Madrid, Rio, & LA We’ve officially been around the world on Audrey’s rollercoaster- and quite frankly I don’t want to get off! All of our characters and plot are so intertwined, what I will say is this People you need to read these- the story is epic and her writing is simply unparalleled. It’s flawless in all ways, and it’s absolutrly enjoyable to all people!! The stalking picks back up in Madrid and my hackles were on high alert, Parker & Sky are strong and nothing is breaking their bond at this point. It continues in Rio- and although I guessed correctly, it was honestly something I didn’t focus on constantly. There are always SO many facets and angels to Audrey’s stories this was but one of them. I loved the gang getting bck stateside and thought LA was sweet and funny. The ending was truly amazing and I was laughing from being so overwhelmingly happy and also that it was over. I’m positive Audrey will give us more of these characters- but meanwhile I will be going back to reread and getting lost in her writing! |
Talk about a page turner....what a super hot story this turned out to be! Once I started, I couldn't put it down. I am not sure if the best part was the fact that a wide variety of characters (who I have come to adore) made their appearance or the fact that the love story between Parker and Skyler was near perfection! Themes of chasing your dreams, and love in many forms through various relationships made this book un-put-downable! This will be for fans of the International Guy series and those who have yet to read a single other installment. Highly recommend!!! I will be reading it again and recommending it to many. |

Omg!! This series was well written and highly addictive!! I loved how the characters introduced in each city continued to visit throughout the series. This author writes great books, she does research when it comes to the cities visited and the professions/jobs the characters have. The ending leaves you with many questions, so I'm hoping for more, but I always want more from my books, PLEASE!!! |
It took me a while to review this one because I had to go back and read the prior books. I did enjoy this series so far and might read further. |

I love this series. I can't get enough from this author. Great characters that will make you fall in love with their romance. |
I'm 100% gutted that this story is coming to an end. This entire series hooked me from the very first story and now that I have nothing left of SkyPark, i'm not sure what i'll do with myself. I can only hope that Audrey will work magic and make me fall in love with the stories for everyone else, like I did Skyler and Parker. |
I love this series! The guys are great & their business is awesome. It is fun to watch them while they are traveling around for their work & see the adventures that they go on. The chemistry is hot! I can't wait for more. |

AMAZING conclusion to a FANTASTIC series. Absolutely LOVED this book. In this installment we get the final 3 cities, find out who the stalker is and get to see a beautiful wedding. Parker and Sky get the hea that they definitely deserve. Sad to see their story end but I CAN'T wait to see were Audrey takes us with Bo's and Royce's stories. Thank you Audrey for another EPIC series that EVERYONE should read!! |
Audrey Carlan has done it again! International Guy was an all around phenomenal series and this volume was the perfect conclusion to something I never wanted to end! |

Book 10: Madrid Madrid is book 10 in the International Guy series. We continue on with Parker and Skyler’s love story, with the couple jetting off to Spain, this time along with Bo and their dogs. Before leaving, Tracey pays an unexpected visit to Skyler in Boston, hoping to spend time with her for a couple of weeks. To me, Skyler was unnecessarily bothered by the visit. Sure it was not planned in advance, but Tracey is supposed to be her BFF. Shouldn’t she be excited to see her? On to Madrid! The IG team helps a young singer gain her confidence, and I truly loved the message that was sent. To love yourself no matter what. The stalker resurfaces, sending messages to both Parker and Skyler, and a red herring of who the stalker might be is thrown into the story for drama. For me, all that did was make Parker look ridiculous. He was way over the top and was completely blinded by uninformed rage, tearing down people unnecessarily. Not cool. Looking forward to the official reveal of the stalker, hopefully in the next installment! Book 11: Rio Rio is book 11 in the International Guy series. This time, Parker and Royce, (and Skyler and their dogs 🙄) head to Brazil to help Paul’s boyfriend Dennis get to the bottom of who is embezzling from his family’s company. Dennis‘s family is unaccepting of his relationship with Paul, so they shun him when the gang comes to dinner. All is resolved and most of the family reconciles once the embezzler has been identified. The stalker is alsovidentified, and it really comes as no surprise who it is, but the reasons behind the stalking are intriguing. All in all, an okay book for me in this series, and I am curious to see how the series wraps up in the final installment in Los Angeles. Book 12: Los Angeles The International Guy series wraps up with book 12, which is set in Los Angeles. Parker and Royce find themselves as celebrity judges on a dating show, as well coaches for the male contestants. Skyler creates an elaborate plan to propose to Parker, but I feel like there was unnecessary drama associated with the proposal. For example, why did one of the female contestants have to be a Skyler look-alike? It was all a little convoluted and confusing. Parker does end up proposing to Schuyler at the very end of the book, and an epilogue shows their lives in the future. I struggled with most of this series, because as Parker and Skyler fell in love with each other I didn’t really connect with their characters, and I really didn’t feel the love. Also, I really feel at times Parker was unnecessarily mean to his friends and family and Skyler begin to take on some of these characteristics as well. Their love definitely did not make them better versions of themselves, unfortunately. As expected, there will be books for some of the secondary characters, and I plan on giving those a chance. I am really intrigued by Bo and Baylee’s story. |

