A great compilation of the popular web comic. Our Super Adventure follows the life of Sarah and Stef, as well as their many cats. They cover topics of relationships, pets, videogames, and becoming adults.

I unfortunately was not able to read and review this book before the digital ecopy expired. The synopsis sounds great though, so I will be buying a copy of my own to read soon!

Cute and quirky book! Enjoyed reading it and would recommend to my friends. Loved every minute of it!

This is another one of those comic books about quirky couples.

When I started it, I found it cute and funny. However, the humour got old pretty quickly and the stuff that was actually good felt like a rehashing of stuff I’d already read.

I feel that this genre of comic book is overdone, I hope this trend dies off soon.

Rating: 2 stars

I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I'm pretty sure that this was written about my cats. Funnily illustrated, a very light and enjoyable read.

Join Sarah Graley and her partner Stef on their super adventure full of cartoon crushes, adulting, hunky boyfriends, tweeting about your butt, free wine, first-time farts, human blankets, emojis in business emails, and 4 cute cats. There are pizza and videogames too! Sounds like a good time to me!

I’m a huge fan of illustrators that share their life through comics, such as Cassandra Calin, Catana, Sarah Andersen, and other favorites. So, I knew I’d love Press Start to Begin. Plus, I was already familiar with Sarah’s comics on social media.

You can tell how much hard work, love, and laughs Sarah and Stef have put into this book. Press Start To Begin is a light-hearted and quick read with quirky humor, adorable illustrations, relatable stories, and a couple that’s totally #CoupleGoals. Although, I wish there were fewer fart jokes. Without a doubt, I give Press Start To Begin 4 out of 5 stars. If you've enjoyed webcomics in the past about real life, relationships, and the ups and downs of adulting, you’ll want to join Sarah and Stef on their super adventure!

For my full review, check out my blog! The review includes a bunch of my favorite comics from the book which I’ve compiled together. As well as my thoughts on why this hilarious and totally relatable graphic novel about love and life is worth the read!

This is a cute comedic comic about the daily lives of a couple and their cuuute cats. It's a very quick read and all of the comics are like a 4-koma manga format. I'm giving this 3 stars just because I don't know the authors and I've never heard of them (I requested this book because the art looked cute and fun) and I feel like sometimes I wasn't "in" on the joke. The comics are still enjoyable, but I feel like I missed a level of connection to the work.

If you are a cat lover, pizza eater, relationship haver, or just a weirdo in the world this is the book for you. The drawings are super cute, the panels are delightful. Feel free to dip in and out or read this all in one sitting. Either way it will put a smile on your face.

I'll start with the good: The illustrations were consistent throughout the book and told of the little quirks of the author's relationship with her partner and her cats. Some of the comics were humourous and I could relate to them when thinking of my own relationship.

The cons: There were a lot of fart and poop references, which are not my kind of humour. there were also a lot of jokes about cats that I couldn't relate to because I've never had or desired to have a cat.

I don't think I was really the intended audience for this book, and I'm sure that those with a different sense of humour would get more out of it.

This graphic novel features the daily lives of Sarah, Stef and their four cats.
I absolutely loved the art style, it was simple yet colorful.
The strips were cute and hilarious. Also, the book featured a lot of cats, which was great!
I recommend it.

This just wasn't for me. There's nothing objectively wrong with the book, it just didn't appeal to me. The jokes fell kind of flat and the artwork wasn't intriguing enough to hold my interest. It felt like a book that must be great for its intended audience, but, apparently, that does not include me. I want to be more specific, but I feel so absolutely non-committal about this book that I don't really have anything to say. It wasn't offensive or horrible, just not for me.

Our Super Adventure is a cute diary comic about the author's relationship with her body, her partner and her five cats, and I'm going to be honest with you: I was not expecting this many fart jokes. Which is fair enough – there are a lot of comics in this collection that are just sweet or silly, and some where I went "Oh hey, my partner and I do that!" and the fart jokes probably balance it all out, I was just... Not expecting that. The art style is cartoony and cute, and I really liked that she included some direct redraws to compare and contrast her old art style with her new one. If you want to check it out before you decide whether to pick it up or not, it is from the webcomic of the same name – I can't say advise you on that one because I feel about it the same way I do as Sarah C. Andersen's work – I would follow this on twitter and retweet that sweet relatable content, but I don't know if I'd ever deliberately seek it out in hardcopy.

This is a nice set of comics about the quirky real-life adventures of the author, her significant other and their 4 kitties. Since I wasn't already familiar with this comic series I was a little confused by the changing hairstyles and looks of the main character and I was hoping for more focus on cat interactions. I'm sure existing fans of this author will be excited to buy this collection of silly comics though!

This was an adorable collection of comics that really portray what a long term relationship is like. It is not always pretty but it is always loving. Very cute overall I loved reading this title.

I'm a long time fan of Our Super Adventure, so I've been pumped to read this collection. It actually managed to include several I have never seen and many I haven't seen in a long time. I love going through these, especially since they remind me so much of my own relationship.

Definitely recommended for all fans of the webcomic!

Our Super Adventure is a cute, funny, slice of life comics for adults. I love the cartoony style mixed with the real life situations. The diary approach brings a bit of nostalgia into the mix for me, and likely will for many other 20/30 somethings. The things that happen in the comics are sometimes slightly mundane, but it's so charming and adorable that you want to keep reading.

I've always loved Sarah's webcomics, but this collection was the best of the best and I seriously laughed so hard through the entire book. Sarah and Stef remind me SO much of myself and my spouse, and I literally was just making my poor spouse look at so many of these comics like, "Look! It's us!" If you can't relate to the way these two act around each other, you might not find it as hilarious as I did, but I honestly think anyone will be able to find something to love here.

Sarah Graley is a British cartoonist who writes and draws about her life (and other stuff), including her love of video games, her partner Stef, and their four cats. If you’re looking for comics that celebrate pizza, felines, being silly with your significant other, and still more pizza, check out this Oni Press publication of comics you may have seen and enjoyed online–now in handy book form. This fun collection of comics celebrates love, cats, and the struggles inherent to both, including the terrible trial of wanting a snack when you have a cat in your lap.

This book was a fun read, but to be honest, I could not relate at all. I'm in a relationship and we do have some weird habits, but the things from this book were honestly next level. The reason why I still gave it two stars is because I liked the art style.

I really enjoyed these and found them super relatable. These were silly and fun and I can definitely see why they're popular. I'm excited to check out more of Sarah Graley's work because I really loved her art. Once again, Oni Press has the best books!
