This is such a great start to this series. The characters are great. Five women who have been friends since they were little girls at camp, decide to open a year-round camp for adults. After all, adults will be easier than a bunch of kids. Right? When Dylan and his brothers come to the camp looking for a job, Zoey is sure they are up to something, but they do need workers. As Dylan searches for his brother, he and Zoey become closer and he knows he can't continue lying to her. Will she understand? Will they find their father?

Summer Nights is the first book in Jill Sanders's new Wildflowers series. This book is about Zoey, one of five young women who purchased a former summer camp, and Dylan, a man searching for his father. I felt the chemistry between Zoey and Dylan immediately. One thing I didn't like was how forgiving Zoey was after each of Dyaln's half-truths (lies). She seemed like a pushover at times.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the rest of the girls' stories! If you liked Jill Sanders' previous books I think you will like this one as well.

4.25⭐
Jill Sanders is a new author to me and one I'll definitely be reading more of. As Summer Nights was entertaining, sweet, engaging, fun story. That had very likable characters and a hint of suspense. Which I honestly wasn't expecting and with that being an ongoing thread which is still fully to develop I'm really looking forward to what comes next.

Would happily recommend.

4 1/2 stars. What a fun new series from Jill!! This is an awesome story that has a bit of suspense to go along with the romance and a fantastic bunch of characters that are all introduced, but the love story is about Dylan and Zoey. These two have some serious chemistry! Zoey is part of a group of girls who all met at a summer camp 10 years earlier and now they are all investors in turning that same camp into something new for adults. Lots of things happening here. I just love that the plot will continue into the next book. I look forward to the rest of this series!

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC!

Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this book very much. I just found the style of writing to be non-propulsive; with the multiple storylines and characters that just didn't have enough depth to keep me drawn in.
I didn't share this review to goodreads because I think that readers should have a chance to decide for themselves - just because this book wasn't for me doesn't mean that it won't find it's audience!

This book was pure gold. It was sweet, sexy, swoony, funny and you just can’t help but smile while reading this book. It’s the perfect summer read!! Can be read in the garden, the beach or just at home. Jill Sanders just never disappoints her readers old and new. Happy reading!!

This is thefirst book in the new series Wildflowers. Summer Night, is a romantic suspense. I really enjoyed zoey and dylans story but at times it was hard to find the chemistry between them. A good start to this series. It threw in a few twist and turns with a slight mystery.

Zoey together with friends invest money in the camp, where they spent summers long time ago. They opened camp for adults thinking it will be easier than overlooking kids. They had to hire a lot of people to do all stuff around camp. Three brothers (Dylan, Liam, Owen ) are looking for their father, they thinking that he is hiding somewhere around camp. While looking for him, Dylan meets Zoey and they start to spend a lot of time together.
Dylan hides his reason and name while working. Will Zoey be able to forgive him his lies?
I loved the story, characters.

Good love story and a mystery!

Zoey Rowlett knows that her dad is dropping her and her younger sister Scarlett for a month at summer camp while her parents work on their marriage but on the first day they met Elle Saunders, Hannah Rodgers and Aubrey and they will become best friends, the Wildflowers.

Zoey Rowlett is working with her best friends to reopen the summer camp where they met as kids as a getaway camp for adults with the whole group pitching in. Zoey met Dylan Rhodes and his brothers when they applied at the camp jobs under false names because they were trying to find their father who had disappeared with a lot of money that the board of directors was expecting to be invested in the company. The only clue they had was a meeting on his calendar with Elle Saunders so they were checking out the camp trying to find him.

Summer Nights has a good love story with Zoey and Dylan falling in love and a bigger question of where their father is.

P.S. I can’t wait for Elle’s story!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you NetGalley.
Summer Nights was such a great summer read. It was written in dual POV which is a favorite for me. The main characters were slightly lacking chemistry at times. but aside from that, i will be checking out other books by this author.

Will secrets cause destruction of the heart?

