Evie Knight is (ex) CIA, but hasn’t lost any of her skills. When a former team member shows up on her doorstep claiming they are both in danger, Evie goes to Dylan Blackwood, the one person she knows will help, even if their personal relationship is a little mucked up.

Evie is a feisty little thing, with a heart of gold and an unshakeable faith in the greater good. I liked the contrast with her CIA position because it grounded why Evie does the job in the first place. I also enjoyed her family ties, and her sense of humor.

Dylan is my dream hero! He’s not only cool, calm, and mostly collected, he respects Evie and doesn’t stuff her in a corner so he can save the day. He lets her work and plays her supportive backup. He also has feelings and expresses them without losing any masculinity! Evie doesn’t have to hunt down and dig to what Dylan thinks about her.

Anyone who has read Reus knows suspense and romance go hand in hand and Bishop’s Knight is no different! The suspense comes barreling out and doesn’t stop until the end, but Dylan and Evie’s second-chance romance was like lighting a match to dry kindling. These two burned up the pages when they had their chances, leaving raw emotions all over the place!

Reus has nailed it again! Bishop’s Knight is the first book of a new trilogy (yaaaaaay!!!) and I have fallen for the three Knight siblings! I also loved the Red Stone Security cameos 😉. I’ll be waiting on pins and needles to see what happens next!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Oh!Oh!Oh! What a great start to a new series! Evie is an ex CIA agent who just can’t seem to get away from the danger and excitement of the business! Dylan is the man she used to crack one of her cases! Now he wants to be her main case! He has the strength and the love to win! Together they are hot! Can’t wait for the next book.

I enjoyed this book. Full of intrigue and action. Evie has left the CIA but her last assignment cost her dearly. When a former co-worker shows up shot she finds herself back in the line of fire. Add in the man she loves but had to walk away from you have a really good story.

BISHOP’S..KNIGHT...Kathie Rues.
Special OPs mission of three months was to end tonight . Small mafia operation selling weapons to terrorists, wanting to take him out, before it got to be a big problem. Evie worked on the side of grey with the CIA , this wasn’t how it was to be. Her brother Ellis was in hiding, accused of murdering one of his partner’s with the DEA, which she knew wasn’t true, he was being set up.
Another brother in a coma. Then Samantha an operative from her past comes to her, bleeding. An OPs from the past is gunning for them. A man from her past, is the only one who could help, but would he, after she turned him down. Full of action, past memories, and a mission of the past to clear up once and for all.
Given. ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion by Net Galley and K R Press.

This is Evie and Dylan‘s book, it’s the first book in the endgame trilogy series but can be read as a standalone. After years of doing black ops work Evie is burned out! One of her brothers is in a coma and the other one is wanted for murder and in hiding! When a fellow operative from her past shows up bleeding on her doorstep with news that an assassin is gunning for everyone involved with their past op, She’s forced to turn to the one man whose heart she broke! Dylan years ago proposed to Evie and she turned him down flat and walked out of his life! He’s shocked when he finds her on his doorstep covered in someone else’s blood needing his help. He always knew there was more to her then just a pampered princess but he never expected this! This book was really good and it’s definitely a standalone I was a little nervous when I read it was a trilogy but it definitely can be read by itself! This book had a lot of suspense, action, definitely had some steam to it And just an all-around great read! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

Evie Bishop is ex CIA, burned out, and retired. She has returned home where her family is in turmoil. One brother is unconscious in the hospital, another is on the run after being framed for murder. When an ex colleague shows up at her door after being shot Evie has one person she can trust to help, her ex Dylan Blackwood.

This is the first in a new trilogy by the author. This is a good story with suspense and romance. I liked the characters and am looking forward to seeing them in the future books of the series. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

