This is the second book in the Wicked Ways Duet. Ryker and Vaughn had connected in the first book but then things went wrong. There were so many challenges that they had to fight through that it made you wonder if it was going to work out. This is another amazing book by K. Bromberg that is sweet, but suspenseful and makes you want to root for Ryker and Vaughn to be together. Definitely recommend this book.

4.5  Star review of Reveal (Wicked Ways #2) by K Bromberg

Whenever I see the name Kristy Bromberg I know I am in for a great read and Reveal was no exception. This is the conclusion to the Wicked Ways duet, so if you haven’t read Resist, then do not continue, as this book picks up where Resist ends.

From the first to the last chapter, I was riveted to the roller coaster story that Ms. Bromberg wove. I loved the characters of Ryker Lockhart and Vaughn Sanders although at times I wanted to scream in frustration.

There is so much going on in this story with mysteries, secrets, lies and deception. Reveal is an emotional and intense story that had my heart beating so fast whilst sitting on the edge of my seat. An intense, gripping story that sends you on the ride of your life!! To find out what happens, 1 click it, you won't be sorry!

As I have come to expect from her books, this author has delivered strong characters written with depth and an ending that will leave you shaking your head.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher through Netgalley.

Wow!! This is an absolutely amazing conclusion to this duet by Kristy Bromberg! Intense, suspenseful emotional and sexy, the second half of Vaughn and Ryker’s story is everything I hoped for and more! So many crazy unexpected things happen that make this such a heart racing epic conclusion.

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher through Netgalley.

The title says it all will Reveal give us the answers we are desperately seeking or are we still on the rollercoaster ride of secrets, mysteries and cons....
Ryker was the bad guy in Resist and it was pure genius from the author to give us his POV at the start of Reveal. Ryker may have messed up badly and it seems there is no going back and no forgiving until you read and understand why he did the things he did but understanding may not be enough for Vaughn as she try’s to do what’s right for her niece.
This book is an intense story and it will touch you on so many different levels, this story also has its fair share of secrets and surprises so if you think book 1 left you with a book hangover be prepared for an even big one from Reveal. The chemistry this couple share is intense and even when it seems life is destined to keep them apart they always find there way back to each other. This is certainly one of the best duets of 2019 and once again we see how talented this author is as she joins these two books together perfectly. Brilliant must read of the year.

This story was intense and surprising. It was sexy and suspenseful. It had me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what was going to happen next. I loved getting to know Ryker more and I fell hard for this characters. I absolutely cannot wait for more from this author.

The perfect ending to an epic duet! Angst, mystery, plot twists, passion and most of all love. I got things I never saw coming, things I was hoping for and the happiest of endings.

You must read Resist before this one. Vaughn and Ryker are back and still as hot and sexy. Reveal picks up right where Resist left off. I'm just going to say you are in for a ride with this one. I love Vaughn and her strength. She is put through so much much and she just gets stronger with every obstacle thrown at her. Lucy is still a delight and I love her to pieces. You will really love the groveling side of Ryker and his sweet side around Lucy. He is still so sexy even after all his missteps along the way in this one. And let me tell you there are a few. I love how Vaughn and Ryker just fit so well. I loved this serious so much. Reveal is just an amazing read and I couldn't put it down. You need to read the Wicked Ways series.

I read an ARC of the first book in this duet at the end of June and it was left at quite an ending, so I was excited to read this book and continue the characters story! I then received an ARC of this book and read it as soon as I had finished the series I was reading! After reading this book, I can say that I enjoyed it a lot! I felt like the author continued the plot on perfectly and there was a lot in it to keep the plot going and intriguing! The plot also only took me a few sittings to read because I didn't want to put it down and it developed at the perfect pace! The plot had plenty of romance in it as well, which allowed for a few seriously hot scenes between the two main characters! There was a bit of action and suspense, which added to the plot too and made it more interesting! The characters were again amazing and made this book even better! Vaughn was the main female character, and I felt for Vaughn in this book because she did go through a lot and she was blackmailed by a guy who thought nobody could touch him! Vaughn tried her best in this book and she grew a lot! I loved Vaughn in this book and found her to be an understanding character, but was very fiery if she had to be! Vaughn also stood up for herself, even when she was scared! Ryker was the main male character and love interest of Vaughn! I couldn't believe the ending of the last book and the hurtful words that Ryker had said! Ryker had his reasons for saying what he did and this did make sense in a way after he explained it! I felt for Ryker in this book too because he went through a lot with Vaughn when he just wanted her to be safe and not be in danger! He was protective of her too! Vaughn also taught Ryker a lot and she showed him what was important in life and what love was! I loved that this book was written from both Vaughn and Ryker's point of views! I was expecting it to be because the first book was written from both characters point of views, so I'm really happy that this book was too! It allowed for more things to happen in the plot, especially as Vaughn and Ryker didn't spend all of the plot together and were going through their own situations and trying to work through some emotions! It helped me connect and understand Vaughn and Ryker more too! I'm really sad that this book is the final book in this duet because it's been brilliant and I've love every second of reading it! This author has a few books released that I haven't read yet, so I can't wait to give them a read and see if I enjoy them as much as I have this duet! I can't wait to see what this author is going to release next as well! I'll definitely be reading more from her and can't wait to! I also love the cover for this book a lot! I love that it has the same cover models as the cover for the first book and it would definitely draw me to the book and make me read the synopsis! The cover is hot too!