Dylan and Zoey hit it off right away – even though they both are keeping secrets, their chemistry cannot be denied. Their romance is interspersed with the struggles to open the camp, the Rhodes brothers trying to solve the mystery of “where is Dad?” and the hijinx of the couples staying at the camp. There was lots of backstory about the Wildflowers, which lays the foundation for subsequent stories of the remainder of the Wildflowers (and likely the Rhodes Bros too!). Still, there’s lots of Zoey and Dylan time as their relationship develops and they try to find time and space for private time.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic thriller must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

Authors Blurb: Zoey Rowlett knows putting her savings into a run-down summer camp is risky. But River Camp has sentimental value—it’s where she met her best friends and coinvestors. Their plan is to turn the Florida camp into a sexy retreat for wealthy snowbirds looking for love, and if Zoey finds love, too, that would be just fine.

Dylan Rhodes and his brothers are on a secret mission to find their father. He’s absconded with a large sum of money, and Dylan thinks he might be buzzing around this wild new summer camp. Hoping for answers, Dylan takes a job at the camp. But every time he sees Zoey, he forgets what he’s looking for.

Zoey and Dylan have a lot on their plates already, but all they want to do is devour each other. Can Dylan keep his eyes off Zoey’s bikini and stay focused? And can Zoey keep her hands off Dylan long enough to run the camp?

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

The first book in the new series Wildflowers, Summer Night, is a romantic suspense. I like this story but struggled with not feeling the connection between the main characters. A good premise to start this series I will read more and recommend you read this for yourself.

Just okay for me. I loved the 5 Girls reopening the camp but for adults, the unexpected swinger hijinks and that 3 sexy brothers were introduced into the mix. However, two brothers whom this us not their love story, come off as opportunistic jerks, the oldest more so than the youngest.

I didn’t really feel a strong connection between the h and H either. I mean they are always in each other’s presence and there was a sex scene or three, but she was weary of him for most of it and all the secrets and doubt kinda ruined the ‘love” believability.

The h and H get a HEA, but the dad is still missing and at least two more brothers (and an employee (secret brother maybe)) have wildflowers if their own to match up. Unfortunately, this one didn’t do enough to make me particularly interested in reading those.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is fun summer read with fun characters and a few interesting twists in the story line. Everything falls a little too neatly in place if you want realism, but it really is an enjoyable way to spend a few hours on a summer day.

Featuring a large cast of characters and a bit of a mystery, Summer Nights is a fun and cute read that includes a romance but doesn’t necessarily focus on it. The cover and description drew me in, so I was expecting more of a rom com, summer beach read. While it is a low angst book with plenty of humor, the romance took a backseat to the setup to this new series, ultimately feeling rushed and lacking depth. The story follows the Wildflowers, 5 best friends who met at summer camp as young girls who are now opening their own adult summer camp. Zoey is the lead in this book, and she hires 3 brothers to help get the camp going. What she doesn’t realize is that the brothers (including Dylan, our hero) are on a secret mission to gather information from the Wildflowers in hopes of finding their father. As Dylan begins spending time with Zoey in an effort to gather intel from her, he finds himself wanting to spend time with her for an entirely different reason.

I have no complaints about the writing style or the premise, it’s just that the story is too scattered. There’s a lot going on between the number of characters (5 friends, 3 brothers, other supporting characters), and the various subplots involving both Dylan and Zoey’s families. It was a lot to remember, and made it so I wasn’t fully invested in any of it. When Dylan and Zoey do spend time together, it’s in short bursts that are not enough to give the relationship much depth (their connection felt more physical than emotional, especially since Dylan is hiding things from Zoey most of the time). I think if more time had been spent on our couple, and fewer characters were introduced, I would’ve liked the book a lot better. That being said, I bet the next book in the series will be much better since everything was introduced in this one. Thank you, NetGalley, for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review. While I didn’t love the book, there was still plenty to like about it.

Summer Nights takes us through the back story of the “Wildflowers”, as they refer to themselves. The Wildflowers is a group of 5 girls that met at summer camp and have become life-long, solid friends. They now find themselves opening up an overnight camp for “snow birds” – adults that prefer to spend the winters in warm and sunny Florida. The story takes us through the ups and downs of re-opening the camp, from rehabbing/rebuilding to entertainment/activities to HR issues. During the pre-opening hiring process, they meet three brothers and hire them to staff various areas at the camp.

