Thrilling story with a plot that kept me turning the pages, really well written with great characters. Highly recommend to everyone who is a fan of this genre.

Though I had high hopes for this novel, and though it started out well, I soon grew disgusted by the limp-wristed main character and his Casper Milquetoast journey through life. I wanted to grab him by the collar and tell him to grow up. Normally, a character's personality wouldn't be a deal-breaker for me, but this guy was so annoying and such a candy-ass that I ended up finding myself rooting for the bad guys hoping they'd shoot him, burn the body, and end my misery.

Showed great insights into possible mental health issues and how they are met, or not. The tension within the writing was palpable and at points I was holding my breath. Would recommend.

This is a gritty, fast paced thriller about a supply teacher who, rashly, buys a house in a very rundown area of Leeds and only upon purchase realises his enormous mistake. It's such a horrendous mistake that you can't help but feel anguish for the situation the lead character has got himself into.

Overall, I enjoyed it and really felt for Ollie (the lead character) as well as his new girlfriend. Ollie is a complex character who, although frustrating at times, overall engenders sympathy and horror at his situation.

His next door neighbour is a neo-Nazi with similar friends and acquaintances and Ollie ends up in a situation that doesn't bear thinking about.

A good read with a satisfying ending and a content that stays with you long after reading.

A perfect mix of domestic and International crimes set in a lovely locale. I recommend this book for the fans of Lee Child and Vince Flynn.

Ollie Clay inherits some money and impulse purchases a run down property in a less than salubrious district of Leeds with the neighbour from hell. And so his troubles begin.

The Bad Neighbor is the first book by David Tallerman that I have read and whilst it took a little while to get into it ended up being a satisfactory read which kept me entertained until the end.
