I ve read Vicki Hopkins books , she is an brilliant author ... so was a bit disappointed with this book ... i found the book ok ...It was very predictable also found the characters portrayed went overboard in there emotions & actions ...
Lady Charlotte is a widow bold, open, brash & scandalous & doesn't believe in being conventional, Albert Beckett is a honest, straight but also arrogant , untainted man with a remarkable reputation ...He accepts the challenge to reform Lady Charlotte's character ...From here the story begins of how they both fall in love & change one another's outlook ....It's a light Regency Romance ...

What a fun read this was! Two people, Lady Charlotte and Albert, Lord Beckett have extremely opposite personalities. The former enjoys her scandalous reputation but there is more to Charlotte than her outward appearance. Albert is strait laced and correct in all his ways and gives little thought to those less fortunate. It was enthralling to read of their differences but also how they affected each other. This is ideal for a light hearted summer time read. I received a copy and have voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I received an advanced reader’s copy in exchange for an honest review

This was a bit of fresh air, really enjoyed the story and the protagonist but it did feel the ending was rushed. Would have liked to see some more development before the HEA
