How much I love this book ! Specialy because ONE, the most IMPORTANT reason - K . BROOMBERG as an author never dissapionts !!!! This woman  exactly knows how to lead her story and chatacters in this amazing way, which makes her readers speachless, breathless.... heart beating very, very fast!!!! I still can't get enough of

I was really impatient for this book, since  the first time I saw that another mastermpiece will be realeased by Kristy ! I can't lie... I was counting my days imlatiently. And this time haven't been lost !!! From the very first paiges I dive deeply in this book. From paige to another one I only wanted to know more... For sure Resist .... will make You feel, that You can't RESIST without reading it !

Vaughn and Ryker are strong characters,  however.... they are even stronger together ! They fight with each other... they fight with themselfs, .... falling for someone who might  be as tough as we are... could give a little problems, right ? I liked to watch how they tried not give up their feelings. Love could be very fraigle, but when the right person shows up, nothing else matters. Vaugh and Ryker gave me amazing time.... Chemistry between them was over the charts, adding this with great story line, I alll drama in the background.... ? THIS BOOK couldn't be more perfect!

Talk about tension!! This book was HOT! HOT I TELL YOU!  Ryker and Vaughn's story was the perfect opposites attract story! It was sweet and insanely hot and I was on the edge of my seat for the majority of this book. THAT CLIFFHANGER THOUGH!!!! Lets just say I am beyond ready to get my hands on the next book!!

Vaughn and Ryker are the definition of opposites attract. Some how they make you see how well they fit together. They give me "pretty woman" vibes. As much as Cliffhangers make me crazy I cannot wait to see what else is in store for this couple. Great story by a great Author

RESIST had me from the very start and didn’t let me go. Vaughn and Ryker have chemistry from the moment they meet and OMG these two together are on fire! The part I loved most? THE ENDING!!! I never saw it coming and I cannot wait to see how Ms. Bromberg is going to twist the knife deeper in REVEAL.

You know that I love K Bromberg if you've followed my blog for  awhile now, and I'll read pretty much anything she writes.  This book takes me back to the series that originally introduced me to her books.  It has the emotion and the angst and all the feels that I got from reading Driven for the first time.  Fortunately for me, unlike with that book, I know that there is another book, and that Bromberg likes to leave us hanging and needing the next book.  Unfortunately for me, unlike with that book, the sequel isn't out yet, and so now I have to wait until September to find out where it is going!  

I loved Vaughn, and I even loved Ryker right away.  I could see all the problems that Vaughn was going to have though with her plan to try to adopt her niece.  There's just so many ways her plan to raise the money to pay off her debt quickly could go wrong.  Not to mention that we get some hints as we go through the book that she may have a stalker out there, someone we just don't know who it is. Although I have my suspicions of course.  I also have my suspicions on what was really going on at the end, and I'm very anxious to read on and see if I'm right!  Because I need my love for Ryker to be restored.

I love Ryker and Vaughn's story. This is my first K. Bromberg book and I was not disappointed. The tension between the characters drives the story forward. A wonderful play on opposites attract. The cliff hanger was a punch in the gut. But I'm in for the next book. Need it now.

I liked this book a lot. I don't want to tell much about the plot because all the details are important. And they need to be unveiled at the right time.
I'm dying to read what happens next. The end is a cliffhanger so big, they should invent a new word for it.

holy balls of fire that was HOT! … it was passionate and intense, captivating and hypnotic, and just outright powerful. All of it. 

Ryker fucking Lockhart … *swoon* This frikkin guy! He is an alpha force to be reckoned with and Vaughn Sanders just might be the woman to blow that force to smithereens!! Their push/pull intensity is one of the sexiest I have read in a while. 

This story/book is just the beginning of this ruthless journey Ryker and Vaughn need to navigate to get to the other side of … happiness? Love? Freedom? There are twists and turns running amok with enough secrets to keep you glued to this story. I myself could not stop reading! When I got the end I legit had a mini stroke. LEGIT people. I don’t even had words …..

If you like your stories to be thought provoking and intense in all areas, this is definitely one journey you do not want to miss #TRUST

This is typical K. Bromberg. Undeniable chemistry between leads, cliffhanger ending, and steamy pages.

Having liked the Driven series, I didn't read the blurb and I didn't notice the #1, when I requested the book. At first, I was not able to connect with either Vaughn, as the madame of an escort service, Wicked Ways or Ryker, an arrogant lawyer. But slowly the story revealed their inner characters, why they are the way they are. And then there is the mystery of what happened to Vaughn's sister, Samantha, who Lucy is and Vaugh's suppressed memories. The witty banter helps pulled the relationship together. However, it does end in a cliffhanger, why didn't Ryker give Vaughn the hand signal? And I hate cliffhangers, because now I have to wait until the next book comes out and hope by that time I still remember what happened in this one.

This is sinfully indulgent story filled with suspense, intrigue and passion.  It is a sexy and complicated story about two people who meet and never expect a meaningful relationship to develop. 

Ryker Lockhart is a very successful divorce attorney.  He doesn’t have time to date and decides to use Vaughn’s escort service.  Neither Ryker or Vaughn realize their meeting will change the course of their lives. Ryker is impatient, cocky, edgy, controlling, charming and not at all what Vaughn is expecting.

