Really quick read I couldn't put down even after my lunch break ended. Hudson and Erica have spent a wonderful month together with no strings attached. Secretly, they both want more, but neither admits it. A month after Erica goes home to her pack, she learns she is pregnant. Back to Hudson's pack for a visit. Only, she doesn't realize that he came for her. Seriously, this was a sweet love story. This was my first book from either author. It is book 7 in the series, but can be read as a standalone. |

This was a quick, enjoyable read. I read this in one sitting. Once misunderstandings were dealt with, this couple was able to get their HEA. They were cute together. I loved the epilogue. I want Malcom’s book next. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. |

You pretty much get exactly what is laid out in the synopsis, folks. After working through a little bit of relationship angst, Hudson and Erica lay their hearts on the line and their misunderstandings/miscommunications behind them. Ultimately, both getting exactly what they want and need, each other. This was a quick, easy, romantic read without a lot of fanfare or unexpected drama. Even if you aren’t an avid wolf shifter paranormal fan, you can’t help but root for this likable main couple. Title: Wolf’s Mate, Series: Crescent Moon (Book 7), Author: Katie Reus/Savannah Stuart, Pages: 250, stand-alone but part of a series, novella, wolf shifter romance, no unexpected big reveals, surprise pregnancy, a couple very steamy scenes, older alpha protective hero, both are wolf shifters, romance safe. (I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I was not given any payment or compensation for this review, nor is there any affiliation or relationship between this reviewer and the author/publisher/NetGalley.) |
