What a great suspenseful story. Vigil is the first book I have read from this author and loved it so much hope to read more in the future.

In this story, a president was assassinated. A world in chaos. A superhuman force ascendant.Lemalia is the home of the wonder metal, Duritium, that has revolutionized modern society.

The storyline was interesting with enough twists and turns to keep me guessing until the very end. The characters were well-crafted.

This is a Sci-Fi Political Thriller! A group from different agencies who have different capabilities are brought together to be the ultimate saviors for the US. They are to help a small country that has a metal found very few other places. The group finds their boss is not looking out for the good of the world but a group called the Network. Can the Vigil headed by Alicia Conrad expose the Network? It won't be easy.

I am an avid Thriller reader and have been for years. This books is smart, complicated with good character development and impossible to guess the ending. I so hate it if I can easily guess the whole plot. . I eagerly await the next book. Excellent writing!!!

The storyline is fine but feels like a lesser-than version of the latest superhero movies and TV shows out there.
