Due to a passing in the family a few years ago and my subsequent health issues stemming from that, I was unable to download this book in time to review it before it was archived as I did not visit this site for years after the bereavement. Thank you for the opportunity.

I must confess that I found this book a litte too dry for me. However saying that the book does have easy to follow strategies that were written in a simple format.

Maybe the book wasn't for me but others will certainly enjoy Boost Your IQ.

Thank you to NetGalley, Watkins Publishing and Ron Bracey for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Easy to follow strategies that were written in an easy to follow format. The author gave some great tips that do not require too much time or effort to use!

It was actually really informative. Though I was expecting the riddles and IQ boosting questions, there was information about Intelligent Quotient rather than those.

This book explains every aspect of IQ, and is very comprehensive for its size. The material is quite dry, so I would have preferred more visual aids.
I'm not an expert in these matters, but the chapter on glucose is definitely all wrong.
At the end of the book are some interesting examples of the changes we have to cope with, like not needing to remember so much as we always have the internet, and the importance of finding sources for information.

I started this book thinking that it would be like all the other books about increasing your mental abilities. Well, I was half right. It is a very quick book to read that teaches you precise techniques to learn each subject. I liked above all that the learning was beyond the typical techniques of memorization, that although there were, had a special way of approaching the reader, to make him understand that you have to work smarter, not harder. but mostly to know yourself, everyone learns in a different way, see that you feel better and be flexible.

3/5 just because I would have liked to see more exercises.
