What a wonderful book. I loved the characters and the setting. The story flowed really well and I loved the way all the characters were so interesting. It was like being amongst friends.
This was my first RaeAnne Thayne and I have since gone on to buy more books in this series.
Would definitely recommend this book and the series.

I would like to thank Mills and Boon for letting me review this book on NetGalley. Such a treat to read a new author and one I have heard a lot about and all good things.
RaeAnne Thayne came into my world through a social media post by Sarah Morgan, who had read the book and loved it. This was enough for me to want to read it without even reading the blurb, but once I had I was excited to begin reading straight away.
I was not disappointed at all. A lovely written story that envelopes you into all the drama that happens for poor Eliza from the start. This is a read that you will have to make sure you have a lot of time for as it is very hard to put down. With her life very much in smoke Eliza ends up staying in what can only be described as the most romantic setting ever, that is owned by a very handsome owner. However, they both have had there hearts broken before and a romance at Christmas is not something wither have bargained for.
RaeAnne Thayne is defiantly up there on my favourite author list after this read. It has that Sarah Morgan vibe about it that I love but is written differently so it is set apart from what had come before it.

A lovely small town, festive romance with some characters from a well-established series. I haven't read the other series, but I still enjoyed this book.

The story is emotional with a simple plot, perfect for Christmas romance. The characters are realistic and easy to empathise and the setting is a small town at a festive time of year.

I received a copy of this book from Mills&Boon via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

An alright read, but nothing new and I could feel my attention wane when reading it. I liked the main characters, but she was quite annoying with her prejudice and her reasoning felt strained and unnecessary to me. I liked Aiden a lot which is why Eliza's attitude rubbed me the wrong way a lot so I think that could've been managed a lot better.
I overall enjoyed it.

Eliza was looking for a new life with her daughter after her husband died. She moved job and town for that new life. The day she was meant to start that life is the day her life turned upside down. She got ran over by the guy (Aidan) she blamed for her husbands' death and she lost the job she was hoping will be the beginning of a new chapter in her life. All in the same day. Aidan offered her a place and a temporary job through out the holiday season. From working with him she fell in love with Aidan.

I’m a huge fan of romance novels and Christmas - so this kind of book is like perfection all wrapped up in a bow. And that gorgeous, Christmassy cover doesn’t hurt, either!

However, two things that I tend to avoid in romance books are children, and widows or widowers. So at first, I felt that perhaps this wasn’t going to be a book for me after all. But little Maddie stole my child-averse little heart. She was cute and sweet, without being a stereotyped caricature. And her imaginary horse, Bob - loved him, too!

As for the fact that Eliza is a young widow…part of my concern over that was dispelled simply because Eliza is such a rich, warm character - you can’t help but love her. She’s feisty and independent but with that sweet personality that makes her the perfect Christmas heroine. The other part of the widow thing was dispelled as Eliza didn’t hate her ex but you could tell he wasn’t her happily ever after. And while that’s perhaps not real life - it’s definitely the way I prefer it!

Aiden was, in Eliza’s words, a geek God. He was sexy, focussed and a workaholic but he was so in need of the love of a good woman. And the fact that he wears glasses and has sexy, ruffled hair…oh boy!

The romance between the pair was sweet and steady. There was kissing and a few thoughts of sex - but no doing of the deed. Normally I’m always hankering for more sex in books, but this book felt so magical and sweet - I don’t think that sex would have been right, if I’m honest. It was still clear that Eliza and Aiden were perfect for each other and I felt like cheering when they got their happily ever after.

I normally complain that Christmas books are just normal romances transplanted into December without any of the magic and wonder of Christmas; not so this book. There’s snow, there’s baking, there’s a tree and family, roaring fires, hot chocolate and cosy socks. It just oozes Christmas and really gives you the feeling of the season.

From all the chat of the family members arriving at Snow Angel Cove for Christmas, I gather that this book might be part of a much larger series. There wasn’t enough interaction with the other couples to make me want to read the earlier books in the series - but I will look out for future books. Either way, this story still stands nicely alone.

My one complaint is a huge bugbear of mine. Epilogue. If any story was crying out for an epilogue then this was it. I wanted to see Aiden, Eliza and little Maddie (and Bob) in a year’s time. At Christmas. I wanted to see how they were, dammit. Dear authors - please write epilogues!