Vaughn is living a double life and when she meets Ryker, he has her questioning everything. Vaughn runs a successful escort service; she is beautiful, sexy, smart and caring but she also has a lot of baggage from her past. In fact, she has so many issues it is hard for her to relate to anyone and she continually tries to push Ryker away.  

When Ryker and Vaughn meet their chemistry explodes.  They meet under unusual circumstances and are surprised to discover a spark which leads to a fire. They are two cynical people who don’t believe in love or trust anyone easily.  This story kept me spellbound and it ends with a cliffhanger, so you have to wait for the HEA.

I can not recommend this book enough.  So so so good. Vaughn is a madam but only in the sense to bring in as much money as she can to help pay down debt. So she can adopt her niece Lucy. Ryker Lockhart is a divorce attorney and someone with a lot of connections that could help bring in more clients to wicked ways. But when the girl he requests is hurt by another client Vaughn might lose him for good. Until he requests her instead. But that isn’t who she is so can she do it?  Holy moly the end leaves you like what the heck?!?!  Couldn’t wait to start in with the second book.  Book was given to me on netgalley.

Fun romance novel with interesting characters. The author takes her time building sexual tension and a nice "will they or won't they" vibe. It's well into the second half of the book before these two get together due to their own stubbornness and need for control and power. The constant friction was fun, albeit somewhat ridiculous. There was a nice backstory on the female lead with not as much on the male lead. The ending completely threw me for a loop - definitely interested in seeing where this story goes in the next book in the series!

Ryker is a divorce attorney and Vaughn is a madam. Two total opposites but when Ryker wants an escort at his beck and call, he contacts Vee's service and it's her that meets with him and their chemistry is on fire. Resist is well written romance with strong, well developed characters and I can't wait to read the next book in the Wicked Ways series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Resist is a must-read but don't plan to get anything done, because you won't be able to put it down! Ryker and Vaughn's story begins with Ryker hiring someone from Vaughn's escort service but getting Vaughn instead. Their chemistry is immediate though both seem to battle how close to get. Vaughn has a lot of troubles from her past to work through and Ryker just isn't that great at relationships. Together though they find their way to happiness, until a long weekend in the Hamptons. K. Bromberg brings such emotion and passion to her characters and writing. This one is not to be missed though I would give the warning there is a cliffhanger.

Ryker Lockhart is sexy, single and in need of a no strings attached relationship, until he lays eyes and lips on Vee, the madam in charge of finding him such a relationship. These two have so much chemistry and are downright explosive together. Resist is full of so many emotions; love, lust, heartwarming and heartbreaking all wrapped up in one whopping cliffhanger. I cannot wait for the next book! I need to know what happens next.

Resist by K. Bromberg is the first book in her Wicked Ways series. Book one is told in dual POV between complicated Vaughn and all her secrets and charming Ryker and all his efforts at revealing them. It also has a cliffhanger ending which took me by surprise and has be itching for the next book in this series, Reveal. The ending was harsh and the journey there was magnificent. Each of these characters has layers and reasons for being who they are. Which actually makes the cliffhanger all the more unexpected and shocking! With secondary characters that will steal or heart and make you murderous, this book was awesome! Enjoy!

This book I was so excited to get to read this book. I fell in love from page one. You won't regret one clicking this.

After reading Resist, I wanted more. I couldn't put this book down. Ryker is a divorce attorney and good at what he does. He doesn't believe in love. He is sexy, powerful, rich. He gets what he wants. He fights for what he wants. Vaughn is smart, sexy. She is trying to do everything that she can to get one thing that means the world to her. This book shows the struggle and the stress that she goes through. Ryker and Vaughn meet and Ryker can't get her out of his head. He is surprised at himself for chancing after her. You see Vaughn's past and it just gets to you. I absolutely love this book. I highly recommend this book. Can't wait to read the second book. Another great read K. Bromberg, love your books.

I haven't read a K. Bromberg book in a long while. I won't tell you how long because that would be bad. But I read the synopsis for Resist and knew that I needed to get my hands on a copy.

And oh, it DID NOT disappoint. I got the same feeling I had when I first read Driven. Insane butterflies and then a intense need to know what happens next. I will say Resist is probably a title that fits the book as an entirety. But I will not give away any spoilers. Except this does end on cliffhanger.

The book starts out with Vaughn Sanders letting herself get into a sticky situation. A situation with a man who's used getting anything and everything that he wants. Ryker Lockhart is definitely a man I would describe as peculiar. He has the power and the money from being a high rise attorney, that only accepts men as clients. This mean he has his own set of issues. 

But that doesn't make Vaughn a shrinking violet. Oh, no. She is a take the bull by the horn type of woman. Which is why she gets herself involved with Ryker. You can't help but be enamored by her. Her backstory is somewhat tragic and spiraled starting from one event and continuing into her adulthood. I think this is why she choose such an interesting career. 

This book has every element that I expect from Kristy. But this has such a power struggle between Ryker and Vaughn that produces such a magic between the them. These two gravitate and collide with each other. I love the push and pull between any characters that I read. As much as these two want to discover from each other, they also have much to hide too!

This book will keep you wanting more and more as you turn that page. Hook, line and sinker, Kristy has crafted another series that I put right up there with Driven. Yes! I said it.
