This is my third time reading this book and I still love it! 5 stars for creativity, character development and worldbuilding, storyline, editing, and just as importantly if I would read the book more then twice more less once.
This is the last Phoenix Pack novel and it did not disappoint. I'd been waiting so long to see how Dominic would be when he found his mate and how his pack would get their payback for all the cheesy lines he used in their mates. Suzanne gives us a deeper look into Dominic's past and really shows us why he is the way he is. Also that although we all read the books and love the packs we still only ever glimpsed the surface of Dominic and made a lot of assumptions.
I loved seeing that Dominic fell for someone who required him to actually show himself and can go toe to toe retiring his cheesy lines (and yes there are some more memorable ones in this book).

Thank you to Netgalley who provided an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I have wanted to read Dominic’s book ever since the first Phoenix Pack book I read which was actually the fourth, but I got Dark Instincts pretty much on a whim without knowing it was a series because I thought it sounded really good. It’s definitely been a surprise how much and how quickly I fell in love with it and then the Mercury Pack series. I love it so much and I have loved Dominic so hard in every book and I’ve gone through that vicious cycle of wanting his story, but also kind of not because I didn’t want the series to be over. That being said though, I started Untamed Delights as soon as I could after I got it and I loved it so much! It was just everything and there’s nothing I would to change about it!

I've always loved how silly and playful Dominic is, but we really got to see another side to him in his book. He's got deep, dark parts that broke my heart and just made me love him even more. He’s wonderful, he made me proud, and I’m thrilled that he’s found Mila because he deserves to be happy!

Mila's absolutely perfect for Dominic, she's fierce when she needs to be and so strong, but she’s also just a super chill, go with the flow, has her shit together person. Dominic amuses her with all his cheesy lines and she’s so patient and understanding with him. Mila is solid and there’s no one better for Dominic and I am here for them one hundred percent!

I had such a fantastic time reading Untamed Delights! It was for sure bittersweet and even though I took more time reading it than I usually do when it comes to a Suzanne Wright book, I still feel like it went by too fast and was over way too soon. It was fun, a touch heartache-y, full of heat and beyond entertaining and amusing. Untamed Delights was the perfect ending to an incredible series and even though I know we’re getting an Olympus Pride series — which I am so stoked for by the way, you don’t even know — I really hope that we get a spin-off with the kids when they’re all grown up because that would just be amazing, but either way, I can’t wait to read anything that’s shifter-y by Ms. Wright again!

This was the book that I think most readers had been waiting for. Dominic has been the one guy that flirts and drives the other guys crazy. Now it is his turn. He sees Mila sing in the Mercury Pack's club and is instantly enthralled by her. I love that she doesn't fall for his lines. She tells him to take a hike. Mila is attracted to him but she doesn't really want to be. They aren't true mates but I love that they imprint which means they decide and not wait for fate.

Of course, Mila already knows her true mate who is currently imprinting on her cousin. It could have gotten really ugly but I loved the way it was written. Dominic of course is super protective which is something we all knew he would be. This is the one book that is not full of Dominic's cheesy lines but it wasn't. I also love that he didn't suddenly change the player that he was. I mean, he isn't with other women but the habit of leaving in the middle of the night doesn't just change suddenly. He has commitment issues and it shows.

Mila gave as good as she got. She wasn't super emotional but more of a realist. Like with her true mate and her cousin. She simply stepped aside and went about her life. It hurt but she didn't do anything to get in their way of finding happiness together.

The epilogue with who had what kids in the pack was a nice touch but also makes me want to know more about the kids now. I hope we get their books as well or sometime in the future. Honestly this and the Mercury Pack series are two of Suzanne Wright's series that I had hoped would never end. I guess we will have to settle for the Olympus Pride series when it comes out.

Untamed Delights is the eighth book in The Phoenix Pack. Suzanne Wright has done it again by offering up another fantastic shifter book full of passion, romance, and non-stop action. Will I ever get sick of these paranormal couplings?!?!? NEVER! Cat shifter Mila Devereaux has suffered great loss after her true mate has imprinted on another. After deciding the best course of action for her is to move away and re-start her life, she meets the man who will rock her world. Dominic, a pack enforcer, has never been a man to back down from what he wants and he wants Mila!!!!

Told in multiple POV, Untamed Delights is another MUST READ for shifter lovers everywhere! With drama, suspense, intrigue, and smoking hot passion, this is one read you will not want to miss!

Overall, I will never get enough of Suzanne Wright and her shifter romances! Her strong characters and the world in which they live is one place that I will simply never get enough!

I have loved every book, in every series, that this author has written and this one was no different. She is one of the few authors that I one click buy without even reading the description, because I know it's going to be that good.

I loved this instalment, though I’m absolutely gutted this series is over. Suzanne Wright introduced me to shifter romance and made me fall in love with PNR!

