This is one of the most fun books of Melissa Foster I've read. Cute story, awesome chemistry between Ben Dalton and Aurelia Stark, and throw in a surprise bundle of a baby, and you've got a truly heartwarming and a funny romance.

Sweet start to a new series!

I really enjoyed this book. Loved the chemistry between Rels and Ben. I loved the commentary between the two throughout the book. It had me laughing and liking the couple even more. I loved the storyline and the way Melissa brought Bea’s mother back in the picture, even if it was for a short time. I felt the pain and love of the characters. The ending though was my favorite part and had me cracking up so much!!

I love Aurelia and Ben. I love romances with a baby. I love all books by Melissa Foster. This is a triple win. This story kept me turning the pages, long after I should have been in bed. As always, the writing of Melissa Foster is superb. There are hot, sizzling, steamy parts, romantic parts, parts that made me cry, and parts that made me laugh. Absolutely, a wonderful book!

This trope might be one of my favorites right now. The surprising single dad and his best friend helping him was super exciting to read and I definitely had some amazing moments reading this. I liked how entretaining it was and the low angst in the plot. It's nothing super memorable, the characters lacked depth and weren't very likeable. But it's a good book to read to have a good time!

From friends to lovers, the typical romantic trope. Call Her Mine is a sweet, romantic tale. An enjoyable read.

This story is one of my favorite tropes...long, long time friends to lovers. They've always had a thing for each other but never acted on it. I loved reading this story and the way the two characters came together.

Ben and Aurelia with baby makes three. I laughed and cried during this book especially at the end, mostly happy tears with a few sad ones thrown in due to the circumstances in the end of the book. Bea is going to be loved all of her days with Ben and Aurelia at her side. Ben and Aurelia have been friends forever and when Ben finds his daughter left on his porch, things start to heat up faster than a marshmallow in a fire. Growth, love and coming to terms with sensitive subjects are the glue that makes this book a page turner. Beautifully written with a tiny bit of angst to bring the tears.

This was such a lovely friends-to-lovers story. Some parts of this book had me laughing out loud (cue baby poop explosions) and other parts had me feeling so many emotions. I certainly connected with the new parent journey in this story and I feel like it was adequately represented.

Aurelia is a character that was easy to connect with. She has been pining over her best friend for most of her life but he hasn't shown the slightest interest in being anything other than friends. She decides that it is time to stop pining and start moving on with her life. She buys a business in the next town in hopes to finally move on and distance herself from Ben a bit. I liked that she decided to do this for herself. She wasn't only about her feelings for Ben. She was so many other things. She liked books and literature and she was passionate about them. Ben has been pining over Aurelia just as long as she has been for him. He feels friend-zoned so he has been biding his time and waiting for the perfect moment to tell Aurelia how he feels about her. Only that time never really comes and one day he wakes up to a baby on his doorstep. Literally. Aurelia, being the caring friend that she is, helps him through this debacle and stays by his side. Ben finally confesses his feelings, since no time is the right time, and the two of them have to navigate the new waters of a new relationship and caring for a baby.

I liked the cast of side characters in this. Ben has a large and loving family and several close friends. It was honestly a little hard to keep track of all of them at the beginning and it became clear to me that perhaps these characters had been featured in previous books by the author. Which, of course, they have. So I definitely feel like I need to go back and read these other books.

As far as the romance goes, I liked Ben and Aurelia as a couple but I felt that the whole baby part of the story overshadowed their romance a bit. They definitely have chemistry and excellent banter with one another. The reader can feel the love that they have for each other as well. It just felt like their love came on all of a sudden when it should have had more build up.

Overall, this is a quick and fun read that focuses on family and new beginnings. There are touching moments, humorous moments, and sexy moments all wrapped into the mix. I am definitely going to check out other books by this author and I am excited for the next book in this series!

An emotion-packed book, sweet, entertaining and caring. Well-written with some great characters. A little bit too fluffy for my liking but an enjoyable read nontheless. Recommended

Call Her Mine the 1st book in the Harmony Pointe series by Melissa Foster! First of all I want to say this is a besties to lovers book but has some great twist in it. I loved the Aurelia and Ben story a lot and I did’t want to put it down because I wanted to know about the mother of the abandoned baby Bea. Ben was in love with Aurelia (Rels) for a long time but their timing was just off and he never got to tell her his feelings. Rels loved him too but she decided to move away and start fresh. Then a baby is on Ben’s doorstep! They decide to raise the baby and it did bring tears to my eyes to see how much they loved baby Bea. It took awhile to find the Mom but then you really need to grab tissues to see what happens next! Flossie how can I not mention her she is the Rels’s grandma and has excellent advice. I loved this book and the characters so much!

