I could quite easily summarise our review of the story that's behind the striking cover of Dreaming of St Tropez in one word. "DELIGHTFUL"
And you would only have to start reading to find out why. Opening the cover you step straight into the life of Jess.
Jess is a likeable character whose life takes an unexpected turn. Many will find her easy to relate to. When given a new opportunity, it's always difficult to make the ultimate decision whether or not to take it. And the story that unfolds will make for entertaining, summer reading.
Turning the pages, increases the desire to read more and more. You will smile, laugh, cry and gasp with "uh oh" moments.
Dreaming of St Tropez, is written in such a way that you are automatically transported to the location, your stomach rumbling at the food and you will feel the sun on your back at the beach bar.
I enjoyed every second of my vacation in St Tropez last weekend! And reading this made me feel as though I had, had a weekend away without leaving home. The medicine I very much needed after a sudden allergic reaction set, grinding me to a halt.
There was only one problem.... the book came to an end. Please keep writing, T A Williams.....

This is a first for me from this author and was very enjoyable. I was off on an exciting adventure to St-Tropez and one full of romance and laugh out loud moments. The descriptions in this book are brilliant and makes you feel like you are right there. I love to get totally lost in a book and this is one of those books.

Dreaming of St-Tropez is another of T.A. Williams beautiful books set in an exotic location. I have visited St. Tropez, once a good few years ago and I can still remember the feel of the place. It is like no other I have ever been too. It is spellbinding and magical and makes you feel like a million dollar, whilst surrounded by those that are actually worth that amount, and more.

T.A. Williams manages to create a feeling of standing right in the heart of the place through his superb, visual writing. The setting was just perfect and had me right back there. The characters too were all pleasantly realistic, which is what makes the book so appealing – that and the eye-catching cover.

This is definitely a book to put on your summer reading list. It is a light-hearted read, but one that is addictive and had me wanting more. I just didn’t want to put it down, in fact I read it in one sitting.

I love TA Williams books- they always have wonderful characters, superb vividly described settings and a lovely labrador dog .St Tropez has never really been on my radar but now I'd love to go and visit and enjoy the scenery and the trappings of wealth on show.
Jess has agreed to take a dog over to St Tropez and spend a few weeks dog sitting. Her friend has always had a dream about St Tropez- so she eagerly agrees to accompany her. They also plan to get the dog back in shape and reduce his calorie intake!
Their 'holiday home' sounds idyllic and although they are looking after the dog they are keen to help out where they can. The son seems to be quite distant and arrogant- but Jess has more contact with him and little sparks fly between them. She is keen to help both David and his Dad move on after suffering a bereavement.
I could just imagine walking along the coastal path into the town, taking the path that leads directly to the beach and also a peep at the luxury yacht.
I was totally drawn into another world, keen to enjoy everything along with the characters and now can't wait until he releases his next book. The perfect summer read.

A typical chic lit romance book. Took me a while to get into the story but by about 60% I couldn’t put it down. The story started off slow even though the main character Jess was likeable. The setting of St Tropez makes it a good holiday read and helps you dream of summer.

Even if you don't have a holiday booked whilst reading this book you will feel you are in St Tropez.
A nice feel good read, couldn't put it down read it in one day.

If you're looking for the perfect holiday read, for the beach or even the back garden, this is it. 

Sun, sea, a troubled hero, a lovable dog and an intelligent, kind heroine who lives her life with integrity make this an absorbing read with plenty of laughs, most of them doggy related. Conflict-ridden romance and a second chance at life mean this story is full of poignant moments too.

The story reveals St Tropez as something more than a rich person's playground, with its historic past, unspoilt beauty and intrinsically interesting population. The story has a delightful symmetry when Jess unjustly loses her job only to find a 21st- century fairy godmother provides her with a holiday and a chance to make a difference to two people who life has mistreated.

Believably vivid characters bring this story to life, and there are pockets of excitement amongst the romance and angst to keep you turning the pages.

