Ok, first off, I love Audrey Carlan’s books. Her Calendar Girl series is one of my faves. IG was supposed to be something along the same lines. But I’m afraid to say it’s not the case. I wanted it to be better. |
International Guy: Volume Two: Milan, San , Montreal was a great read by Audrey Carlan. This box set consists of the fourth, fifth and sixth novellas in the International Guy Series. Parker Ellis is a ladies man who owns and operates International Guy Inc. He is a life and love coach. I can't wait to read more in this series. |
I called San Francisco home for 5 years. This isn’t the San Fran I remember, wink wink. Thanks for all the sexiness! |
MILAN In this installment of International Guy we are in — you guessed it — Milan. I loved everything about this book. The building of the relationship between Parker and Skyler, the service the guys were in Milan to provide. Everything just came together beautifully. The boys are in Milan to help out with a fashion show. But this isn't your ordinary fashion show, this is a lingerie show featuring your every day woman. You know, women who you are friends with, all shapes, sizes and levels of security. Milan shows what a difference it makes when people feel empowered. Another sexy, delightful IG read! SAN FRANCISCO OOOH we get to go to San Francisco now. I loved living there — hated driving there!! This novella was full of drama! I read from cover to cover so that I could know what happened. But my favorite part of this one was getting more Royce and more of the bromance that Parker and Royce have. Watching their interactions, even when they don't agree, shows how strong their brotherhood is. I feel like we don't usually get to see this in books. We often see the friendships that women have, or even large groups of friends hanging out but we don't usually focus in on the friendships between men. And when they are mentioned the friendship is more "assumed" you don't get everything that goes into it. Here we could really fell and see how deep their love for each other goes. MONTREAL Oh Montreal... what a ride you take us on! This installment was full of intrigue and flirtations and emotions. I loved how the whole team was here working together. But the end... THE END! AHHHH give me more! |
The Dream Maker, The Love Maker, and The Money Maker made up IG. Together, they advise the wealthiest people in the world: Hollywood hotshots, European royalty, and the CEOs of multibillion-dollar companies. And sometimes they can’t help it when things heat up and they end up in bed with their clients. The stories continues … The relationship between Skyler and Parker blossomed in this book. Love the chemistry, passion, and love they have to each other despite a rough patch (insecurity, jealousy and long distant relationship). New character emerged. Same ideas – Milan IG helped with a fashion show. They played match making in San Francisco. Montreal is more serious with deals and trading secrets. The ending … well we need more. |
This series has been something else, you pick up an Audrey Carlan book and you are guareenteed to loose your self in the pages, Audrey transports you away with her words. Thoroughly enjoyed this book. |
I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. There is a lot of action and excitement and emotions going on in these three novellas. It took me through a lot of phases as I read them. There were times I just wanted to yell at Parker to wake up. I feel for Skyler. I can't wait to keep reading so I can see what is going to happen next. My favorite character is Bo. There is just something about the way he carries himself. I need the next one. |
Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this title. Unfortunately, this was one I chose not to finish. My apologies for the late notice. As I don't want my low rating to appear on the site and potentially impact the choices of other readers, I wait until after a title has been published/no longer able to be downloaded. Inadvertently, I waited much longer than intended to give feedback for this title. I look forward to the next title through your company! Thanks, Laura |
Parker will definitely make your heart flutter. He has found that one person in his life that makes everything worth it. Every new experience makes you determined to see these souls together. I definitely enjoy each time Audrey releases a book since you find characters you can believe in and cheer for them every step of the way. This series is absolutely amazing. |
I have yet to read a book by this author I have not loved. I just can’t state how truly gifted she is and how much her books are enjoyed. Such a fan girl over this series. Every book has been awesome. Must read! |
