This quick reading, lighthearted, funny story. I always enjoy reading anything by this author, that I didn’t want this story to end! It’s sweet, short and sexy. Loved it. Super excited to see what this author writes next. Happy reading!

A laugh-out-loud romance!

When Kelsey pretends to be the bride-to-be at her best friend’s bachelorette party, she gets more than she bargained for by sleeping with the stripper. After she finds out she’s pregnant with his baby, she learns he wasn’t a stripper at all ... he is her cousin’s best friend and she (unknowingly) agreed for him to move in with her until he finds a house to buy.

This book had me laughing so hard! I couldn’t help but love these characters right from the start. Aaron pretending to be a ladies man when he actually just got kicked out of his parents home ... at thirty-two! And Kelsey said whatever came in to her head and didn’t care who heard. I can’t believe she was able to keep all her secrets for so long! If you’re looking for a light hearted, laugh-out-loud book ... then this is the one for you.

The (Secret) Baby was a fun and easy read. Even though you know what the story line is very early on, it doesn’t spoil the story. Kelsey and Aaron get along great when they are just being natural and enjoying being around each other. this was an enjoyable and light read. I really enjoyed the characters as I have been waiting for this book to come out since I read the first in the series and it did not disappoint. Thank you to Leddy Harper NetGalley and Montlake Romance for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

An enjoyable light baby rom com, sometime it felt a bit slow and the pace needed to pick up a little, but still an enjoyable romance

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

This was a cute, surprise baby rom com.

Kelsey was nice although a little annoying. Aaron was adorable. I really like him. I feel like Kelsey at the end of this book isn’t the same one as the beginning. She grew as a person.

There of course were crazy misunderstanding. And meddling family. But all in all it was a pretty cute and easy read.

This was another book by Leddy Harper that sucked me in and didn't let go until I was finished. The story between Kelsey and Aaron and a one night stand resulting in a baby. My only issue with the book was that a lot of the problems between the two could have been solved by talking to each other. I know, I know....It's a book but we read about miscommunication and her not sharing her secret about the baby for a bit to long. That being said, it was a good book, a few out loud giggles and characters that I couldn't help but like.

The (Secret) Baby is an amazingly satisfying book. If you love a good romcom then this is the one for you. Kelsey is one of my favorite heroines with her feistiness and spirited ways. Aaron is just this all around good guy with his own problems he needed to deal with. Kelsey and Aaron's meet-cute was so funny that I couldn't stop laughing.

This book was fun to read.. Fun in that these two people meet under strange circumstances and then find out Aaron new Kelsey's cousin who was married to her best friend. Lots of misunderstandings here and it took awhile to get everything straightened out. I especially loved the epiloggue. It was hilarious. I really like how this author writes and will look for more of her books.

The (Secret) Baby is a super cute, super fun rom-com. Fake bride makes fake stripper that ends in an unexpected surprise.
When Kelsey’s best friend, Tatum, can’t make her own bachelorette party she steps in and pretends to be the bride. Enter Aaron. His friend owners the club the bachelorette party is being held and these girls got stood up by the stripper they hired, so Aaron gets roped in and figured it was a great way to get a couple phone numbers.
Kelsey and Aaron instantly connect and because they are strangers decide it is okay to have one night where they can pretend to be someone else and never have to see each other again, they never exchanged names. Though, this one night stand turns out to be so much more than either of them expected.
I loved this story. It was funny, it was sweet, it was steamy and emotional. Not to mention surprise babies are one of my favorite tropes. Kelsey’s anti-man attitude is warranted given her jerk of an ex, but I love how Aaron breaks down her walls. The only thing that bothered me is how long it took her to tell him about the baby, but at the same time there was also so many times she tried and something else came up to prevent that.
I was in tears when it came to Kelsey’s slideshow and journal. It was one of the sweetest things I have ever read.
If you read The (Half) Truth, you’ll recognized Tatum and Jason, and it was great to be able to get more of them and watch their relationship grow throughout this story.
This is a MUST READ super sweet secret baby romance!

The (Secret) Baby is like a quirky telenovela: fun, flirty and filled with misunderstanding and miscommunications and a secret just waiting to be revealed. There are lots of laugh-out-loud moments mixed with low-level angst, and a surprising amount of heartfelt emotions too.

I picked it up because it sounded like a fun read and had no idea that I’d see characters from a previous book – The (Half) Truth – so that was a fun surprise! You don’t need to read it first, but Kelsey and Aaron are the BFF’s of the main characters, Tatum and Jason, in The (Half) Truth.

The (Secret) Baby is a fun read, but for me the timeline seemed to lengthy – that’s a long time to keep a secret that important — and Kelsey’s wishy-washy emotions had me thinking JUST TELL HIM THE TRUTH!!!