Full of sunshine, a few clouds and the winds of change this is a lovely, easy to read holiday romance.

This is the perfect summer read, especially if you are having a staycation.  The author's writing transformed me to St Tropez, as she provided so many details that I could imagine the setting perfectly.  The storyline was perfect, as it was a quick and easy read.

This is another superb story from this highly talented author. I recommend you go read the book rather than my review, then get ready for a humorous story with great characters, stupendous settings and a plot filled with fun, mystery, suspense and, of course, romance!

So, just in case you’d like to know more . . . . 

Jess is a bright, successful architect who, after upsetting a Russian Oligarch by standing up for herself, loses her job. This turns out to be fortuitous as a former elderly client, Mrs Dupont, asks her to take her beloved black Labrador, Brutus, to her son, George, who lives in St Tropez, so he can look after the pampered pooch whilst she is off cruising round the world for three months - though she’d rather Jess stay to look after Brutus as her son is very absent minded. What a great offer - an all expenses paid holiday, a luxury car and somewhere to stay for all the three months if she wants and the option to take a friend with her. Jess and Hope jump at the chance and so their adventure begins!

This is a delightful, laugh out loud romance, especially with the antics of Brutus! George is as absent minded as his Mum had warned but it is his son, David, who catches Jess’s eye. Mind you, he’s the first of many great characters Jess and Hope meet in the area and both will find love and romance in the end. However, along the way there are tragedies to discover, friends to be made, danger to escape from and romance to be found for not just one but three couples in this story. 

The settings are so brilliantly portrayed it feels like you’re actually there, though there’s one setting where I’d really not have liked to have been (but I’m not saying any more about that - you’ll need to read it yourself to discover what I mean). There are also some really tasty dishes described that will have your mouth salivating in anticipation. I’d love to know if these restaurants actually exist - I’d love to dine at the one in the cellar and join in the beach party! Through it all Brutus has a starring role and is a great character. I’d love to know what Mrs Dupont thought when she saw him again!

This is a great read that had me enthralled from start to finish. I have no hesitation in highly recommending it - and any other books by this author - to anyone who enjoys fun reads with great characters having adventures and finding romance in beautiful settings.

Time in the French sun is a definite up for Jess, who has been fired from her job.  We should all be so lucky as to have someone rescue us by offering a dog sitting job in St Tropez. Jess and her friend Hope find there's more to the job than getting weight off Brutus the dog, there's also dealing with some family issues.  Some of the dialogue is a bit stilted but on balance this is a good read, especially when you want something light.  Thanks to netgalley for the ARC.

A great read, fantastic ending and I now want to live in St Tropez. Dreaming Of St Tropez has certainly done its job as I now want to move to the continent and live the lifestyle of delicious food and glorious sunshine. 



After reading Dreaming Of Florence for a separate book tour, I knew I had to have more of this delightful series of books and suddenly I'm transported into a mindset where I want to be on a beach without a care in the world on the stunning Cote D'Azur.



Starting off with an intolerable rich client who thinks wealth entitles him to everything, and everyone, Jess and her friend Hope get a stroke of luck when an old client asks them to dog sit in the south of France. Set on finding herself a rich bachelor, Hope jumps straight in and falls for a handsome man on a superyacht whereas Jess sets up camp in a lovely hidden away Greek styled cottage. 



I love the idea of being on a superyacht but the cottage is far more appealing to me and with a stunning walled in garden the set is ready for a love story to unfold. 



In a good old fiction based plot, Dreaming Of St Tropez visits a family who are grieving. Grief and a horrendous boat accident have severely affected life for Jess's new acquaintances and it's her job to cheer them up. She definitely has her work cut out for her but after water related incidents she comes up trumps and gets the guy. 



I've loved reading Dreaming Of St Tropez and have found it very difficult to close the book. I want so much to be back at the beach bar but since I can't I'll just keep on dreaming of St Tropez.

Easy read,, but somewhat formulaic and predictable. Preferred other books by the same author.. Nice setting.

