Unfortunately due to an issue with downloading this novel I was only able to read parts of this book, therefore I will only be reviewing the first few chapters.

This novel explores the ever changing world Roodie and his family and friends live in. It explores a time very different from now but also very alike in many ways.

Even from the few chapters I read I could already sense the overwhelming feel of nostalgia that seeps out of each page. Although I will admit there were some themes that weren’t my cup of tea, I can definitely relate to some of the mischief Roodie and his friends got up to.

Overall although this novel wasn’t for me it has promise of being a comforting read for many, one that will bring reads back to pleasant memories of their childhood, and to all this novel is a reminder of things that once were.
