Having read and enjoyed the 'Tell Me No Lies ' by Lisa Hall, I am looking forward to this book.

I am happy to say that the book didn't disappoint.

Once again Lisa Hall has created a collection of characters, which is eclectic and well crafted.

I need to be careful not to spoil the plot, which centres around the disappearance of a young girl at a fireworks display.

Very soon it becomes clear that Anna, the nanny has something unusual in her background.

As the search for Laurel, the child progresses, the suspicion shifts from person to person.

Suffice to say that the novel has an interesting conclusion.

If you like a fast moving crime thriller, with as many twists and turns as the maze at Hampton Court, this is worth considering.

My thanks to Netgalley and HQ books for a copy in exchange for this review.

Have You Seen Her is a fast paced edge of your seat thriller. I couldn't stop picking the book up whenever I had a minute. Will be looking out for more of the authors writing.

3.5 stars. I hate to say I was slightly disappointed with this book especially compared to the authors other works which I have loved. I just couldn’t relate to any of the characters, not particularly liking them. Plus the plot was a bit long drawn out and didn’t keep my attention.

Almost didnt request this due to missing child scenario. So glad I did though, as this novel gives an interesting slant on the tired formula. I advise readers to give this book a fair chance. Nothing is as it seems. Intricate plot webbing.

Anna, a trained nanny, employed by Fran and Dominic Jessop to look after their young daughter, Laurel, faces an horrific situation when the child goes missing during a school bonfire party. When the police and press become involved it is apparent that Anna has a past which involved the loss of another young child in her care, something that she has never disclosed to her current employers and endeavours to keep from the police and the press. Fran and Dominic's marriage is full of friction with Fran constantly complaining that his work as a surgeon keeps him away from her and Laurel too much - or is he having affairs? When door to door enquiries are made a witness declares that the child was seen getting into a car similar to Dominic's, and after another incriminating piece of evidence is handed over to the Police by Anna the finger is definitely pointing at him - or should it be?? This a real chilling page turner with a glorious twist in the tail.

Brilliant book as always, love the way Lisa writes, she gets you into the story line straight away and I was hooked from the beginning with this excellent page turner.

I have read all Lisa's books and can recommend them all she never disappoints, easy reading with excellent twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat, with great endings.

Thank you to Netgalley and Harlequin UK for giving me the opportunity to read this fantastic book.

This is a story about everyone's worst nightmare - a child goes missing!
Of course the reader wants to know w hat happens and reads on to find out. I did find the story a bit slow and repetitive - the child is missing for weeks before the finale. The weeks go on with similar discussions of anguish and upset as the search proceeds. The last few chapters develop the final twists which I felt were almost expected. Some of the awful aspects, eg; intrusive press or nasty posts on social media were mentioned but not explored.
I felt that I read on because the subject is emotive but the story wasn't exciting for me. I recommend the book - with these reservations.

A really enjoyable read although always pleased not to be in the parent's shoes - what a nightmare scenario.. Plenty of twists and turns to keep you interested. Recommended.

Laurel is missing. She went missing at a fireworks display while both her mum and her nanny thought the other adult had her - but it quickly becomes apparent that she hasn't just wondered of, but that someone has taken her. Suspicion is quickly pointed at a suspect, although it quickly becomes apparent that it wasn't him. So who took Laurel? Was it someone close to her? Was it a stranger? Anna her nanny needs to find out what happened to her.
This was a great thriller which kept me guessing to the end - who exactly did kidnap Laurel?

A family night out at a bonfire turns into every parents worst nightmare. One second glance away and little Laurel disappears without a trace.

Told through the view of the nanny Anna the search starts for the missing youngster but as time goes on suspicions turn on the family

This book gets you from the very beginning and does not let go to the last page. A pacey book which I did not want to put down.

I love Lisa Hall and have read everything she has written. I was really looking forward to this book and I was not disappointed. Another twisty psychological thriller. I suspected each and every character in this story, which I think was very cleverly written. A great story that was really tragic at times. I think parents will find this a difficult read. However this is not a criticism. It is very well written and real

Another twisty psychological thriller from my good friend and occasional partner in crime Lisa Hall and blimey it was a great one too. A proper page turner. Trust me I would have pointedly glared at her if I’d been disappointed.

A girl goes missing and literally everyone is hiding something- nobody, let’s face it, would look entirely morally incorruptible when under such intense scrutiny – but which secret might lead to Lauren’s safe return. Well you’ll certainly be avidly scurrying through the read to find out.

Love to hate protagonist’s are one of Lisa’s writing super powers so be prepared for Fran and trust no-one, even Fox Mulder might have struggled with this one with its great pacy plotting.

Divisive characters, unpredictability in events and one of this author’s now trademark brain bending endings make “Have You Seen Her ” an addictive read I’m happy to recommend.
