I requested this thinking that it was the full book and so I didn't download it and then it was archived

One of the best YA mysteries ever! I was kept guessing until the very end, and thought the mix of format made it even more intriguing.

I LOVED everything about this! The way it was written was just outstanding and the mystery was just sublime. I am in awe of Holly Jackson and her incredible way of getting you hooked.

This is such a fantastic little sampler that has me completely hooked. I'm so intrigued by this mystery and can't wait to read the whole book. Very compelling and easy to read writing style.

After reading this sample, I went out and bought this book (well bought it on my kindle) . A good girl's guide to murder is fast paced and keeps you guessing too. Can't wait for the sequel.

For a young girl, who loves a page turner, this is the book for you. Utterly brilliant! Fantastic read. I would highly recommended this excellent piece of literature.

Pip is a model student, hard-working and resourceful. She’s also determined that in her little town someone has, literally, got away with murder.
Andie Bell and Sal Singh are names that everyone in the town knows. Andie was the good girl murdered by her jealous boyfriend, who then killed himself because of his guilt, denying family the chance to mourn Andie properly. Pip, however, recalls Sal and can’t reconcile the view of him she has with what people say about him. She is determined to find out what really happened and prove Sal’s innocence.
Nothing prepares her for what she uncovers in the course of her investigation. Her doggedness, however, makes for great reading.
Most people would run a mile at the situations Pip finds herself in. She seizes them and battles through some pretty scary stuff to show what really happened. The truth is far darker than you’d imagine.
Pip was foolish at times, but a great story and I’m grateful to NetGalley for allowing me access to this prior to publication.

This is a superbly gripping and intense snippet or excerpt and has certainly achieved its objective with this reader in that it whet my appetite for the full novel. I will be waiting as patiently as I can!

I loved this sampler of A Good Girls Guide to murder, I am really intrigued to read more and love the looks of the multimedia within the book.

This may be YA but adult fans will love the plot twist as Pip begins a controversial school project to uncover the mystery of Andie’s death. With a crime that shocked a community, a body that was never discovered and all the evidence pointing to one man, our teen detective, must delve further into discovering the truth beyond a reasonable doubt; but will she start to have doubts of her own?

Pip is a terrific character with compassion and the kind of drive that we love in our sleuths in their relentless quest to get the truth. Mixed media helps us to try and solve the case with her, but there are plenty of wrongs turns to shock and astound hidden in the pages too.

Holly Jackson bravely confronts more adult issues in the book such as the justice system and the way the media stokes fires behind certain crimes. A brilliantly written novel that will satisfy crime fans of all ages. A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder could easily be the best YA book of 2019.

The sampler of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder was so exciting! It was a little short but gave enough away that I''m sure I'll be reading this book next May.

As I only received a sample, I cannot give this a full review. However, the snippet that I did read, was full of intrigue. Everyone loves a good murder mystery and I found myself wanting to read more about Andie's disappearance. There were one or two occasions where the project and Pip's life didn't flow right to me. One minute I am reading a transcript and then the next paragraph goes back to Pip's daily life. It was a little dizzying but I would imagine this would be easier to follow (format wise) when the book is published.

This was such an interesting sampler. The way that the trust was destroyed by this one act and this family still being hated was introduced really well. It'll be interesting to read the full book when it's released.

Pippa lives in a town which has recently been rocked by the abduction and murder of 17 year old Andie Bell.  Evidence points towards the murderer being Andie’s boyfriend, Sal.  As part of her A-levels Pippa must write a report on a topic of her choosing and she has decided to use this as an opportunity to prove Sal’s innocence.

In this short sample I was quickly drawn in to the mystery and wanted to read more. I wanted to know why Pippa would choose this topic, if I was writing a project towards my A-levels I would want something a little easier to research and gather evidence for!

Ahhh I adored this! I was completely absorbed in this case and I NEED to know what happened! The writing is fantastic, characters believable and I can tell there are going to be plenty of twists and turns!