Can I say my dream is to actually BE a character in one of T.A.'s books?? I've read and reviewed several of his books, and I absolutely love them!! This book is no exception.  A delightful setting, a summer rent-free in a guest house with her best friend, new friends, a good looking guy...AND a lovable black Labrador? Yes please! I enjoyed every minute of this book and it's the perfect vacation or beach read. I read the entirety of it on a cross country flight and it helped me imagine I was reading on a nice warm beach instead of stuck in an airplane! I loved Jess as a character, and I also really liked David as a character, mysterious as he was at first. But my favorite character of all--Brutus--the black Lab! Out of all T.A.'s books this is one where I really want to know more about what happens to the characters after the book is over! If you're looking for a light, entertaining, makes you happy beach read--this is the book for you!

I really enjoyed this book. 

Jess is showing an Oligarch around a high end property in London when he constantly propositions her and she tells him off. Unfortunately the man doesnt take it well and she ends up being let go from her job. A former client of hers requests her prescence as she has a job for her. She wants Jess to take her labrador Brutus to St Tropez where her son lives so he can look after him whilst she goes on a round the world cruise for 3 months. She tells Jess she can stay at a guest house on the property for the duration and that she can bring a friend. Jess agrees. She and her best friend Hope go over and meet Charles and his son David. Both in anguish for different reasons and with Jess's help they all start to recover and along the way make new friends and fall in love. 

A very charming story and i really liked the way the author showed the ordinary side of billionaires and its not all yachts and champagne, although there was plenty of that going around!

I really like this authors writing style and will be purchasing the back catalogue.

You can always depend on TA Williams books to transport you somewhere. The places he chooses to set his novels are sunny and fun and always interesting. There' romantic comedies and this one involves a rather oversized dog which seems to  take over and it's why Jess gets the chance to go to St Tropez. Now, I;m no dog lover but even I would be up for heading out to the gem of the French Riviera and spend time in St Tropez. I have been and it's as lovely as he describes but I'd like to go again and walk Brutus this time!

Fun and carefree this tales are. A lovely book to read when you just want to enjoy a book. relax in the sun and pretend you're actually in the place where it's set.

I'm starting to think I must repeat myself every time I read a T.A. Williams book, between the stunning location, delicious food, great friendship and adorable dog and a gorgeous guy what more could a girl want in a book. 

Let's start with the location, St. Tropez in the French Riviera, which is every bit as glamorous as it sounds, a town filled with the rich and famous but also plenty of regular people too, which was a relief to Jess as she isn't too keen to rich people. 

Almost from the moment the girls arrive in France, you are bombarded with descriptions of the area, their home for the summer, and also all the French food, from the crumbling flaky pastries for breakfast to the arrange of fruit and veg available locally and meals out in restaurants, you certainly get the gourmet's guide to Williams' St. Tropez. 

When Jess loses her job for standing up for herself, she isn't sure what to do but a former client turns into her saviour by offering a few months in the sun, in St. Tropez looking after her dog Brutus, while she goes on a round the world cruise. Jess is allowed to invite her best friend, Hope along, and Hope has been dreaming of visiting St. Tropez for many years.   Thankfully they both like jobs and Jess is also asked to try to improve the lives of the men living in the French residence. 

David is her client's grandson, and he and his father have been having a difficult time over the past few years, and although I kind of liked the look of some of the other men floating about in St. Tropez, Jess's heart felt something towards one in particular even without being sure why. 

Brutus, what a fabulous dog, he as labradors often are one of the stars of the book, starting a an overweight dog that needs to be put on a diet, as the girls look after him more and more, he starts to act more like an active dog with plenty of energy.  Regardless throughout he is capable of getting up to hilarious mischief! 

I was enthralled from start to finish in this immensely enjoyable story of sun, sea, sand, swimming and St. Tropez.

A super fun book about where dreams can take you when you least expect it. This was such a great read. It had a bunch of twists and turns that were completely unexpected. It made me want to get to St. Tropez right away!
