This book was quite good fun to read, lighthearted and enjoyable. The main protagonist was slightly annoying - I think I find this with all those 'heroines' who think they are not quite good enough for the love interest, it grates slightly. But I didn't let it spoil my enjoyment of this book, set in a lovely setting.

We are introduced to the main character of Millie straight away in the story. Mille is a Michelin star chef herself, but has taken on the running of the Paradise Cookery School in St Lucia to help out her friend, and celebrity chef Claudia Croft, but Millie is quite happy to have an escape from the heartbreak that she has left behind at home, after her relationship with Luke ended.

Millie is super nervous about running the Chocolate and Confetti course, and her first clients are bride-to-be Imogen, and her family and friends. A run of huge bad luck hits the bridal party, and very unexpectedly, Millie finds herself coming to the rescue several times over!

With twists and turns, unexpected events and one very special man, Millie’s time at the Paradise Cookery School is full of fun, laughter, St Lucia sunshine and . . .

I’m not going to ruin it for you – you will just have to read Confetti and Confusion to find out what happens with Millie!

I completely fell in love with Confetti and Confusion – it is the perfect feel-good book and perfect for reading this summer lazing on the beach or by the pool – enjoy!

Part of a series, set in a Caribbean cooking school, this is an easy read. The characters are likeable and the descriptions of St Lucia make you long for some winter sunshine!

I loved the first title in this series and this second one was possibly even better! You can't beat the combination of gorgeous scenery, fabulous flavours and simmering romance. I can't wait to download the third title and continue the adventures with Millie and co. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful story, very uplifting, the writing just flowed and I genuinely couldn’t put it down.

This genre is far beyond my usual boundary of reading, but I couldn't resist it. It's a fairly quick read and spiced with humour and feel-good-factor without being honey-sweet. Unfortunately, I didn't get to read the first book of this series, but as far as I know, it didn't seem to make any difference. I enjoyed it far more than I expected, so I have requested her Christmas story. It is best to read it on a full stomach. Thank you to NetGalley and Canelo.

This is the second book in the Paradise Cookery school series and it really felt like visiting old friends. Millie was called in to help when one of the owners had an accident and was unable to get the school up and running. In the second book Millie is helping out with a hen party doing a delicious sounding chocolate experience.
It's a really heartwarming book, with wonderful sunny pages making you wish that you could escape to join them.
This book has everything - chocolate, romance, a wedding, catastrophes, and the most picturesque setting. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Another wonderful light enjoyable read. The continuation story of Millie, a Cordon Bleu trained chef who just finished putting the final touches on the kitchen for the new Paradise Cookery School, on a cocoa plantation on the island of St. Lucia. The school being the newest investment adventure by famous chef and author Claudia Croft. Still recuperating from a fall, Claudia asks Millie to stay on to teach the first workshop. Millie takes on the challenge of the workshop for a small hen party, while the men enjoy adventures on this paradise location. The wedding to take place at the local resort Sunday. The adventures begin. Again as mentioned on my review of the first book of this series ‘Sunshine and Secrets’ the only suggestion I have would be is a few easy recipes. Every woman loves chocolate.

I got the chance to read this book in exchange for a review. It is the second book in a series, so I decided to purchase the first to read before this one. I'm glad I did as I don't think the books are stand alone options - they need to be read in order. I did enjoy this book for both the romance and the humour. The only part I wasn't sure about was after the zip wire when the characters raced back to the car. Daisy James had given a description of the zip wire going dramatically downwards and this made me doubt the racing back to the car by foot, especially as they would have harnesses to return. In spite of this doubt, I did enjoy the story and found the characters to be warm. It's definitely a feel good book and it has made me want to read the next to find out the outcome of Millie & Zach's relationship.

What a lovely burst of sunshine this story is, after all it is set in the caribbean paradise of St. Lucia and features a great deal of delicious sounding chocolate creations.

This has all the trademarks of a Daisy James book - romance, a fabulous setting, beautiful descriptions and tasty food, with a great selection of characters.