Having said that, this was still a magically sweet story that snuggles you in Christmas spirit no matter what time of year. It’s a book I very much enjoyed and one I would recommend. 4 stars.

I really enjoyed reading this romance. The story unravels slowly to show us what connections draw Eliza and Aidan together. The characters are wonderfully warm and full of festive cheer as love blossoms. Unfortunate events lead to our main characters meeting and Eliza's daughter, Maddie helps connects childlike wonder to modern cynacism. Overall, a hearth-warming tale to enjoy over the upcoming holiday season. #SnowAngelCove #NetGalley #MillsandBoonInsiders

Snow Angel Cove.
I absolutely LOVED this story. It was utterly heart-warming, and I couldn't put it down. There were lovely characters and the background was so well described, I even came to love the town where the story was set and the people who lived there. The characters back stories were interesting and well written and the 'conflict' between the main characters wasn’t too overwritten as can sometimes happen. All in all, the book is a wonderful feel good, relaxing read.

Just gorgeous, the perfect pre-Christmas read. It is simply written but with good depth in characterisation, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a novel to read under a blanket while drinking hot chocolate. I am a huge Debbie Macomber fan and would not hesitate to recommend it to other DB fans.

Snow Angel Cove.
LOVED this story. So heart-warming. Lovely characters and a sweet backdrop – loved the town where the story was set and its people. The back stories of the characters were interesting and there was a nice sense of conflict that wasn’t overbearing. A brilliant wintry, Christmas read. I like this author, will look out for more of her work.

Snow Angel Cove is published by Mills and Boon, the author is RaeAnne Thayne. The book is the first in the Haven Point series and is supposed to be a feel good, uplifting, Christmassy romance set in a small town, Haven Point.

Haven Point is a small town with big suprises and the town certainly provides some big suprises, a few not welcoming ones, for Eliza Gawood when she moves there with her little daughter Maddie, to take up her new job running a guest house. Unfortunately for them the fuest house is burning down as they arrive and then Eliza gets knocked down by Aiden Caine, who has just purchased half of Snow Angel Cove. Aiden is a geeky yet handsome multi millionaire who has built his fortune developing Apps. Eliza and Maddie stay with Aiden over Christmas whilst she regroups and decides what to do next. Eliza is a widow whose husband left in a lot of debt and an ill child. He had been trying to pick his tech ideas to Aiden'z firm just before he got drunk and crashed. Aiden is recovering from a non malignant brain tumour that he does not want his family to know about. Nevertheless the pair of them get closer over the Christmas period, taking time to get to know each other but will they be able to overcome all these obstacles?

The book isn't your natural Christmas sparkly chirpy romance. Both of the main characters have obstacles and issues to countend with which the author combines very well without the storyline becoming cluttered and handles gently. It doesn't have "Dare" levels of sex scenes or bad language but is more of a family based romance. I enjoyed it but probably wouldnt reread it.

At the end of her tether, and her resources, Eliza arrives for an exciting new job in a small town where she feels she could put down roots, only to find that it has, literally, gone up in smoke. This would surely be enough for anyone but, in rescuing her daughter, Eliza is run down. Out on her luck, and her money, her hero appears. An unexpected meeting with a truly romantic ending.
A good book to curl up with on a cool autumn day!

Snow Angel Cove is the first book in the Haven Point series by RaeAnne Thayne.

It's set at Christmas time in the beautiful town of Haven Point where Aidan Caine has bought half of the town including the beautiful property that is Snow Angel Cove. He's a high powered businessman who made his money in computers/apps and has worked too hard for too long. Forced to take a long hard look at his life and a rest, he plans on bringing his whole family to the cove for Christmas.

Eliza Hayward is a widow with a young daughter. She is moving to Haven Point where she is taking on a new job with accommodation running a lovely bed and breakfast. Unfortunately, she arrives in town to find the bed and breakfast gone up in smoke along with her hopes for a new start. To add insult to injury she ends up being knocked down by a car that has slipped on a patch of ice. The car being driven by none other than Aidan Caine.

