Well this was an absolute delight! I’m a sucker for books where we get to see sexy dudes doting on kids and CALL HER MINE was perfection when it came to that! Our leading man, Ben, also doted on his leading lady, Aurelia, and I loved him for that, too. Since it’s mentioned in the description, I’m not spoiling the fact that there’s a baby in this book and she was super duper cute. :)

I loved Ben and I loved Aurelia! I absolutely loved them together...and I loved their little family! I have a lot of favourite tropes, and I tend to read hate-to-love more than friends-to-lovers, and I gravitate toward that more for the snarky banter and the slow-burn chemistry, but CALL HER MINE managed to pull all that off without any sort of hate. Aurelia and Ben are best friends who have both been secretly in love with each other for years...in fact, they’ve both thinking that their counterpart doesn’t like them romantically so they’ve been pining away...but a little surprise, in the form of a baby on Ben’s doorstep, pushes them to admit their feelings and become an “instafamily” and it was so adorable to read. I loved the teasing banter between Ben and Aurelia, their crazy intense and steamy chemistry, and I loved them with little baby Bea...so many swoony and heartwarming moments! And funny ones, too! I’m definitely going to have to go back to meet the rest of the Daltons now too because Ben’s family is fabulous. ;)

If you’re a fan of friends-to-lovers romances, steamy chemistry, and romances where you see the main characters grow in love and build a family together, then you’ll love this one, too. ;)

Call her mine. It's HOT! I LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT. Just when you think you have it figured out it turns out so much better. It’s a great read and good writing.

This just wasn't my cup of tea. I have a hard time connecting to third-person when it comes to romance and the pacing of this was just off. The characters were so immature and although I love the insta-family trope, I just hated how one of them just got to sleep around and kept blaming it on circumstances out of his control.
Not a fan.

This book is so amazing that it kept me on my toes and it makes your feelings feel like you are in a roller coaster of emotions. This book is about Ben Dalton and his best friend Aurelia and the sweetest, cute little baby Bea. The story is a happy one with a very unique happy ending which I love but it also have love, passion, sadness and it's fun to read. It kept me intrigued to know who baby Bea's mother was and the story behind her. I love this book and I definitely can't wait for the next book #2 in the Harmony Pointe series. This is a must read for sure. I received and Advance Reader Copy in exchange of my honest review.

Ben is a billionaire business man who has been in love with his best friend for a long time. Aurelia Stark is an owner of a bookstore and spends time with Ben. A baby is left on Ben's door step and Aurelia falls in love with Baby B. They work together to take care of the baby and try to find the mother. It is heartbreaking and tearful. I loved this story from the start. Ben must learn how to be a good dad. I was gifted an advanced copy of this book and this is my honest review.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has suspense, friends to lovers, and sweet love.

This is Aurelia and Ben’s story. Just when Ben thinks he has a chance of winning his best friend over she moves to a new town. She can’t stay where she can’t have the one, she wants. So, moving will get her out of a crazy situation. But when a baby is dropped on Ben’s doorstep she agrees to help. They decide to investigate and track down the baby mama but will that bring them closer together or will it end up being the end of the dreams they both had of a future together?

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

Although this is #book 1 this series is connected to the Sugar Lake series. These books are about the Dalton siblings. In this beginning series Aurelia is getting tired of just being friends with Ben. She has moved to another town just not to be close to him but yet he is still visiting. As Aurelia is leaving Ben's house she stumbles over a basket with a baby in it. We find out that the note in the baby basket says it Ben. The story unfolds where Ben begs Aurelia to help him take care of the baby. As they are working close to take care of the baby they finally admit their love for each other and begin their romance. We get to meet up with the other couples from the Sugar lake series and see future storyline unfolding in possible other novels. Review on goodreads and amazon

I fell head over heels for this story. I’ve loved watching Ben and Aurelia and their flirting and banter back and forth but this time it’s on. This book was everything. I enjoyed watching them figure out how to take care of Bea (Jane Bea) and I really liked how excited and supportive the family was and I also really liked how they finally came together for the baby and in turn, each other. I'm glad that we got to meet Caroline even though her story was heart wrenching and I definitely cried many tears for her but I’m thankful that she got to say goodbye and make peace with everything. The other part that totally made this book for me was the references to previous books and the ending with Ben recreating Duke’s scene, couldn’t have been better! There are always so many amazing lines in Melissa Foster’s books, one of mine from this book was ‘It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting’. Thank you Melissa Foster for another amazing book. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next.

Ben and Rels are long-time friends who want to be more, but the other doesn’t know. One morning they find a baby on their doorstep, with a note that Ben is the father. What follows is at times funny, sweet, predictable, and all sorts of other adjectives. The characters don’t strike true as real people, but are enjoyable none-the-less. I did not like the ending, but I’m not the writer.