I loved that the Paradise Cookery School was set on a cocoa plantation, and despite not reading the first book of this series, I felt like I was meeting up with old friend with this books. There is enough references to the first book catch you up with the story so far and I do think this can be read as a standalone.

I loved the guests on the Chocolate course that Millie was running, and really go caught up in their situations as well as Millie's life. There is a bit of sight seeing on the island, and the local market sounded like a chefs dream!

This was a very enjoyable way to while a couple of hours and I am looking forward to the next book.

I loved going back to the Caribbean to see what Millie was up to now. She's a thoroughly likeable heroine, who can think on her feet and adapt to any given situation. She may lack the organisation of some but can react to events. This makes her the saviour of several situations in this book. The setting on St Lucia is beautifully conjured up, full of sounds, scents and colour and you can really visualise the idyllic scenes.
There are lots of familiar faces to reacquaint with in this second novel and some lovely new ones as well through the wedding party who have signed up for the inaugural cookery course. There is some real humour to enjoy and I found it so easy to read- the words flew by and I read it in one sitting. I am looking forward to the next in the series, Mistletoe and Memories which is due out in September 2018.

In short: Sunshine soaked romance in the beautiful Caribbean.

Confetti & Confusion is the second book in The Paradise Cookery School Series. I was thrilled to be back reading this instalment and being back in St Lucia with Millie.

Once again a word of warning.... Do Not Read This Book on an Empty Tummy!!
It will make your tummy rumble! Especially if your a chocoholic like me!

So we're back with Millie and the Paradise Cookery School is now open for business. With Millie helping out with the classes for celebrity Chef Claudia.

So what better way to kick off the classes then with a hen party and bride to be Imogen. I mean what could possibly go wrong!

I am absolutely loving this scrumptious series so far!
There is plenty of Drama, mishaps, mayhem, old flames, romance, a wedding, yummy food, laugh out loud moments, Chocolate and Cake, a gorgeous location, i just want to pack my suitcase and jet off to The Paradise Cookery School.

This is a Fabulous short read that will leave you hungry and wanting more. The characters are perfectly written, witty, loveable and fun.

I love Daisy James's Books she always makes me smile, laugh out loud , feel good, leaving me wanting to read more. Her characters are always so warm and relatable. She is definitely one of my Favourite Authors.

This Instalment can be read as a standalone but there is so much drama, mishaps and humour in the first book it sets the whole scene for Confetti and Confusion.

If you are looking for your next summer cosy feel good read. Then pick up a copy of Confetti & Confusion by Daisy James it will leave you smiling, warm and hungry!

Another lovely story in this series, I loved St Lucia and so this book bought back fond memories of holidaying there..... looking forward to the next one!

Oh how lovely and a delight it was to be back in St Lucia with Millie, Ella, Lottie and Zach to name just a few. This can be read as a standalone and Daisy does provide enough information regarding the first book but please do read the first and find out how the cookery school got set up.

This follows straight off from the first book and Millie is still stepping in for Claudia being in charge of the school. We meet Imogen and her wedding party, Millie and Ella lead the girls in making cakes and all baked goods. Imogen and her friends are a lovely bunch, by the end I felt as if I was friends with them all.

Despite it being a novella there is plenty going on throughout the book and I quickly devoured it. My mouth watered from the goods that Millie and Ella cook up, the sights of St Lucia were just brilliant and it’s made me want to visit for sure. The adventure that Zach and Millie go on sounds amazing, Daisy please say you didn’t make the Tree Tops Adventure up?! The Paradise Cookery School is a delight to read about, I loved reading about how Millie and Ella are coping with the first guests at the school.

Daisy’s writing is stunning, she whisked me away to the gorgeous island and as before she has made me want to visit. The market sounded fabulous, I love markets in different countries, the sights, sounds and smells are always completely different to what we have in the UK.

The romance is lovely and charming as well as being believable, the characters are brilliant and the setting is just pure bliss. I’m excited for the next installment in this gorgeous series.

Oh I am so glad that I got to catch up with Millie and Ella at 'The Paradise Cookery School'! I absolutely adored the first book in the series, 'Sunshine and Secrets', so I couldn't wait to head back to the Caribbean to find out what was in store for Millie this time around.

