ENSNARED is the first book in the ACCIDENTAL BILLIONAIRES series, and what I wouldn’t give to become a billionaire accidentally! It’s a spicy read that is told from alternating points of view in alternating chapters by Jade or Eli. It did get a little confusing since it was written in the first person narrative, and I often had to look back to see whose chapter it was.

ENSNARED kept my interest from the first page to the last and was sometimes spicier than I think it needed it to be. Jade and Eli have secrets in the way they present themselves to the world. They both have a depth to them, and we learn about them a little at a time. He’s a billionaire businessman that does a lot of philanthropy. She’s a geek and one of the accidental billionaires, and it was interesting to see how that came to be. This series is tied to Ms. Scott’s SINCLAIR series, which I need to read to find out about the family dynamics.

Jade and Eli have immediate chemistry, but he’s looking for a good time. Jade will take what she can get but believes she wants more. The dynamics between Jade, her twin sister, and four brothers was interesting to watch, especially when everyone went into protective mode. Eli and his mom have a strong relationship since they’re all that’s left after the deaths of his father and twin brother. There are businesses to run and learn about, adventures, romance, and burn-up-the-sheets moments. The vivid descriptions of their homes, the mountains and the wildlife was spot on—especially the glamping, which is glamorous camping with amenities and even services, as if you were staying at a resort! My type of camping.

The prologue and epilogue added another layer to the story, but the epilogue didn’t go far enough for me. There is some closure as well as some loose ends, which I hope will be addressed in the next book of the series. I definitely wouldn’t mind being back with any of the accidental billionaires!

Ms. Scott is a new-to-me author. I look forward to reading many more of her books and have added some to my always growing TBR pile.

LOVED this book! Jade has clearly been struggling since she and her siblings were discovered and now have more money than they could have ever imagined.

Throughout the book, it is clear that Eli is in love with her and that he will fight with all that he has to keep her. As with any couple, Jade and Eli go through their ups and downs but Jade is thrown for a loop towards the end of the book. I was sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting to see how J.S. Scott would brilliantly craft their happily ever after and she did not disappoint.

I love how this book ended and cannot wait for the next book in the Accidental Billionaires Series.

Jade Sinclair and Eli Stone Since finding out that her rarely there father was one of the wealthy East Coast Sinclairs and that she, her brothers and sister are mega rich thanks to the her newly found half-brother Evan Sinclair, Jade has felt disconnected and on her own. She continues to immerse herself in her academic interests and to teach her classes on wilderness survival. She meets with Eli Stone in an attempt to secure a ‘useless’ piece of real estate as a wildlife corridor. The meeting did not go well, but Eli takes a very strong interest in her. She rebuffs him, but at least she knows he doesn’t just want to date her money!
I didn’t want to like Eli at the beginning of this book. He acted like a bit of a jerk. But as he pursued Jade, it became more clear that something else was going on here. These two characters worked together just right. It became evident that Eli wants the best for Jade, but rather than doing the rich guy thing and just buying it for her, he pushed her toward her goal.
This story drew me in from the first page and kept my interest riveted to the turning pages. LOVED IT!

Jade Sinclair is a new billionaire and has no idea how to live with those billions. She meets Eli Stone when she goes to his office trying to buy a piece of land he owns. Eli is a multi-billionaire who immediately becomes obsessed with Jade and even though he turns down selling her the land he wants her. She keeps turning him down until he took away all the options and bought out the spaces and becomes her only student in her survivor class. Overnight during their talk he offers to teach her how to live with her billions and thrive. This is the start of their whirlwind week and each day topped the next until they ended up glamping in Montana. So much happen and these two are so great together, I had such a great time with this book and look forward to seeing where this family goes!

What an amazing book. Jade really wants to buy some property from Eli Stone and he won’t sell. Loved how hard he had to work at getting a date from her. Loved their chemistry but he doesn’t think he’s boyfriend material. I cried over a situation and ached on why he couldn’t sell the property. But no worries, we get a very happy ever after. I highly recommend this book.

Ensnared was another great read by J.S. Scott. This is book one in The Accidental Billionaire's series. Jade is a wildlife conservationist who definitely did not come from money. She became a billionaire overnight when she found out that she was a Sinclair. Eli has always been super rich and thinks he can buy his way to Jade. I absolutely fell in love with Jade and Eli. I can't wait to read more by J.S. Scott.

REVIEW:

Jade Sinclair, a wildlife conservationist, is a brand new billionaire. Having just discovered she is part of the uber wealthy Sinclair family, she is still adjusting to having more money than she knows what to do with. Her and her siblings grew up poor and had to work very hard for what they have. Sometimes it still feels like a dream to Jade.