Thankfully Eliza ends up with only a concussion and a few scrapes, but without having anywhere to go and with her daughter to look after she has no other choice than to accept help from Aidan. He offers to let them stay overnight at his house. From the start, despite the circumstances, there is an instant attraction between them, one that Eliza doesn't want for reasons that will become clear later in the book.

With his family coming to stay for Christmas, Aidan offers Eliza a job helping out his housekeeper getting the house ready for their stay and looking after them during that stay. It helps ease his conscience for running into her, and he also wants to give her time to heal and look for other work and a place to stay without running into hardship for herself and her daughter in the meantime.

Spending time together allows them to find out more about each other and what they find out they like. Aidan finds himself realising that there is more to life than work, and Eliza realises that she could easily fall for Aidan despite very much not wanting to. Can they have a future together, or do they have too many obstacles to overcome?

This book was an absolute delight to read. I fell in love with its characters, the place, just everything. Eliza's daughter is such a darling, and her part in the book had me smiling so much. Aidan and Eliza were so perfect for each other, I couldn't wait for them to realise it themselves. I loved the housekeeper and her husband. I loved the small town feel, just like in Gilmore Girls. Everybody knows everybody and looks out for each other, and god forbid if you do something to hurt one of their own! The author's description of Christmas made me want to get out the mulled wine and put some Christmas carols on, how I wish it was December right now! This was a true feel-good story which I loved from beginning to end and wholeheartedly recommend!

RaeAnne Thayne is a new to me Author. One who I will be on the look out for more of her books.
Snow Angel Cove is an enjoyable festive read. Eliza has come to Haven Point with her little girl for a fresh start. Only to find her new job is up in flames. Now what is she going to do? The day only goes from bad to worse when she is hit by a car. Aidan has recently moved to Haven Point after recuperating from a brain tumor. He feels really badly for hitting Eliza with his car. After hearing about Eliza's job going up in flames. He offers her a job getting his house ready for his large family to come and stay for Christmas. Eliza's daughter Maddie is adorable with her imaginary horse friend. Aidan is a really nice guy and its easy to see he adores both Eliza and her daughter. The author did a fantastic job describing the scenery I really could imagine myself being there. Aiden's family are an interesting bunch, cant wait to read their stories. I highly recommend you pick up a copy and come spend some time at Snow Angel Cove. ARC received as part of Mills & Boon insiders and net galley. In exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

As bad days go....arriving to start your new job, only to find out it’s gone up in flames...literally...then getting run over by a tech ceo and taken to hospital ...Eliza is definitely having one. So when said CEO Adrian offers her and her daughter a place to recover, she reluctantly agrees. She knows who he is and has reason to dislike him, but what she doesn’t know Is Adrian is recovering as well.

The scenery was gorgeous and Eliza’s daughter Maddie steals every scene she is in, it’s a wonderful story that I recommend to anyone that loves happy endings...BONUS...to find out this is book one in a series that already has sequels out...bring on the next one ☝️

Romantically emotional, at times heart endearingly tender, feel good story, with touching family closeness and drama.

Lovely and festive romance.
Eliza is not having a good day - the place she was supposed to be living and working has burnt down and now she has been run over. The last thing she wants to do is accept help from Aiden Caine but she has no choice. Eliza and her daughter Maddie end up staying with Aiden in his big new house, and helping him look after his family over christmas - but they are starting to fall for each other despite their best intentions.

I don't know if this is a series, but I would love to read the stories of the rest of Aiden's siblings!

Sweet, family-focussed and festive, Snow Angel Cove introduces us to a small town and a couple whose happy ever after has a real Hallmark feel.

“You’re like a fairy-tale prince and I’m Cinderella without the godmother and the cool shoes.”

What struck me with this story was how natural Eliza and Aidan were together with nothing feeling rushed about their relationship, simply two people meeting under less than ideal circumstances and getting to know one another. But it’s not only Eliza who stole Aiden’s heart, but her four-year old daughter who brought a serious dose of cuteness.

“She had hoped to give her daughter a memorable Christmas but this one might turn out to be more amazing than she had ever imagined.”

Definitely what I’d term an easy-read palate-cleanser and perfect for curling up by the fire with as we head towards the festive period.