Let’s just say a Momma Bear is the impetus for their relationship going public. Yes, a real bear (ursus americanus) – not the human Momma Bear kind.

Summer Nights was a fun read and I look forward to the next installment of the Wildflowers. There’s plenty of room for mystery and romance among the rest of the ladies. Plus, we’ll get to keep laughing at the antics of the snowbird campers, cringing at the HR nightmare employees, and cheering for the successes of the Wildflowers.

Zoey Rowlett and her sister Scarlett are being dropped off to summer camp. Their parents are having marital problems and they decided to drop their girls off to camp. While there they meet the owner's granddaughter, Elle, and Hannah and Aubrey. All 5 of them form a special bond, going to camp every summer until it shuts down. As Zoey gets older, she tore her ACL in softball. She lost her spot on her team, when they went to Rio de Janeiro to win the gold. She goes back to Florida, to visit her friends, as they do every summer. While there Elle decides they should open the camp up for adults, all year round. She asks all her friends if they wanted to be partners, and of course, the girls all pitch in and move to Florida.
Dylan Rhodes and his brothers have come to Florida, looking for their father, who decided to leave town and there is a larger amount of money that is missing. The only clue they have, is their father was suppose to come to the area. So they decide to take jobs at the camp, helping around with the campers and look for their father.
But soon Dylan starts falling for Zoey and all the girls know they are up to something. I cannot wait until the next book comes out so I can see how they find their father.

I enjoyed the synopsis for this book and am always keen to try a new author. And while I found the plot interesting and it did provide some intrigue that kept me reading; I was disappointed with the lead characters, and felt they lacked any real chemistry. I also struggled with a relationship based on secrets and lies, which led me to feel disconnected from their characters. Maybe it was simply a matter of too much focus on the multi-faceted plot and not enough emphasise on the romance between Zoey and Dylan. The story felt more complex than it needed to be, with many distractions throughout. I hope the next book is more on point and will definitely give it a go before I pass on the series.

This was actually my first Jill Sanders read and I can't wait to read more from the Wildflowers series. "Summer Nights" kept me engaged and wanting to know more about Dylan and his family. I will say that I was disappointed that the whole mystery behind why Dylan and his brothers were at the summer camp wasn't actually solved in this book. My guess is the story will pick back up with the next book. Even though that was disappointing, the storyline was still one that was enjoyable.

I loved hearing about the Wildflowers and how they came to know each other at summer camp as kids. I loved that they were friends even though they didn't appear to have a lot in common at first and kept in touch over the years.

It's not often that you like all of the secondary characters in a book, but I must say, I really loved the Rhodes brothers and the sisters of the Wildflowers clan. They all brought a unique personality to the table and were each memorable in their own way. That makes me look forward to them pairing up in future books. Now, the couples at the resort were another story. They sort of annoyed me given how brazen they were, but I guess the ladies got a kick out of it after a while.

Dylan and Zoey were really cute together. Yes, they fell for each other pretty quickly and their relationship wasn't initially built on honesty, but they worked through that and gave each other a chance when others around them may have had their doubts. I loved that they were fiercely protective of the other. Zoey certainly surprised me there in a certain dangerous situation.

I'll definitely continue reading the series after this one!

Summer Nights by Jill Sanders a five-star read that you will want to run away to camp with. This is book one of the Wildflowers and I foresee them being beautiful and unique like the flowers and girls who inspire them. This time it’s the turn of Zoey Rowlett to give us her story, a story of how there came to be a group of girls who inspire you to love like sisters. I didn’t know what to expect form this one, but it delivered in spades, it was so much more than I imagined it would be, I snorted wine out of my nostrils, I fell in love with older couples and giggled like a crazy person at their antics, (it was like being at a work party at times). I loved it so hard, I plan on getting this for my friends who don’t believe what I tell them about work, I manage a housing complex for the over 55’s. So, this to me was like work in the sunshine but so much more!! I have to give special mention to the Youngs, they were just stand out to me, even more than a certain trio of brothers at times. I will be eagerly awaiting number two coming out.