Melissa Foster is good at writing the friends to lovers story line and this is shown here in this book. Slight twist on it when baby makes 3. Loved all the characters. Sweet and steamy.

Thank you to the author and publisher for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

Somehow I accidentally posted my review regarding LOVE LIKE OURS on this, rather than putting it in the right place.

CALL HER MINE is the first book in MF’s new Harmony Point series, which is a spinoff of Sweet Lake. I was always hopeful Ben’s story would be next so I was thrilled by that detail. The storyline (an unknown baby in his doorstep) is actually covered pretty well. It’s a serious enough topic that I was worried about that.

Another terrific Dalton's romance with this one featuring the hunky man-child and super smart brother, Ben and his bestie, Aurelia. These two have danced around each other for years with their unrequited lust but the love has always been there as best friends. When he finally gets his act together and decides to go after the woman he wants life throws in a twist. A baby on his doorstep! Not the best timing but he's not waiting for Aurelia any longer. She thinks her dreams have come true but no so fast. There's still a baby in the mix and so many questions. Once again this fabulous author has given us a truly sweet and sexy romance with a couple that melted my heart and a baby that stole it. There's always a wonderful sense of family and friends in this author's stories and this one excels in that category when Ben and Aurelia need them the most. Lots of emotion and baby drama along with the swoon-worthy love story. This is one of my favorites of the series. Loved it! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

This story for me started out rough. Ben Dalton is clueless that his best friend Aurelia Stark is hot for him. He becomes on board with a plan in his mind and when he goes to put it in action she moves. To another town.
Aurelia now hoping to move on from Ben is living above the book store wanting to put Ben out of her mind. It would work but Ben shows up on her doorstep with a baby which he has no clue what to do with or who the mother could be. This when for me Ben becomes hard to tolerate. He wants nothing to do with the baby even though he goes to Aurelia and asks for her help. She is also at a loss but is getting after him for his one-night stands and mainly for wanting to walk away from his child, at least that is the way I took it. It is a while in the story until he begins to change and you begin to see hope maybe the two of them might get together. The last part of the book is good.

It was lust at first sight for Mason and Remi. However, she has a stalker and he is her new bodyguard. With sparks flying between them and their attraction reaching boiling point, giving into their desire for each other is inevitable. Will their hearts survive intact when Remi’s stalker catches up to her? Not only was this story passionate, emotional and suspenseful, it was great to catch up with the Dalton family. Mason being referred to as “hottieguard” did make me chuckle.

I’ve heard such good things about Melissa Foster’s books, so I was excited to read Call Her Mine. Two of my favorite tropes—friends to lovers and single dad—in one book! Unfortunately, Ben is also a billionaire—my least favorite trope. But that’s okay—two out of three isn’t bad, right? I certainly won’t say this book is bad, but it didn’t work for me. Aurelia and Ben are both intelligent, successful (billionaire!) people who have been best friends and secretly in love with each other for ages. Well, it’s a secret to Ben and Aurelia, everyone else in their lives knows exactly how they feel about each other. Which brings us to my biggest issue with this story—lack of communication and misunderstandings. For me, this is just a contrived obstacle and I like it even less than I do billionaires. Add in their complete cluelessness and ineptitude with the baby left on Ben’s doorstep, as well as their insistence that only they can take care of Baby B, 24/7, even though Ben is a billionaire working on the biggest deal of his career and Aurelia is in the process of opening a bookstore, and I just had no patience for them. They were cute with the baby, and both fell hard and fast for her, but I didn’t understand why they didn’t ask for help or read a book. As a plot device to create an issue/obstacle for them, it just didn’t work for me. Aurelia was raised in a bookstore, worked in a bookstore, and was opening her own bookstore—why not consult a baby book? There are also other children in the family, so I had a hard time believing they were this clueless. I had a few other issues with the book, mostly small details that didn’t make sense or ring true. Half of their small town knows about the baby, but Ben is keeping her a secret from his parents. While I thought they made some questionable choices, I liked both Ben and Aurelia well enough to hope they would get their act together and confess their love for each other. Unfortunately, doing so lead to some of the most cringe-worthy sex talk I’ve ever read. I had to stop reading the sexy passages because Ben’s sexy talk was anything but sexy. This is the first book in a spin-off series, so fans of that series and Ms. Foster’s other books may enjoy seeing these characters finally get their book (that’s my impression-they’ve been secondary characters in other books, but I could be wrong), but it didn’t work for me.
