This book about life after retirement was definitely enjoyable and taught lessons. The humor in the book made it exciting and a happy read. Loved it. |

Enjoyed this book. Kept me interested all the way through. Would recommend to a fellow reader. Love the cover. |
This is a gentle, meandering, relaxed kind of book - part memoir, part imagination, and you are rarely sure which is which, which is part of its charm. Written in a very informal engaging style, this is a quick read, and the author certainly has a way with words. Many of the stories are amusing, others very moving. A lovely little book, recommended. Thanks to the author, publisher and Netgalley for an advance review copy in return for an unbiased review. |

I don't often read autobiographies for many reasons I don't want to be jealous of someone else's amazing life or feel too sad for someone who had a really tough life. But this was not like that it was more nostalgic reminiscences and moving on and accepting the past written in a gentle style. I enjoyed the book but I felt like I would like a little more. |