I am a sucker for anything Suzanne Wright. She is definitely my guilty pleasure.

Dominic stood true to the character that Suzanne has cultivated in the series, but also we got to see a different side to him. Mila was a perfect counterpart, she did not make anything too easy for him, but didn't needlessly push him away.

I will miss the Phoenix Pack but I look forward to what Ms Wright has upcoming.

Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC. I forgot how much I love this author and her PNR spins! As always this couple caused trouble, made me laugh, swoon, and just gave me all the feels!

I’ve always said that if Suzanne Wright writes a million of these books, I’ll read every single one. That feeling has not changed at all! The last is just as amazing as the first! I loved loved loved it! It’s everything you expect from the series and more. Blazing hot chemistry, wickedly funny banter, and steamy scenes that will melt your kindle.

I’m so happy I found this series and will forever love these characters!

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve delved into the world of shifters, but Suzanne Wright always knows exactly how to draw me back in! I’ve read most of the books in Wright’s Phoenix Pack series and Mercury Pack series (a spin-off series), which all can be read as a standalone if need be, but I think the story flows best when read in order. Both series have a lot of characters that often make crossover appearances, which I always love to see what the rest of the pack is up to! Also, I am always so impressed with the variety of shifters Wright has cleverly weaved in throughout these two series and on occasion, I have done a google image search because I’ve never heard of them, such as a Pallas and margay cat.

Dominic is a pack enforcer for the Phoenix pack and a notorious playboy that never had any desire to settle down. But when he meets Mila, a Pallas cat shifter, everything begins to change for him.

I’ve been waiting for Dominic’s story forever and was so excited for Untamed Delights. This is one wolf shifter’s story I couldn’t wait to get my hands on! Dominic has long been one of my favorite character throughout this series and I’m so excited for him to finally get his story told. Plus, I kinda really adored the fact that Mila had already met her mate and this wasn’t a typical true mate kind of story. Also, I just really appreciated Mila and how fierce she could be!

Although I’m sad to see the ending of Suzanne Wright’s Phoenix Pack series, I think it was a great finish to a series full of amazing characters that I’ve grown so fond of over the years!

5 stars for Suzanne Wright’s Untamed Delights

I've been waiting for this book for ages. Dominic. The king of the awful pick-up lines and no boundaries.

Dominic's early life wasn't easy and sometimes you have to wonder if his life didn't get better after his mother left and his father died. Then the unrealistic expectations placed on him by his parents were no longer there and he could just be Dominic. It did have a lasting effect on him, which fueled his reluctance to commit.

Mila wants love, mating, and kits, and everything that goes with it. Unfortunately, when she meets her true mate, he's already imprinted on someone else. To make it even more awkward, it's her cousin. Her cat isn't happy with either of them, so Mila is considering moving to Russia to be with her mother's family.

But then Dominic walks into a bar where Mila happens to be singing. There's something about her that calls to Dominic. His wolf recognizes the pain in her eyes. Mila's cat is not as angry at Dom as she has been with most people of late.

When Mila comes under attack, Dominic takes it personally and does his best to protect Mila while giving her and her cat room to be independent. It's no small task, but Mila's cat is amazed at Dominic's ability to stand back and watch them work.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the series. I can't wait to see more of the Pallas Cats.

My Thoughts:
I’ve been waiting for Dominic’s story for a long time! This guy was famous for his suggestive jokes, which always make me laugh! He’s seemingly an easy going, love-um-and-leave-um sort of guy, but we finally get his backstory and turns out Dominic’s not as easy going as he seems. True, he’s avoided commitment, but as he sets eyes on Mila something inside him shifts, and commitment doesn’t sound so bad. Even better if that means holding onto Mila, because she brings out possessive instincts he thought he never had.

For the most part, Suzanne Wright’s shifter stories have been romances between true mates, meaning the two were made for each, destined to be each other’s mate. This is the second story I’ve read by here where the couple aren’t true mates, in fact, Mila knows the identity of her true mate, knew it was him the minute she laid eyes on him, but her mate, Joel, didn’t recognize her because he was already in love with another woman. In this version of shifters, pairs can imprint and form bonds like true mates if their love and trust is strong.

Mila was planning on moving to another pack, open to the idea of an arranged mating. However, her plans start to shift when Dominic sort of forces his way into her life. There is a definite irresistible attraction between them, but Mila’s not interested in him at all after hearing his reputation. She’s not the kind of woman that would tolerate being another notch in his bedpost. But Dominic’s like an annoying gnat that just won’t go way, lol.

I was happy the conflict in Untamed Delights wasn’t from unnecessary relationship drama, instead the drama came from the constant threats against Mila’s life and a couple of delusional humans. As Dominic and Mila try to find out why she’s a target, they become closer, and as shifters do (even if you’re not true mates) bonds start to form. I also appreciated that Mila doesn’t stress out over Dominic’s past conquests or whether or not he’ll commit to her, a lot of times when a character keeps worrying over that kind of stuff, it stresses me out, too.

