I read and loved Louise Candlish’s last book (Our House) so I had high hopes for this book. This doesn’t quite live up to that for me, but it’s still an enjoyable read told from many different perspectives.

Full of unlikable characters and dragged on too long.
To be honest I only kept reading to the end as I was hoping for a great twist as in her last book.

Others will love it.

I enjoyed this book but I didn’t love it... I am not sure quite why but I didn’t seem to connect so well with the characters, the murder and the investigation that followed was interesting and seeing the situation from before was clever but for me it seemed to drag a little and I did find my mind wandering at times. This was my first Louise Candlish book and I was impressed with the writing and I will certainly read more of her work in the future. Others may enjoy this book more than I did but I would give it a solid 3 stars.
My thanks to NetGalley and Simon and Schuster UK for giving me the chance to read the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I enjoyed Those People but feel it could have been half the length and a little faster paced. Our House was a great book and I expected Those People to be just as good so I'm left a little disappointed.

I loved the sound of this book, and it was ok, but I didn't take to many of the characters, I felt they could have been better fleshed out. There were parts of the book that surprised me, but I felt it was overlong.I think if it had been shorter and sharper it would have hit the spot for me more. I did think it was realistic and could picture the scenario perfectly well.I would give it 3.5 stars but have rounded up to 4.thanks to the publishers and netgalley for an ARC.
