An absolute delight to read. So we return to Wynthorpe Hall in Wynbridge to revisit some old friends and meet some new. This book is written in such a way, that it can be read as a stand alone. But quite frankly.. don't. The books to date should be on your books to read pile. This book has a lovely balanced mix of humour, tears, laughter, friendships and romance. You are drawn into the lives of the characters and feel part of the story. I cant wait to read more about the Wynbridge folk. Thank you to netgalley, the publishers and Heidi Swain for the opportunity to read a copy of this book.

Really awesome book, most romance stories are predictable in some way or another but this one wasn't, and I'm glad for that as it was a beautiful story. I love Christmas books and this one was soo good. I will definitely research this author more following this book.
Snow and everything you associate with winter and Christmas are perfectly summed up in this book, I would love a follow up to tie off a few loose ends with hayleys mum etc

I was fortunate enough to receive a preview copy of this book from Netgalley.
This book takes readers back to Wynthorpe Hall, where we are reunited with the Connelly family, and introduced to Gabe, as he takes up residence, and helps to organise the Christmas event Winter Wonderland. Although this book features characters who appear in previous books by Heidi Swain, it can be read as a Stand alone book.
Heidi Swain is very good at drawing the reader in to the life of the Characters, and making you feel like you know them, and care about what happens to them. It is a book that you want to keep reading, to see what happens and if there is a happy ending.
The book is very festive with the descriptions of the Christmas event. The excitement of Angus Connelly, the head of the household, is shared by the reader, and makes you feel festive and happy. This is definitely a book which put you in a festive mood, and makes you feel warm and cosy. It's a book which makes you want to curl up and immerse yourself in when it's cold outside.
I would highly recommend this book as a lovely Christmas read.

Let me start by saying I’ve never read a Heidi Swain book before but after reading Snowflakes and Cinnamon swirls at the winter wonderland, I want to read all of them.! This is a lovely Christmas story set at wynthorpe Hall, it has it all romance, betrayal and of course everything that’s great about the festive season.
Housekeeper Hayley is nursing a broken heart after very publicly discovering her fiancé Gavin cheating on her. Little does she know a handsome stranger is about to come to her rescue and turn her world upside down. Her very own angel Gabriel.
Gabe has come to wynthorpe Hall to help his long term friend Jamie (the son of the current owners Angus and Catherine) set up the halls very first winter wonderland. Moving into the gatekeepers cottage on the estate,Gabe is nursing his own heartache and trying to escape facing a past secret that he believes will prevent him from ever being happy again.
As Hayley and Gabe begin to work together more and trust in each other, opening up about their pasts will romance blossom?
This is a truly wonderful story that makes you feel all Christmassy, it features a cast of lovely, wonderful, eccentric characters who make up the wynthorpe Hall staff and owners who to each other are family.
If you only read one Christmas book this season make it this one.

I have read all Heidi Swains Previous books and this one didn’t fail to make me smile.

We return to Wynbridge where we see all our favourite characters. We meet Hayley who like others came to Wynbridge Hall after a few unexpected turns in life. Like previous residents Hayley settles into life at the Hall and realised family isn’t always made up from those whom share DNA. Hayley like many others find out that life at Wynbridge Hall is where she is supposed to be.

Newcomer Gabe has come to work, live and heal at Wynbridge Hall thanks to his friend Jamie the eldest son of the Connellys.

Can Wynbridge Hall help heal old wounds?

Another fantastic read, I love a book that you can really melt into, a book that makes you feel emotions as if you were right there too. This did exactly that! Added bonus is characters from previous books about the tales of Wynbridge make an appearance. I like that even if you have not read any of Heidi Swains previous books you will still love this and can read it as part of the collection but also as a single one off. But I can bet you’ll want to read the rest of Heidi’s books.

Another beautiful book by the oh so talented Heidi Swain.

“Snowflakes and cinnamon swirls at the winter wonderland” is the perfect book to get you into the Christmas spirit. I was thrilled to make a return visit to the glorious Wynthorpe Hall, and this book is written with so much detail that I can picture myself sitting at the large kitchen table along with the tenants, and can almost feel the healing powers that this beautiful stately home has to offer to all that reside there.

The message of hope that runs through this story is wonderful, and shows what can happen when you open your heart to a brighter future.

The main characters, Hayley and Gabe have to learn to leave their pasts behind them, realising that they do deserve happiness, even if the journey it takes to get there might not be an easy one.

An easy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars awarded to this truly magnificent book

Last Christmas I was transported to Wynthorpe Hall in Sleigh Rides and Silver Bells at The Christmas Fair.  I was introduced to Angus and Catherine, owners of the hall.

Jamie, Archie and Christopher are their sons.

The Hall is a magnet for gathering waifs and strays into their family fold which is how Anna was introduced in the first novel But we also have the cook Dorothy; handyman Mike; local wise lady Molly and cleaner come general factotum Hayley.

So that is the setting, the place and the characters. This novel introduces another visitor to the Hall, Gabe who comes to help Jamie with his outdoor adventure scheme which he has started to help children that have perhaps not had the best start in life.

Gabe soon fits into the ways of the hall but his first meeting is when he literally bumps into Hayley as she goes to investigate where her fiance has disappeared to and who with on the night of their engagement party.

The results are as you would expect and Gabe, ironically short for Gabriel is the angel that saves her.

