Enjoyable, light read, perfect for a cold and rainy day; the reader cannot help but sympathize with every character.

Hmmm...this is a hard one. Technically, there wasn't anything wrong with this book. It hit all the romance check points: HEA, a little drama, humor, likable characters, etc. However, nothing really remarkable stood out to me. I read this and yet I can't think of anything that really, truly separates it from the millions of other books just like it.

All that being said, it was a pretty good book and if you don't mind more of the same or if you just want a book that passes the time and makes you feel good for a little while then, by all means, you'll probably like this book too. It's a very easy read and it fits the genre to a "T," literally.

Would I recommend this? Maybe...

I'm giving it a four star because, like I said, it's technically a great story....

This book is opened with conflict already. But the author weave the back story perfectly. At first I was going to glance a little on first pages, but it got me hooked and finally I finished this in 3 hours.

I really like the settings, the corny act and words, and also the characters. The main characters are human enough with flaws. The supporting characters are interesting as well. I wondered if the author would have the series starring the sisters of our main characters.

All in all the novel was worth to read.

Thank you netgalley for providing the arc in exchange of honest review

This is the perfect summer read by the poolside! It's fun and flirty, with the characters all really enjoyable. I'd never read anything by Tracy Corbett before, but now I'm heading straight to the library to get out all her other books. If you enjoy Holly Martin, you'll love this.

Is there ever a good reason to lie? Sometimes it's necessary to protect those you love. As with all of Tracy stories family is prominent. The fierce loyalty, love and compassion. A story of a young woman with a love of vintage clothing, art, baking and falling for untrustworthy men a weakness. You can't help but love every character. Beautifully descriptive and such a lovely fun light read.