I adore Melissa Foster and Call Her Mine was a perfect example of why. It contained everything you come to expect from Melissa Foster, and she sets the bar high. I loved it!

Ben and Rels are friends but never have made the move out of the friendzone. This was a quick easy read. Friends to lovers with a baby in the mix. These two quite adore each other and it was really sweet to read about and see how their friendship turns to love. Definitely enjoyable!

I usually go for premises like the insta-family, but I was not on board with the main character sleeping around and blaming it on the fact that his best friend was dating someone else. I found the characters immature and just not relatable, which sadly sunk this for me.

I really enjoyed Call Her Mine by Melissa Foster, it's a beautifully written friends to lovers romance and a great start to the Harmony Pointe series.

This is a sweet but sappy friends-to-lovers romance where they admit their love pretty quickly after finding his baby (that he didn’t know about) on his doorstep. There are some funny scenes revolving around dirty diapers, sisters stumbling in while he’s scoring a striptease, etc. and some steamy sex scenes, but there isn’t a lot of action and no new ground broken. The hero’s frequent professions of love start to get tedious, especially since no man is that poetic and lovesick. The only drama is when the baby’s mother shows up acting drunk. Even the resolution is bittersweet. Although it’s a standalone, it takes awhile to figure out who all of the characters are (h/h from previous series that this one is spun off from) and there’s a possible set-up for the next book. Will appeal to Foster’s fans, but is a non-essential purchase.

I received a complimentary ARC of this book from Montlake through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

Call her mine is a different sort of romance. Sort of best friends older brother crush meets surprise baby. Rels is and has been in love with her best friends brother forever. But they are seriously close too, he’s just older than her. Now as adults they do a lot but it’s getting to be too much when she knows he doesn’t return her feelings. It’s time to make a fresh start!

For Ben he’s been in love with Rels too but she was young then how do you make a move? When is it the right moment. When a baby is left on his door step and their world is tossed upside down, he needs his best friends help.

Their adventure is funny, sweet, hot, and chaotic. I enjoyed it a lot.

Jump in on the beginning of a new series from Melissa Foster. Take flight with a fantastic take off. This was a friends to lovers with a bit more. The ins and outs of Ben Dalton and his love for the one person he wanted more than anyone in the world, Aurelia. Aurelia Stark had forever loved Ben and as things move forward in life she makes a decision that she can no longer wait for him to see her right before his eyes. The one things that draws them closer together and that step closer to what they both one get disturbed by a little hiccup.

Bea was not so much a hiccup as a connector piece. She was just what was needed to push both Ben and Aurelia to open their eyes and their feelings to what could and should be.

This one brings all the characters to life and shows ferocity of some while the compassionate side of other. There are characters to love so much you want more of them and then there are those that make you cry. I have to say that I did have to pull out the tissue. Those last five to six chapters just had me wrapped up tight. I for one can say this was another well loved romance from Melissa Foster and a fab introduction to the life in Harmony Pointe. There were also some interesting cameos from some that I would love to see more of. I look forward to Remy and more from Harmony Pointe.

“best friend to lover, insta-family story, 3.5 stars”

First off, I want to tell you that I love Foster, I really do. And if insta-family/surprise baby isn’t your jam then turn around and check out another one of her books. I knew who Ben and Aurelia were before going into Call Her Mine. So, I knew the secondary characters, the family everything. And I loved them!

Aurelia and Ben have been best friends forever but its time for her to move on. She wants more and knows she doesn’t have a shot at Ben. Until a baby is left on his door. Ben has always wanted Aurelia but its never been the right time. When a baby is left on his doorstep will it bring them closer together or further apart?

Now I have a confession, I hate novellas, but I honestly wish Call Her Mine was one. The story was good, don’t get me wrong. But I felt like I could have cut out a good chunk of the middle where they were trying to find their parenting feet. They fell into coupledom extremely easy and never wavered, which is great! But it made me kind of bored, I was waiting for the shoe to drop. And it kind of did at like 90% when we are usually wrapping up a story. Even then with that ordeal I didn’t get the satisfaction from it or all my questions answered.

So, I feel like if she would have cut out some of the day to day struggle and moved the problem further in and gave us absolute resolution there I would have been happier. Even with all that said Call Her Mine is a good book, if you’re into insta-family and insta-love. Because let’s face it, it would feel like insta-love to anyone who doesn’t know these two.

This one started off cute. I mean, the cover alone...swoon.

....but I'm sorry to say, I DNF at 40%.

I don't know why. Cute kid, friends to lovers. But nothing grabbed me.

Sorry. I really tried.