'Confetti and Confusion may be the second book from 'The Paradise Cookery School' series, but I definitely do recommend that you read the books in order otherwise you may find that you're missing out on the start of Millie's journey and how she found herself in the Caribbean in the first place.

Despite this book being quite compact at around 160 pages, it certainly packs a punch! Millie isn't sitting twiddling her thumbs or topping up her tan, in fact she is run off her feet as she takes a detour from the Paradise Cookery School owner, Claudia, best laid plans! I can guarantee that helping a bride-to-be wasn't part of the plan at all, but because Millie has got a heart of gold, she can't sit back and watch a wedding day go to ruins because of someone else.

Of course, whilst romance is prominent in this storyline due to Imogen's upcoming wedding, Millie's new friends are watching her closely to see if she finally plucks up the courage to let a certain man know just how she really feels. Well, it might help if she stopped falling over her feet, especially if HE gets to be her knight in shining every time, being none the wiser to Millie's true feelings...

I will be devastated when this series finishes as it has got to be my most favourite serial that Daisy James has written to date. There is something very special about Millie, and Daisy James has done a fabulous job by bringing her true personality to life by mixing Millie with some rather colourful people, as well as taking her out of her comfort zone.

'Confetti and Confusion' made me giggle and left me grinning from ear to ear. What a truly fabulous, spirited, and huggable little read this is. I absolutely loved it and will be recommending this series until I am blue in the face. More please!!

Daisy James is one of my go to writers. This book is exactly what's needed to put a smile on your face. Her writing style is brilliant and so are her characters.

I enjoyed my first foray at the Paradise Cookery School. This was a nice, quick read where the characters and the story combined to be a delight. I received a copy from NetGalley and the publisher and this is my honest review.

I liked this book, although I don't think it quite lived up to the first book in the series. I still found it sweet and lovely and look forward to the next one!!

Sometimes in life you want to curl up with a book that takes you on a gorgeous sun-filled journey filled with warmth, heart and charm. This is were Daisy James new mini series fits in perfectly as she whisks you away to a tropical paradise in St Lucia were the enticing aromas of the local produce and cuisine is almost as intoxicating as the stunning vistas around the island.

Confetti & Confusion takes us back to St Lucia and to Millie who's temporarily working for celeb Chef Claudia at her Paradise Cooking School. This story starts us off at the beginning of a hen week filled with culinary cocoa inspired delights for the bride-to-be and her entourage. However, there's a mystery surrounding the wedding planner and when carefully planned details are at risk Millie and her new friends come to the rescue for the wedding party of the year on the island.
Amongst the mishaps and mayhem leading up to the wedding Millie's friendship with Zach is blooming but also her date for leaving the island and going back home to London is getting more imminent. Will Millie open her heart to a tropical romance?
Another gorgeous romantic instalment from Daisy James that brings a smile to your face and a beat to your heart. I was disappointed to reach the end as I want to know what lies ahead for Millie and for Zach. It looks like I don't have to wait too long as a third instalment of The Paradise Cookery School is due out in September, yay!

If you can't afford the Caribbean this Summer, this book is the next best thing. Full of sunshine, warmth, vividly depicted scenery with a tumultuous romance and a mystery too this will keep you happy wherever you're reading it.

The second in 'The Paradise Cookery School'series, 'Confetti and Confusion' reads well as a standalone too but I did wish I read the first in the series 'Sunshine and Secrets'. Millie agrees to run an exclusive cookery course for a bride to be and her entourage. She's in need of something to lift her spirits and loves cooking, so this is the opportunity she can't turn down. Strongly attracted to Zach the acting estate manager, she wonders if she can risk her heart again.

The setting is sublime and well described, especially through the food on offer. Millie is a lovely character and her friend, and colleague Ella is a warm and giving person who helps Millie step out of her self-imposed shell.

The plot is written in the style of a 'Death in Paradise' story by without the murder. It gives a flavour of Caribbean life, without being overly descriptive and the characters are likeable and relatable. The ending gives Millie hope for the future, and now I can't wait for the Christmas book.