Reveal is Book 2 in the Wicked Ways series by K. Bromberg. The books must be read in order as this story picks up where Book 1 left off.

This story certainly kept me on my toes. Jam-packed with political intrigue, drama, conflict and some pretty intense heat. It drove me crazy not being able to second guess the author and the ending threw me for an unexpected loop.

This series is the first I've read by this author but it won't be the last. I look forward to reading more.

After reading resist I couldn’t wait a second to jump into this one. And it did not disappoint!!! After everything Vaughn worked for Will it be all taken from her? After opening herself up to the only person she has ever trusted be a huge mistake? Can she forgive and believe when the one person she did open up to hurt her in a big way? All I can say is give me Ryker any day!!! He might have totally screwed up but he isn’t going to give up going after what she wants. Just like Vaughn isn’t going to let anyone take what she wants and what she built away from her!!!! Book given to me by netgalley

Reveal, K. Bromberg, Wicked Ways book two

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews

Genre: romance, general fiction (adult)

Confession time: I loved KB's Driven trilogy, which I read years ago, and I've enjoyed several of her follow up novels, so when I saw she was the author of this book I dived in and hit request. Wasn't til it was on my kindle I realised it was second part of a duet. Luckily book one was on KU so I borrowed that – loved it BTW – and went on to this.
What I love in a story is romance, but I want a novel that delivers more than just A meets B, and after a few struggles they live happily ever after. I want my characters to really get put through the mill and KB delivers all that in spades.

I loved Ryker, the type of guy you hate until you see beyond his surface, and when he meets Vaughn he's hooked, though he doesn't yet realise it. When we learn about his background its easy to see how that has influenced not just his career, but his whole way of living, and until he meets Vaughn he thinks he's content. Now he's seeing that he can have more – if he's brave enough to try. Vaughn though, that girl has some real problems....
I adored Vaughn, been through so much with the loss of her sister, with the awful family situation they had, and now she's determined to get custody of her niece Lucy, who has learning issues. Lucy is just adorable and loves Vaughn so much you just want things to work out for them, but life is stacked against them. Its hard already with Vaughn working two jobs to pay off the huge debts she ran up for her sisters medical care. Of course one of those jobs has to be kept quiet, hidden from social services, but that's the one that's bringing in the money.
Slowly the worlds she tries to keep apart start to collide, problems from her secret job start to create real issues to her custody application, and to her safety. She has secrets on all her clients, but some are bigger than others, and one in particular is bringing her into real danger. She can't trust anyone, she thought she could trust Ryker but the events at the end of book one threw that into confusion, and left her distraught and feeling so alone.
This book is action packed, full of drama, of secrets, of issues that seem to come between her and Ryker, even though its clear they are totally in love ( and lust!!!) Can they make it through, will her adoption of Lucy work out or is it all doomed to fail?

I had anticipated a few events but there were some that really threw me out completely, and the action - bam, bam, bam, with scarcely a break before she gets hit with the next problem. I so felt for her, I don't know what I'd have done in the same situation to determine what was the right for her, Lucy and Ryker, but I was so holding out for them.

Stars: Five, a cracking duet, full of scorching romance, and non-stop suspense

Gahhhh Ms Bromberg did it again. I absolutely loved this book. It starts off right where book one ends and just wow!

So I was mad when the last story ended of a cliff hanger and I had to wait to read the next part. That's just me - I prefer a cliff-hanger story only when all the books have already been released. (This is a two part series with this one being the second book.) DO NOT START WITH THIS ONE!!! YOU WILL BE LOST!!!

This one starts exactly where the last one stopped.
Duh! :)
I don't want to accidently type something that might give something away. Just know this one was awesome and a great conclusion to the first book. I need to give it some time and then read these two again back to back.