Love in a Whirlwind November 18, 2018 Format: Kindle Edition This is volume 2 of this series, and the series should be read in order to get the most out of it. The premise of these books is that 3 guys can and do fix and pinpoint any problems business women have internationally or at home in the USA. First you have Parker aka The Dream Maker, then you have Bogart aka The Love Maker, and last but not least you have Royce, The Money Maker. Also sprinkled in is some love, a lot of hot sex, and a story that entertains you for a while and gets you out of your current situation for a while. You have an author who is very good at weaving stories around characters, that are each defined and well fashioned. She uses words to pull you into the story creating a fantastic picture and movie in your mind, Just when you think you know what is going to happen she takes you off in a different direction that you didn't see coming, and wow, somehow makes the clients dreams come true, and maybe some of the guys dreams as well. This volume takes place in Milan, San Francisco, and Montreal. In Milan the guys are doing a fashion show, helping regular women feel more confident, sexier, and helping them get in touch with their inner selves. In San Fran, we see how the guys take on matchmaking, but in my thinking Royce has met his match here! Good thing I'm not a writer, cos that would be too predictable! In Montreal, we see the guys trying to infiltrate a successful company losing money due to information leaks allowing another company to get the jump on them. I was in a kind of book coma for days thinking about what was going to happen to everyone in these books! All of the characters and even some of the characters on the fringe of the main characters get drawn into the mix, which makes for a good book that is worth the cost of the book. I read this book voluntarily for Net Galley. |
I instantly clear my schedule when this series has a new release. Filled with romance and adventure, these three tales will make you fall for the IG team even more, while keeping you on your toes. Each of the International Guy books are page-turners that you will embrace and immediately want more of. Audrey Carlan is an outstanding author and knows just how to captivate her readers! |
Another fantastic story for this series! I loved seeing how dedicated Parker is to Skylar, especially with the temptation of another beautiful woman in the picture. Of course it doesn't help matters with another person scheming to come between Parker and Skylar, and I'm anxious to see how things will end up for these two. |
Audrey Carlan does it again. In this second installment she definitely doesn’t disappoint. If you loved volume one then you definitely need to pick this one up. |
These 3 stories were 100% as amazing as the first 3 stories. I havent figured out what it is about Audrey Carlan but I have yet to be disappointed by any book of hers that I have read. If you haven't picked up the start of this series yet, you need to! |
This entire series was a struggle to get through. Well I only read one to get to two. So disappointed as this is one of my favorite authors. |

This is a great box set and has good stories to enjoy but I was a bit lost as I’ve not read anything by this author or series. I would recommend reading the first book or box set before reading this one, just so you get to enjoy the stories that much better and the flow from story to the next. |
International Guy: Volume 2 stole my heart from moment one. With the first volume I fell in love with Parker, Bo and Royce and of course, Sophie and Skyler, and even though for a minute there I wasn't feeling Sky and Parker's relationship, they definitely made it hard for me to continue to feel that way. Their relationship is so adorable, these two are completely in love with each other and the chemistry and passion between then pours out of the pages even when they are going through a rough patch. I must say I got a bit frustrated with how Parker handles his problems, but ugh, I couldn't stay too mad at him because I could feel his love for Sky. And let's not forget the amazing characters that complete the story. Wendy and Michael are so cute and hot, the opposite of one another but you can't help but love them together as we get tiny glimpses of them through the stories. I loved Royce and Bo's additions to the story, how supportive and fun they are. And of course, I loved the stories behind each place the International Guy crew visits, the stories are interesting and some even keep you on the edge of your seat. Adorable, sexy and fun. |
Received an ARC for an honest review. So with Volume 1, I was a little disappointed that we weren't going to get Bo and Royce's stories as well (although, I'm pretty confident Carlan has something planned for each of those lovable guys). Now, I'm invested in Parker and Skyler's story. Don't get me wrong, it's a lot of back and forth with each of them dealing with a lot of jealousy issues. And it does get a little tiring at times - why can't they just be happy for like, a minute, before their world is turned upside down? I like that the individual stories are becoming less about the clients and are focusing more on the guys. It's great seeing them work together to help these clients and I'm absolutely obsessed with Wendy. (Did Carlan already write her and Mick's book? That can't be the case, right?) The end of Montreal was pretty abrupt and needed a bit more closure, but I get why Carlan ended it the way she did. Although the excitement was a little much for my heart to take. I got more upset by that than when Skyler overheard Parker and Sophie's conversation at the end of Volume 1. Can I read Volume 3 now? Please? |
