I did not like this. I barely got through the first 10%, when I just DNF'd it. There was a lot of pacing issues for me, more than (it seems) the story itself. |

Though this is well written and you can almost enjoy the first half of the book, it's not as historically interesting as I had expected...maybe because I am more into epics and this was more of an unraveling of the dynamics of the Qi household. Thanks Netgalley for the eARC. |