Ooh, I’ve got to say, I loved this romance thriller. What a start to this Endgame Trilogy. I’m taking a shot in the dark here in thinking we’re talking a full on Bishop sibling trilogy! I certainly hope so, that’s where my mind is going. Book 1 is all about ex CIA operative Evie Bishop as she merges past and present, (lies and deceit) with her one true love, as the drama starts to unravel in this high octane drama. Dylan Blackwood (love the name almost as much as I love the millionaire businessman himself), ex military, and ex lover to Evie, still loves her, even though she was keeping so many secrets from him, and when she comes to him for help, he still does right by her, no matter how things ended between them. Great story, great writing, lots of action and intrigue with a touch of romance. I loved it. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Bishop's Knight (Endgame Trilogy #1) by Katie Reus ....What a great start to a new series...thanks to the publisher and #NetGalley for letting me preview and review this book. Evie Bishop (CIA agent...left the agency ..from a very rich family..hiding a secret) Dylan Blackwood (Very wealthy..in love with Evie ..heartbroken when she left him) There is danger, intrigue, angst, treason, some laughs, tears, steamy sex and a cute dog all getting to a HEA...but it wouldn't be a series if Evie's two brothers didn't have their own problems to solve...who is next Ethan who was badly injured in a bombing at his business ..he is scarred and he refuses to see his fiancee...or will it be Ellis who is on the run framed for murder....I just know I can't wait.

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Happily Ever After Wonderful characters Steamy Original Scary Action-packed Witty Informative Great world building Romantic Haunting Unpredictable Page-turner Entertaining Easy-to-read

Evie is from a rich family but went into the CIA. She’s out now but her family is in trouble. Her brother is in the hospital after a bombing and her other brother is on the run for murder. Her friend comes to her with a gunshot wound and the only person she can depend on is her ex. Dylan is extremely wealthy and was heartbroken when Evie turned down his proposal. Now six months has gone by and he still can’t get her out of his head. So when she shows up, he’ll do anything to help her. Will he forgive her after he finds out he was part of the operation when they first met? Will Evie figure out who wants her dead?
New series from Ms. Reus. Sexy. Action. And suspense. Really good. Couldn’t put it down. Will leave you on the edge of your seat.

I'm so excited that there is a new Katie Reus series. This book did not disappoint. I loved it! I devoured it! I want more!

Evie was awesome. I love a heroine who can hold her own. She's ex-CIA and forced to investigate as a civilian with a former CIA agent she has worked with in the past. Two women who know how to kick butt and take names.

Dylan is my kryptonite hero. He's former military, now a millionaire real estate mogul. He's the strong, silent and very, capable hero. He also has no idea that Evie was in the CIA. He gets a new look at Evie when she shows up at his door needing his help.

I was nervous when I read the blurb. I hate that Evie walked away from him but the author did such a good job of bringing them back together. I loved how they both handled things and I wish more second chance was done this way.

I adored Dylan and Evie's story and I can not wait to see what's next!

Dylan is Evie's Knight in shining armor. The fact that she doesn't need one but allows him to be anyway, is my favorite thing about this story.

Yay, a new series by Ms. Reus!

I really enjoyed it. Evie was kick-arse and Dylan was no slacker even though he was a civilian (okay, he was former military bad a$$). Loved seeing some of the Red Stone Security peeps.

I can't wait to see what happens with her brothers. Where is he hiding and will the other one get his head on straight?

Absolutely loved this story. Can't wait for the next sibling's story. Evie had to let go Dylan because of her past. They meet again in dangerous circumstances and this time he won't let her go.

The Endgame has started😍

So first up I’d like to just thank Netgalley, the publisher and Katie for my advanced copy for which I leave my honest review. Second I’d like to say OMG, this book sucked me in faster than the sound barrier breaking❣️ I was honestly going to try and read it over a few days but the pages flew by and the words simply flew off the pages to the point I sat down and I said to my husband....I’m finished reading Katie’s new book, now what?

This book was absolutely fantastic and I loved everything about it. Evie works undercover for one of the alphabet government groups and when an op brings her closer to her home base where her family is, it goes pear shaped after a few months. When a friend turns up out of the blue, with a bullet wound, Evie goes to the one person she knows she can trust, even though she shouldn’t.

Dylan is surprised when the woman he loves shows up unexpectedly asking for help, when he hasn’t seen her in more than six months, with an injured friend. He’s always suspected there was more to her...but now he’s sure. As they both fight to figure out who’s after her friend, her and Dylan fight the chemistry and attraction to each other until it all goes BOOM 💥

A not to be missed series and I can’t wait for the next two instalments💕

Dylan knows when to just let his woman get her way, “I can give you whatever you need.” Hell, why did that sound like it meant something else? She simply sat there, watching him and not answering. He sighed. “Fine. Can I send one of my guys to get your things?” I liked this book, I fell in love with Dylan.
