love Elle Casey. She is one of my favorite authors of all time. I am sad to see this series end. I loved these crazy sisters and their hippie family. Rose takes care of animals. That is all she knows. She is a simple girl who likes her like on the farm. I never imagined in a million years she would end up with Greg Lister, super uptight lawyer! This was another cute story by Elle. Loved the premise. Very unique storyline! |