Hayley swears off all men and ever finding that one true honest love and goes back to her acerbic and strong-willed ways. Gabe seems to get under her skin though and just as she thinks perhaps life maybe different, he retreats. Every time it is further and until Hayley is forced to give up and her head is turned back to the past.

In the meantime, building on the success of last years sleigh rides - Angus wants to open a Winter Wonderland and he needs everyone on board family or otherwise for it to work. Hayley and Gabe are push together again but it seems that Hayley's talents might lie elsewhere.

Will the Winter Wonderland work? And will Hayley and Gabe sort out whatever it is they keep falling out over?

Heidi Swain in my opinion has done it again in drawing you into a story which of course has a romantic plot line but has so much else going on as well. She manages to make sure all the characters are well-rounded and have depth, even if they are minor and I am as much intrigued by Dorothy and Molly as I was delighted to be able to catch up with Anna and Jamie.

You can read this as a stand alone novel, but to be honest if you want to get a complete feel for the setting, the characters, and of course Christmas then I highly recommend going back and reading Sleigh Rides and Silver Bells.

An excellent Christmas read and if your Christmas is normally wet, grey and miserable this is a sure-fire way of immersing yourself in a Christmas that can exist!

Hayley is celebrating her engagement to Gavin until she finds him messing around with another woman at their engagement party and calls the engagement off. Hayley decides from now on love is off the table and she’ll remain single forever. With Hayley’s home life being less than ideal, she moves into Wynthrope Hall, her place of work, after being offered a place to stay by the owners.

Gabe has also arrived at the hall, seeking peace and quiet after a turbulent time in his life. As Hayley and Gabe become friends and the preparations for the Winter Wonderland begin, could Hayley and Gabe find their friendship turning into something more?

An easy entertaining read, it was nice to see characters from previous books throughout the story. An enjoyable seasonable tale.

A real treat for fans of the Wynthorpe Clan. I just loved it, the story flows gently and is full of unforgettable new and old characters. A Christmas tale which guarantees the ahh factor. Love and romance in abundance. This time it’s Hayley’s story. She’s finally found her happy ending with Gavin or has she? Why has Gabe come to Wynthrope Hall? I don’t want to say any more about the story in case I spoil it for everyone. The author has a talent for drawing you in to the story, you don’t just read about the characters you become them. I need more.........

I was lucky enough to be given the chance to read this book courtesy of Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Reading a Christmas novel in August is a relatively new thing for me but it certainly makes me feel Christmassy!

The story returns to Wynbridge, and to Wynthorpe Hall, where the focus in this book is on the housekeeper Hayley, who becomes a resident of Wynthorpe Hall following her disastrous engagement party to the 'scorching scaffolder' Gavin. At the end of her party, Hayley was no longer engaged, and Gavin had cake on his face!

Hayley meets and falls for the newest employee at the Hall, Gabe, a gorgeous strapping lumberjack with a deep, dark secret he is unwilling to share with anyone. In spite of terrible timing, with Hayley still recovering from the realisation that her fiance was everything her friends thought he was, and Gabe burdened by something which left him feeling unable to accept happiness and love into his life, they find themselves constantly drawn to one another, and then pulling away. Will they find the love and happiness they need with one another? You need to read this book to find out!

I've loved reading this book, it's such a feel-good, warm tale filled with cinnamon, mulled wine, snow, and even the odd reindeer! It left me wanting to sit in front of a roaring fire, with a cinnamon candle, and a Christmas tree twinkling in the corner. The perfect antidote to the nights drawing in as we head rapidly towards Christmas. I will be buying this book on publication date, and hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did.

I have loved all of Heidi's books so far and she certainly hasn't let me down this time it's simply fantastic you are hooked from the first page and just don't want to put it down. The characters are great and you just want to keep reading to see what happens. The setting is amazing and a perfect Christmas read to curl up to on a cold day. Full of heartbreak, romance and secrets and moving forward so you are happy. Also very heartwarming to read and he story plot is just amazing well written.
Hayley is engaged and while out at her engagement party she discovers he's been cheating on her and she really doesn't want to go home. She moves into Wynthorpe hall where she has been a house keep all her working life after an upset of loosing a baby early on in pregnancy and they treat her like family and ask her to move on after her split. Her home life has been very difficult and she thought she was doing her mum a favour by staying but she hasn't. She wants to forget her past and just concentrate on work but when new heartthrob Gabe turns up at Wynthorpe hall to work can they keep away from each other. They are all organising a winter wonderland up at the hall with lovely snowflakes and animals but can Gabe and Hayley keep away from each other and can they both move forward from their past or not Gabe has a very difficult past to over come and he really doesn't think he can or should be happy again but does Hayley help him with this. Can the winter wonderland be a success and romance blossom or not.
A simply brilliant read didn't want it to end at all.

It was wonderful to be back in Wynbridge with familiar characters.
Set at THE BEST time of the year, this book was like a warm hug. Great to read about Hayley and how she came to be taken under the wing of the lovely Angus and Catherine. I laughed at the word I truly hadn't expected to read and shed a few tears as the stories of Hayley and Gabe began to unfold.
Heidi really has a way of creating such wonderful characters and I love the way that familiar names crop up throughout the book.
I feel very lucky to have been selected to read this before release.
I truly didn't want this to end.