This is the eighth book in the series, but you don’t need to read the other books first. You could read these books out of order because they’re each stand-alone, different couple/romance. If you like fun shifter stories with quite a bit of sizzle, humor and a bit of danger I recommend any of Suzanne Wright’s shifter stories.

Apparently, this is the last book in the Phoenix Pack series and Ms. Wright gifted us with an epilogue some years into the future featuring not only Dominic and Mila, but our past couples too. Loved it!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Why does this have to end?!! Why? WHY??!!!! *throws herself to the floor crying like a 4-year-old*

To say I’m not ready for the Phoenix Pack series to end is putting it mildly (clearly displayed at the beginning of this review in case you missed that). I’ve freaking loved this series from the first to the very last book.

Sadly, this is the last one for the Phoenix Pack wolves but I’m hopeful Ms. Wright will manage to squeeze some of them into her upcoming books.

Who doesn’t love Dominic with his alpha ways, charming smile and terrible pickup lines? I’ve been waiting for some female to make him work for it since we met him. And boy, does Mila make him sweat for her attention! This was probably one of my favorite couple’s dynamic in all the books… ha! Who am I kidding, I love them all equally.

Mila found her true mate but he was already in the process of imprinting with another female in her pride. Unable to handle it, she fled to Russia to visit some relatives and ends up considering entering an arranged mating over there. Once Dominic sets his sights on her though, all bets are off, especially when he won’t give her a reprieve from his relentless pursuit.

I totally loved Mila. As a Pallas cat, she is basically a crazy bitch. Her no bs- no drama, as well as her devil may care attitude was one of my favorite things about her. She was funny, snarky and totally bloodthirsty.

Dominic, who we knew to have a relaxed attitude towards everything that isn’t his pack, was actually one super sexy, possessive wolf. I absolutely loved getting to know him better while he shared his true self with Mila. He had everything I expected from an alpha hunky wolf… just FYI, the corny pickup lines never stop.

With action, intrigue, super-hot sexiness, and some new characters I can’t wait to know more of, along with time spent with the Phoenix Pack wolves, this was a bittersweet read. I’m not really ready for this awesome series to end, but Untamed Delights is one hell of a book.

Rating: 5 “was the butt sex really necessary at 99% mark of the book?” Stars

It's no secret that I love Suzanne Wright, She is one of my favourite authors, but I'm sad that it is the last book in the Phoenix Pack series.
Though not my favourite in the series, I still really loved Untamed Delights.
Dom was yummy and funny as always. I liked Mila a lot.
Overall a really good ending to a much loved series.

.Suzanne Wright is a talented author, and I have enjoyed many of her paranormal books.

However, I think this series needs to be retired. This story is just a big mess, and portions of the plot seem to be some of her old standbys.

Ms. Wright really does create complex characters with depth, and that was the best part of this book.

Amazing!!!! I waited for this book for what seems forever and it did not disappoint. Simply beautiful!

“At that moment, he wanted to own all that passion. Wanted it for himself. Wanted her for himself. And that thought made him straighten in his seat, double-blinking, because there had never been a single time in his life when he’d felt remotely possessive of a woman.”

We finally got the last book in the beloved Phoenix Pack Series, and it did not disappoint. What made this book even more anticipated is that it is Dominic’s book, and everyone has been wondering from the first book who could keep up with this smooth, hilarious wolf.

Well the answer to that question is the fiesty Pallas cat, Mila. She’s stubborn enough not to give into him because let’s face it, he’s perfection, but also witty enough to keep up with his quips.

“Why are you looking so down, Mila? Let me guess—it hurt when you fell from heaven, right?”

“No. But hauling my ass out of hell was a bastard of a climb.”

Mila is struggling with what to do now when her true mate imprints on another. So we get to see the ins and outs of her cat handling that betrayal and if she’s willing to let a player like Dominic into her life after already being hurt. And let me just say that I love Mila’s family! I might be as crazy as Dominic but I want to hang out with them every day!

I’ve always loved Dominic. Funny guys are my thing. Like it’s cool if they’re hot or tough or whatever, but don’t even think about it if you can’t make me laugh. So basically Dominic. But whatevs. We definitely get more of that Dominic we all know and love.

“Roses are red, and so are other flowers. Take off your panties, I just need a few hours.”

However, what I absolutely loved the most about this book is that we finally get to see his vulnerable side and maybe a little bit of what he’s trying to hide with that humor. When trouble finds Mila, Dominic is faced with a choice he’s never had to make before.

“I’ve never needed anyone, Mila. No one has ever mattered to me the way you do.”