I highly recommend this series!

There is so much packed into Reveal. Vaughn and Ryker- what a story.

This book- I couldn't put it down. It has great chemistry, true feelings, twists and turns. Simple love that people fight for. K Bromberg gets it all in one book. I love how the story is developed from Resist.

Ryker is complex and grows so much. Vaughn is so torn throughout the book but knows what is important and fights to get what she wants- Her family. Another incredible duet by k. Bromberg!

This book packed a punch. It was fully loaded with all the answers from start to finish. The beginning was a little slow for me because there is a lot of Vaughn being confused in her feelings. You know the typical should I or should I not forgive him. There was some backpedaling on a few occasions. Ryker’s tenacity and because he was completely unrelenting is what finally broke down her walls. There were so many twist and turns throughout the book and the title absolutely lived up to its name. I could not get enough. The last part of the book was hands down phenomenal. Vaughn is a tough heroine. She was not going to be anyone’s doormat. There were times she was going to give up but she persevered and fought for what she wanted. All through this book Vaughn and Ryker really were put through the wringer. They had people coming at them left and right and seemed like they couldn’t catch a break. What an excellent conclusion. Definitely will be a reread for me.

4.5 Stars / 4 Steam Fans

This is the EPIC conclusion to Vaughn and Ryker's story. Their story left us needing answers and K. Bromberg did not disappoint with the craziness that continued between the two. There are some serious twists that some may claim are transparent but I loved the ride. Vaughn was a super strong character and I appreciated that she held on to so much of her independence. I didn't like that Ryker was so gullible for some of the things that happened but I did appreciate that he wanted to support Vaughn. The suspense level for this conclusion was ramped up to a crazy level and I loved it! The sexy parts were sexy and the side characters didn't override the main story between Vaughn and Ryker. I really enjoyed this duet!

Wow, what a page turner!!!

Reveal starts with Ryker's POV of what went down with he and Carter at the end of Resist. And if you think that was a shtf moment, just wait until you read this book.

This novel is the conclusion of Resist so can't be read as a standalone. Reveal is more of the angst, a whole lot more, as well as learning more about these complex characters. The storyline gets tricky and we see what all Vaughn has to lose in her precariously stacked house of cards. We also learn just how evil the villain Carter really is.

I loved the conclusion of Reveal. It wasn't the typical hero saves the day with his vast resources. But, wow it was tense.

Reveal picks up at the same heart breaking moment, Resist left off. All that ensues is the fallout from Ryker's conversation with Carter Preston. Vaughn's life is an extremely delicate balance, more than ever before the walls are closing in and everything is threatening to fall, but now she's nursing a broken heart too. Ryker wants nothing more than to explain himself to Vaughn and earn her forgiveness. Shutting him out so she can focus on Lucy, Vaughn tries to get on with her life with out him. She soon learns that her feelings are hard to ignore, and that maybe she was wrong in her assumptions.

Reveal was intense to say the least, every time I thought things couldn't get worse for Vaughn, they did. There were so many different rabbit trails and characters in the plot and they all tied together so fantastically. I loved Vaughn, admired her drive to do whatever it took to get custody of Lucy. I felt for Ryker, he just wanted to help because he loved her, but inadvertently made everything worse, the heartbreak, the jealousy, the guilt, I could feel it all. And that plot twist at the end, I did not see it coming. I wanted so badly to devour this book, but took my time to savor it, and I'm glad I did. I highly recommend this duet.

I can't believe she did it again! K. Bromberg wrote a book that just blew me away. Again. This is the second Wicked Ways book and it completes the story of Vaughn and Ryker. I can't say anything more than that because I will give too much away. I can say that I did not expect the book to go in the direction it did. I was surprised at every turn and none of the drama was predictable. I did not see the last twist coming. At. All.
Vaughn & Ryker are very flawed characters but their hearts are so big and we see how they grow as individuals and as a couple. Lucy is darling. I fell in love with her. Ryker is swoon worthy. I couldn't get enough of him. He is the book boyfriend we all want. He is vulnerable, at times, and the hero when he wants to be. However, he does it all for love. Vaughn is just a woman who had so much thrown at her and we feel her breaking down and then we see how she finds the courage to stand up for herself and those that she loves. .
This book ties up all the loose ends of Resist. It made me laugh with, get angry with, fall in love with and
forgive the characters. It was one of those stories that sticks with you.
K. Bromberg has been a favorite of mine for quite a long time. I'm not surprised this book was so good. I definitely recommend this book. Read Resist first then read this. You will not be disappointed.
