I was really looking forward to this sequel having read Widows and it did not disappoint! Lynda La Plante does write as if it was planned for screen at some point which keeps the action pacy and the characters well written. The story line keeps attention up to the very end, with lots of surprises along the way. Makes me want to go and see the Widows film....! Thank you.

Widows Revenge is an excellent book and i loved going back in time to 1983 when i used to watch the tv drama Widows.Dolly and the girls pulled a job and head to rio to relax and contemplate their future,Dolly heads back to london and while she is away things start happening and Linda is beaten up and nearly drowns. She is rescued by Bella and her fiance they all return to Jose's home for safety. They send a telegram to Dolly to warn her and for her to move the money. As it seems Harry Rawlins is alive and after Dolly.I can highly recommend this book and it is worthy of 5*.