WHAT A RIDE MADRID - LOVE, MYSTERY, ACTION! Another great adventure for International Guy! I love how Skylar joins Parker on this next job and is a great addition to the team. And the mystery and suspense that's been building in SkyPark's personal life escalates. :) RIO - FINALLY...MYSTERY IS REVEALED Love Rio! No IG business as SkyPark are laying low until they can get a handle on who is behind the stalking. Rio allows us to get to know more about Parker's brother and significant other (love those two). This installment finally concludes with LOTS of action and revelations! LOS ANGELES - BEAUTIFUL HEA Of course Audrey saved the best for last! Although all of the drama and stalker mystery has settled, this book includes great surprises for SkyPark and many of the other characters throughout the series. The secret mission of Skylar's is hilarious and the finale does not disappoint! |
4 International Stars Review by Lisa Late Night Support Group Up All Night w\ Books Blog We are off to see the world of Madrid, Rio and Los Angeles in International Guy number 4, which are books 10 through 12 in this series by Audrey Carlan. All I have to say is THANK GOD all three books were together because if I had to wait for each one to come out, I would have gone insane. With around 450 pages, you would think that it would take a while to read. Nope, I just zipped right through these pages because I was captivated and hooked from the start. These stories are action-packed, filled with romance that will make you swoon and heartbreak that make you want to cry. I did not read the previous books but I will be going back to read them. This book follows Skyler and Parker’s story. And what a story it is. Ups and downs, twists and turns not to mention a cliffhanger after the first book!!! The drama is kicked up ten-fold in these stories due to the suspense of the mysterious texts and letters that cause problems that eventually leads to some crazy chases and secret hiding spots which in turn, leads to more drama. One aspect that I loved about these stories is that it was just not Parker and Skyler, even though it was told from their dualing point of views. There were so many other stories that were being told, unraveled and put back together. The ending of the series is bittersweet. It brings a sense of satisfaction and will leave you smiling but also sad, much like saying goodbye to a friend you’ve left at the airport. **ARC received in exchange for an honest review*** |
Audrey Carlan is an author that is on my one-click list. I don’t need to read the description to know it’ll be a book that I’ll enjoy and International Guy is a series that has had it all for me. From drama and suspense to love and intimate scenes that nearly set the pages on fire. From humour and the bonds of friendship proving along the way that being family doesn’t necessarily mean sharing blood to more serious issues like animal vivisection for the testing of cosmetics to homophobia without over sensationalising them. This author also has the knack of creating characters that the reader wants to know more about. Does Geneva find her Mr Right? A small part of me had hoped that might have been Bo but now I think someone else might have called dibs on him. And what about Juliet? How is she coping being the world’s latest pop sensation? They are characters that we have come to care about throughout the series. Finally we get the vivid descriptions of the cities International Guy have visited which are better than any travel guide I’ve read and have added quite a few places to visit onto my bucket list. I’m sure this a series that I will be happy to re-read in the future. |
Exciting and gorgeous read with incredible countries as the backdrop for the sexy story of Parker and Skyler. Surprises, unsuspecting set backs and secrets abound as they set forth in each country. Can their love overdone all these changes and obstacles? You’ll have to read and find out what happens. Well written and well paced I thoroughly enjoyed the jet setting vibe of this read. |

This is the final book in the International Guy series. Parker, Bo and Royce own a business that is a bit unconventional. Each job is very unique. They are oftentimes building confidence in their client as well as helping with business issues. They have helped an actress find her her love for acting, a writer find her muse and heiress take control of her company as a few examples. The author has taken us on so many adventures through this story. She throws some major events into this final installment to make it the best yet. Vol 4 has some love, some heartbreak and some major surprises! I love the characters and hope that Audrey writes a spinoff so we can follow Bo and Royce into the future. |
International Guy Vol 4 starts off with a trip to Madrid, and I must admit that I was unsure whether I would finish this volume about 25% into this story. Once again the level of immaturity and ditziness of Skylar’s character left me frustrated and annoyed, not to mention the over use of the endearment “Honey”. I also wondered how a supposed smart and intelligent man could not see the very obviously clues to the stalker, right under his nose. I did persist however, and Rio was the saving grace for this volume. Some much-needed seriousness and the reintroduction of Paul and Denny, was a breath of freshness to what was quickly becoming a tedious read. Magnificent scenery described to perfection and the underlying danger and mystery (even though it really wasn’t a mystery by this stage as to who the stalker was) showcased what I would normally expect from this author’s writing. Los Angeles was merely a 100 plus page epilogue, that put the final touches on a too long story of one couple. Unlike Ms Carlan’s Calendar Girl serial, International Guy was always about Parker and Skylar, with a hint of personal issues about Royce and Bogart, that we never saw resolved. I was disappointed by this and while I’m eager to know their stories, and Ms Carlan has hinted at more to come, I worry that readers will be subjected to 1200 pages for each character. Let’s hope we just get a single novel called International Guy – Royce, and so on for any additional characters from this serial. My 3 Star Review is because of the Rio content. |
I can’t really say enough about these International Guy series. They are sexy, entertaining, and unique. You will not be disappointed with Madrid, Rio, Los Angeles. This combo is perfect! |
Well we've reached the end of Parker and Skyler's journey. And as much as I loved this series, I am glad. I think I was starting to suffer from series fatigue as I got to the end of this book. There have been lots of ups and downs throughout the whole series and I was so ready for their happily ever after. They deserved it dammit! Just like the volumes before it, this book takes place in three different cities and each city bring it's own brand of troubles. Skyler is still helping with Parker's cases because she is good at it, but also because it's necessary. Her stalker still hasn't been caught and things are getting worse. And maybe it's because I watch a lot of cop dramas, but I figured out the "who" pretty early. I didn't see the depth of the "why", so the big reveal still surprised me a bit. But just because Parker and Sklyer's story has reached it's HEA, that doesn't mean the rest of the crew has. The author dropped some serious breadcrumbs or in this case, loaves of bread, about Bo and Royce's love lives and I look forward to reading about these two charming bastards finally settling down. |
