Very easy to read and kept me wanting to know more about what was going to happen between Aaron and Jordan. I also found by adding Troy as someone who wanted to be with Aaron and was also trying to kill his husband as something that really intensified the book and I really enjoyed.

Glad to have read this and I can't wait to read more by Liz

This was more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Sometimes unbelievable, other times totally believable. My distrust of higher leverl government had me thinking I believed everything they went through was something a lot of people might actually have to endure.

Aaron and Jordan have a strong connection that works well for them when Jordan's on a mission. The person responsible for all the bad things happening, not just to Aaron and Jordan, but to so many other military families, is spotted early on and it's super predictable. His agressive persuit of Aaron makes him even creepier, especially since that persuit starts way before Jordan is in deep shit. The dude is gross, so when he gets what he deserves, I could not have been happier.

This was my first Liz Borino and it won't be my last. I picked this book on its synopsis, and after reading I was pleasantly surprised with the story and the writing.

Aaron "Angel" Collins is a CIA agent and is married to Jordan Collins whom is part of the military. Often the two will work together but suddenly Angel is pulled off the mission causing his senses to tingle.

While Jordan is away a new superior comes into play and tries to interweave himself into Angel's life. Troy Hart is the key to everything but Angel can't see it clearly once he gets devastating news. But while Angel is trying to wade through the news then his intuition starts pinging and the more he's desperate to get the truth.

It was sweet and suspenseful. I quite liked it and will read more from this author.

This book was hard to get into at first, but once I was to get into the book I really enjoyed it. The book follows Jordan and Aaron’s love for each other. There were moments that were predictable, but others where you have no idea what is about to happen. Adding in Angel as the third person in the mix, things become a bit challenging and you’re able to see the true raw emotions that each character felt for one another.

I received this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. I would recommend this to anyone seeking a new thrilling love story book. I took a chance on reading this book and was not disappointed.

Angel’s Intuition by Liz Borino

This M/M romance tells of two strong men who meet, fall in love and are separated for a time due to the capture and torture of Jordan. Aaron is unwilling to believe his partner is gone and when he eventually returns the two work together to uncover a traitor in their midst.

The story flips between the past and the present and for me that was perhaps not as effective as a straight timeline would have been. I found the story difficult to believe and could not find the true motivation for the bad guy doing what he did. I believe that this book has potential but wanted more…more about Jordan and Aaron and more about the bad guy and his motivation and more about the man in charge in Afghanistan.

Did I enjoy this book? Kind of

Thank you to NetGalley and Nine Star Press for the ARC – This is my honest review.

3.5 stars. Overall I did enjoy the book but, I had some issues. The first being, it was so glaring, at least to me, that Troy was up to no good. The second was, I didn't think it was that believable that Jordan as sick and injured as he was, would have made it home and I mean all the way to his house. His ankle was fracture numerous times & he was basically dieing from pneumonia. But I did enjoy the love these two had for each other & the fact that Aaron never gave up hope that his husband was still alive. Aaron's dad was a nasty SOB & stepped way over the line. Jordan's dad assuming that Aaron was having an affair was ridiculous. I did enjoy the "investigation" that they did to try to get the evidence they needed to bring down Troy. I was absolutely satisfied with how it all came to an end.

This story was sweet and intense. The love that Jordan and Aaron had for each other was so real. The story was easy to read with some intense moments. Love the fact that Angel didn't give up on his husband.
