I always enjoy Sarah Crossans books so I was eager to read an excerpt from Toffee. I'm so pleased NetGalley allowed me to sample this book. It's excerpt has just left me wanting more! As always Sarah's writing is a joy to read. One of my favourite authors.

Finding refuge in an empty shed, she is found by Marla who mistakes her for a girl she knows called Toffee. With the prospect of a roof over her head and food on the table, Allie lets Marla believe she is Toffee. She's not hurting anyone, right?
Sarah Crossan's verse novels rarely disappoint, and I AM SO EXCITED for TOFFEE to be published. This small snippet has made me even more desperate to read this one. Why is May so far away?!