The (Secret) Baby was a fun read where there were a few twists thrown in early that just kept trickling down into the storyline throughout the entire book. Even though the reader figures out what is going on early, many of the major players don't know until later which leaves you to speculate on their reactions. The anticipation definitely adds to the enjoyment of this story. Kelsey and Aaron were so cute together when they allowed themselves to just be natural and enjoy one another's company. Unfortunately, both of them seemed to overthink everything and it just kept adding to the confusion in an already sticky situation. Overall, this was an enjoyable and light-hearted read. I really connected with the characters and was literally smiling ear to ear so many times as I read. I don't know if the entire storyline was believable or not, but I didn't really care because I was reading this to escape reality anyway! The book definitely accomplished its job where that was concerned because I was absolutely engrossed in the book and totally forgot about real life for a little while. Thank you to Leddy Harper for the fun "escape."

The (Secret) Baby is a good read. I liked it for the most part, but almost quit reading at the beginning as it was kind of confusing. I always read prologues, but this one I could have skipped…HOWEVER…I am glad I stuck with it, because I ended up enjoying it!

The storyline and premise of how Aaron and Kelsey meet and “hook-up” is cute. The characters were good, but I personally thought Kelsey was being ridiculous in her justification of holding out info from Aaron. The other pregnancy and wedding in the story was a good addition to the storyline. Overall…3.75 stars…rounded up to 4 from me.

3.75 Stars... I enjoyed this funny romcom. If you’re looking for an easy read with low angst and fun times, this read is for you.

It was an alright book, it wasn't anything outstanding and to be honest Kelsey whined ALOT. I kinda get why and so forth, but it made me like her less. I felt really sad about how she unfairly treated Aaron but, they made up in the end, wich was nice. That's the main reason i gave it 3 stars, and those sock-emoji's was hillarous.

A misunderstanding at a bachelorette-party leads to something so much more...

This is my first book by this author. While reading the book I had this niggling feeling it was part of a series and went searching. And indeed, there is a book about a couple in this book. It is not necessary to read the other book before this one, however.

Aaron and Kelsey meet and have a hot ONS at a bachelorette party. She thinks he is the stripper, he is a doctor who decides to do a favor for a friend. They meet again at a wedding and Kelsey turns out pregnant...

Overall a good and interesting story. Kelsey has been hurt before and is determined to keep her heart intact this time. Aaron is looking for a wife and family. There could have been a bit more chemistry between them but I liked them together.

Fun story and I will read this author again.

This book is too sweet and different. Here you can find the roles reversed. Aaron dreams of finding the right woman and having a family. But Kelsey is jaded. Rightfully so but still, that just makes the job harder for Aaron. He is easy going and attentive and a nice guy all around. This story is fun and light with a lot of clever banter between all the characters. Full of misunderstandings and assumptions that are causing a lot of miscommunication between Kelsey and Aaron. But that will make their story even more interesting.

I had a lot of ups and downs with this book. And, to be quite honest, the downs were nothing terrible. But they were enough to annoy me and not fully immerse myself in this story. It also, at times, seemed like it was part of a series. It was nothing so much that it was holding me back from the story of Kelsey and Aaron. But I felt as if I was supposed to know more about Kelsey’s family and friends than I got from this story. Like maybe there was a book about Jason and Tatum that came before this one??? (edited to add: I was able to find a book titled The (Half) Truth by this author that is about Tatum and Jason. These books are not listed as being part of a series at this time, but it’s obvious it’s the story I was wondering about missing.)

I really love the concept of this story. The fake (accidental) stripper one-night stand that ends up being best friends with your cousin, that’s a fun idea. Throw in a surprise pregnancy and roommate situation and it’s a great set up for a lot of antics.

Kelsey and Aaron are really sweet together, even when they first meet and decide to hook up. They decide on this one-night stand not out of overwhelming libido, but because they are both lonely and misunderstood people. It’s actually quite touching. That sweet connection ends up carrying through to their relationship later when they become roommates. I can’t say they have the best chemistry, because it was hit or miss throughout the story. But there were definitely times the chemistry was there and I felt their connection through most of the story.

Kelsey has a great relationship with her best-friend, Tatum…who also happens to be marrying Kelsey’s cousin Jason. Yet I felt as though the author was force feeding me the friendship instead of just letting it speak for itself. She was already showing me these two are great friends, she didn’t have to keep telling me over and over. Instead of me feeling a stronger connection to the characters, I was getting annoyed and felt the story was getting too wordy. The overabundance of words was evident in other scenarios in this book, but mostly when it came to Kelsey and Tatum.

I definitely open to trying more by this author so I can get a true feel for her writing and whether or not it’s for me. Like I said, this story had a fun concept and some really sweet and touching moments. It just got bogged down in places.

Whimsical and Poignant.
I found myself laughing out loud at some of the passages in this story though there were also some moving portions but in the main this is a lighthearted romance that flows easily. Thoroughly enjoyed and a recommended read.
Warning of strong language.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
