Brilliant, well written and highly tense. Well done. I’d definitely recommend this to my friends and family x |
An excellent thriller that really draws you in. I was immersed in the storyline and couldn't stop reading well past my bedtime. Highly recommended. |

** spoiler alert ** I liked this more than I expected... and I mean no disrespect in that. Just that family drama isn't really my thing, and I felt there was a fair bit of it in the book. Told over two timelines, one trying to solve a 20 year old murder, the other twenty years before that and the events that led up to it. I say murder, nobody knows if it was murder or not. The characters all slowly revealed themselves in the parts set in the past, and the future sections set them all in pace. I think I'd have liked it more,if the ending hadn't been so unbelievable. When you've got a cast of characters with enough reason to kill, why make up another? Other than that, decently paced, decent characters, decent all round. |