Wanting to put some of her money to good use, Jade meets with Eli Stone, a well-established billionaire himself in order to see if she can purchase a piece of land that he owns in order to preserve it for wildlife.
Eli is as intimidating as he is good looking and it unsettles Jade a little. Eli is curious about Jade and the details of her backstory. They have a rough start at first, but then later come to an understanding that seemingly benefits them both.

Once they give each other a chance, they realize they have some things in common and get along pretty well. I enjoyed the progression of their relationship. I liked that they were pretty much on even ground...financially speaking. And that even though they are both wealthy they each had something to learn from the other. Their physical chemistry is undeniable and I loved seeing Eli and Jade come to terms with their feelings and what they mean to each other.

This was the first book I’ve read by J.S. Scott, and I look forward to reading more books by her. Her writing is easy to fall into and her characters are solid. I am curious to see how the next Sinclair family member will fall in love. Entangled, book two in The Accidental Billionaires Series is slated to release on April 30, 2019.

RATING: 3-3½ out of 5.

Brilliant. Loved this book and I am loving the series and it is great to see the other characters brought in. Totally recommend.

I thought the premise of this book was really good, I fully expected to enjoy the book based on this.

The problem?

I couldn't get past all the whining! I've never heard someone complain as much as Jade did about coming into money. She became a billionaire overnight and all she can do is complain about it?! Who does that? I get that it would take some getting used to, but seriously the whining was just annoying.

DNF 15%

Let's start this review by saying that I have binge read J.S. Scott series before and that I follow each new book that comes out from this author's hand. That out of the way, I'm behind on my TBR list from J.S. Scott latest novels except The Sinclairs and The Billionaire's Obsession series.

That being said I found myself, for the first time, annoyed while reading a J.S. Scott book.

Jade is a tough girl thanks to her background, she can stand on her own two feet and I like that about her. What I don't apreciate is how fast, without much reason she gave into Eli once they were together in the same space for a minimal amount of time. Her being naive at some points as to why he was attracted to her or if he was actually attracted or just messing with her I can understand.

Eli has a past and I get him more than I do Jade, sadly, but that doesn't mean he's perfect. He's a man with caveman tendencies and one track mind. What I dislike the most about him was the attitude that "I need to fuck her out of my mind" thing. That never works and makes him look ridiculous in my eyes.

The story flowed beautifully even when I had my doubts about some behaviours or reactions from the characters. I still enjoyed this book as much as possible because I picked it up and I wanted to have fun reading it. By the end, I rolled my eyes a few times, shook my head other times but over all, I had a very good time.

The world was known to me because of my love for J.S. Scott series about wealthy men and their other halfs, I even knew Jade's twin story from Only a Millionaire. I was very familiar with their world and that made me feel comfortable in the story.

A word of advice: If you have read a lot of billionaire romances or such, the stories may start to become more predictable and the characters may seemed similar to others you have read about. Try to clean your palate with othe type of stories so this doesn't happen to you. I'm speaking from experience here *smile*

I would recommend this book to my fellow J.S. Scott readers and others that love billionaire romances. Just one more thing, don't forget that we're reading fantasy and it doesn't have to resemble reality much to be entertaining.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book provided by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are my own.

4,5 Stars for Ensnared by J.S. Scott, what can I say about this book well guess I should start with what a great start to the new The Accidental Billionaires Series and if this book is anything to go by this author has another hit series on her hands. This is a spin off from the Sinclair’s series and as I haven’t read those books I was wondering if it would make a difference to my enjoyment of this story I shouldn’t have worried because after reading Ensnared I not only want more in this series I want to go back and read The Sinclair’s.
Jade isn’t used to having money and is struggling with becoming a billionaire overnight and she meets fellow billionaire Eli Stone when she pitches an idea to him, there is instant attraction between them but Jade believes Eli is just another rich playboy who isn’t interested in more than one night. Eli Stone up until now had no interest in relationships but Jade started feeling he didn’t know he had so he offers to spend 10 days with her showing her how to be comfortable as a rich woman........
Instant attraction, sizzling chemistry as well as some witty banter makes this a real page Turner, I loved the plot I loved the story and I can’t wait for more from The Sinclair’s.