Untamed Delights is the final book in Suzanne Wright's Phoenix Pack series. I'm sad to see the end of it, but I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next from Wright.

I've been anxiously awaiting Dom's book. He's the one who constantly tossed cheesy lines at all the women in previous books, but you could tell there was more to him.
Mila Devereaux, a Pallas cat, knows who her True Mate is, and she and her cat are salty because he imprinted on someone else. She wouldn't accept him now even if he did come for her, because she feels he betrayed and abandoned her by choosing someone else. She wants him to be happy, but that doesn't lesson the feelings of betrayal. She's having a hard time living as part of her Pride, since she's in constant contact with her True Mate and the shifter he chose. Dominic isn't interested in finding his True Mate. He wants a partner, and he'd rather do the choosing than have fate choose for him. He's wanted Mila for years, but after they spend a little more time together he knows he has to have her. He sets out to win her and her cat over.

I really liked the way he and Mila chose each other, though I did struggle with the whole fated mates aspect. Dominic choosing to be with her, despite knowing he has a True Mate somewhere in the world was sweet, but I was mildly bothered by the fact that Mila was just okay with it. As someone who felt betrayed by her True Mate choosing someone else, I thought she should have felt some kind of way about doing that to someone else.

That aside, I liked their relationship and watching them come together. I liked watching Dominic fall for her, and go all in. They had great banter and a lot of chemistry. It was also great seeing some of my favorite past characters, though I could have done without Greta and her constant sniping. That was funny 15 books ago. Now, not so much.

I didn't care for the "villains", but then I rarely do when it comes to SW's books. Still, Wright always gets me wrapped up in her world, and this book was no exception.

3.5 out of 5

Untamed Delights is the eighth book in the Phoenix Pack series by Suzanne Wright. It brings to light new faces along with some of our favorite characters from the earlier books in the series. The story continues with threats escalating against the Phoenix pack and some of its members.

This book introduces a rare and vicious breed of cat shifter Mila Devereaux, a singer, dancer and tattoo artist. She protects her family and friends with great dedication. She is put in danger when she comes in the crosshairs of extremists and is targeted due to no fault of her own.

Dominic, the mysterious enforcer of the Phoenix pack, has earned his reputation as an indomitable predator. He does not reveal much about his past and deflects attention by spewing inappropriate cheesy pick-up lines. He feels a strong attraction pulsating between him and Mila and wants her for his own. To do this, he has to battle destiny and extremists who are out to get them both.
Together, Dominic and Mila try to make sense of their feelings while battling danger at every turn to protect themselves and their pack. This book is truly spellbinding. Suzanne Wright creates characters with such depth that you can't help but root for them.

I really enjoy Suzanne Wright's creativeness while writing the paranormal and Untamed Delights was an excellent finish to her Phoenix Pack series (which is one of my favorite of all time). I can always count on a SW to bring me out of a reading slump—10/10 would recommend.

Finally, my favorite goofball of the Phoenix Pack gets a book and he did NOT disappoint. Dom has been one of my absolute favorite secondary characters in this series. The man can deliver a cheesy pick up line like no other.

"As it happens, my Alpha is considering having me committed. Especially since I keep claiming my watch is magic. But it really is.”
She gave him a droll look. “Is that so?”
“Oh yeah.” He glimpsed at his watch. “According to this, you’re not wearing underwear.”
Her brows drew together. “Actually, I am.”
“Really? Hmm.” Frowning, he tapped the watch. “Must be an hour fast.”

But I'd be lying if I didn't admit I was a little afraid to read his book because of this. While Dom was great in small doses, I wasn't sure how the author would pull off an entire book that may be full of his goofball tactics. So color me surprised when I learned that Dom is easily one of the most multi-layered characters I've read in this series. Seriously, y'all, the man's layers have layers, and they're DEEP. You think you know him, but there's a wealth of pain that he keeps hidden under the goofball facade. And if you think you know what that pain is, you couldn't be more wrong.

If there's one thing that I love about Suzanne Wright, it's her ability to deliver some of the sassiest and feistiest heroines ever. And when it comes Mila, she was no exception. I love the cute and fluffy yet vicious dynamic of the pallas cats, and Mila was awesome! This woman can kick some serious a$$ and look adorable doing it.

The story definitely didn't disappoint either. Both Mila and Dom had a super intriguing story line. First with Dom's love em and leave em past coming back to really bite him on the butt. And Mila dealing with the fallout of meeting her true mate but after he falls in love and imprints on her cousin.

In true Wright fashion there's plenty of sizzle in this quick paced and action packed romance. Dom and Mila together were incendiary. I loved watching him really have to work for a female for once. And Mila sure mad him work. This is a woman that doesn't give in easily, but when she does? FIREWORKS!!!

If you've been eagerly anticipating Dom's book like I have been, you definitely won't be disappointed with this one!