3.5 <b> No rest for the rich</b> Stars
J.S. Scott is really good at weaving!
This book takes our history with this author in the form of her Sinclairs series and takes it in an unexpected direction. This story is about Jade Sinclair who was born to poverty until one day she is told she inherited a billionaire dollars because she did have a father who died on the opposite coast. Jade doesn’t care about money she only cares about animal conservation and survivalist skills. Eli Stone loves his money and arrangements. What do you do when the woman who wants to save the world is saving her heart and the man that owns the world is guarding his? This book is filled with instant lust and a HEA.. and we all need those types of books sometimes. What I didn’t care for <spoiler> Jade is very immature, the characters are engaged within a week of knowing eachother, and the book is a bit repetitive.. we get it she is new at being rich </spoiler> But don’t think my spoilers mean I wont continue this series.. I love the HEA J.S. Scott gives you and each book has great character development and they are all a bit original so it keeps it interested.

What's not to like about a J S Scott billionaire romance? She gives us unique, interesting and likable characters and stories that are really enjoyable to read. We can live a vicarious rich life for the few hours we immerse ourselves in one of her books.

Going from rags to riches is something most people dream about. But when it happens, how does one learn to be a billionaire? They don't exactly have a billionaire's school to attend. Jade Sinclair is struggling to reconcile her impoverished childhood with her newly found wealth. Who better to teach her than uber billionaire Eli Stone? She's a reluctant student, at first, because she knows he has ulterior motives.Eli wants Jade and will do what it takes to have her. Somewhere along the way he discovers the want has turned to need.

Another hit from J.S. Scott. This is a new spin-off series. The book kept me engaged from page 1. Definitely a recommended read

I have hemmed and hawed over this review for a couple days and I've finally come to a conclusion. The feelings I had while I was reading Ensnared changed significantly now that it's had the chance to simmer for a few days. So, for this review I'm going to do something a bit different. I want to talk about my feelings while I was reading Ensnared versus how I feel now that I have had some time to think about the book as a whole.

While I was reading Ensnared, there were moments when I wasn't really feeling the book. To be honest, I believe it had more to do with what was going on in my life than the book itself. There was a bit of a disconnect. I wanted to keep reading and I was enjoying it, but I wasn't feeling it. Hopefully that makes sense. I found myself almost speed-reading through some passages. Not wanting to miss anything for my review, I marked the pages that I sort of zoomed through to go back to later. When I did go back a few days later, I actually enjoyed most of those passages more the second time around.

After I finished Ensnared and was able to let it sink in a bit, I started to develop new feelings towards it. This book was not at all what I was expecting. I've never read one of J.S. Scott's books before so I haven't experienced her writing style before Ensnared. I loved the combination of sweet and sexy in the book. Eli spends a great deal of time pursuing and getting to know Jade while his walls begin to crumble. The moments where Eli wanted to protect Jade from harm were so freaking sweet. Don't underestimate him, though. Eli's ulterior motives were less than innocent. Those moments were sexy as hell. As for Jade, well, I just wanted to be her friend. Their journey together was amazing. Both grew as individuals before finally falling into bed and I loved that element of their romance.

Hopefully I haven't lost you yet...

While I did enjoy reading Ensnared, I think I would have liked it more if I was in a better place while reading it. My heart and my head were in two different places and I think that factored in the disconnection I felt. Once I finished it and the book sunk in, my opinions changed. I don't often mention stars on my blog, but my Goodreads rating for Ensnared would be roughly 3.75 stars (rounded up to 4). I will definitely give the 2nd book a shot when it comes out and I'm looking forward to it.

I am so excited for this new series about more Sinclairs. This book is about Jade Sinclair who has just completed her degree on wildlife conservation. She, her twin sister, and her 4 brothers recently discovered that they are half siblings of the very rich Sinclairs on the East Coast. Jade doesn't know what to do with her change in financial status and is pretty much overwhelmed by everything. Jade and her siblings grew up struggling with finances so this change is just so big for her.

Jade's first meeting with Eli Stone didn't go as she had planned. She wanted to purchase a piece of land from Eli. Eli in turn wants Jade so that was the end of that. However, Eli continues to pursue Jade until he ends up being a student (the only student since he booked the entire class) in Jade's wilderness survival class. They come to an "arrangement" where Eli teaches Jade how to be a billionaire and Jade enjoys some adventures with Eli.

Jade and Eli are just the perfect couple since they have so many of the same interests. However, their past relationships has an impact on their current arrangement. And even though feelings were not to be involved, it always does get involved. Eli and Jade must decide if they can/deserved to take a risk in life involving their emotions!

I can't wait for the next Sinclair books to find out what will happen with each of the Sinclair brothers!
