Love the friends to lovers trope and throw a baby in there and it’s triple the fun. This was a cute, fun light hearted read . Really enjoyed this one and highly recommend. Thanks NetGalley.

The Delight

Call Her Mine was a cute story with some surprises, but not a huge conflict to really throw them off their game. It left me some what confused as if I was coming into a series mid-way, but the series says this is the first book. New to me author!

REVIEW

Call Her Mine is a story of two best friends who secretly love each other, but are afraid to admit it and ruin the friendship. What starts out as the night after a wedding with friends asleep on the couch, wakes up to a baby on the doorstep. Ben Dalton's baby. Or at least that is what the letter says. Aurelia and Ben now have more than their secret love of one another to deal with.

Aurelia Stark has loved Ben since high school and after years of watching him be a playboy and make money, she has decided it is time to move on with her life. She buys a bookstore in a different town and starts renovating it, but Ben's sister gets married, she goes with Ben as his best friend only to find out he has a baby the next morning. Shock of shocks. Being the best friend, she sticks with him trying to figure out who the mother could be all the while her heart is breaking knowing he has been with these women.

Ben Dalton had planned to make his move to tell Aurelia he loves her, but one thing after another gets in the way. Even a baby. He can't believe he fathered a child and cringes when he has to tell Aurelia every woman he has slept with in the last year in hopes of finding the baby's mother and clearing this up.

The two bumble thorough this till Aurelia decides to tell Ben how she feels and runs out instead. This is the last straw and Ben decides it's time he claims his woman. The romance falls into an easy pattern without really any hiccups. The two were made for each other. And now they are falling for the baby they don't know if is truly Ben's.

This is a sweet and sexy romance that is just a little to easy. Aurelia falls into the mother role like she was made for it it and Ben grows attached to the baby and doesn't want to let go. There is a resolution to this issue that you need to read the story to find out.

Decisions have to be made, equipment bought, store to renovate, parenting 101 to get through and so much more. The writing was pleasant and easy to follow, it just lacked the edge I wanted for this situation. It also left me guessing how Aurelia moved away, but really wasn't that far and who all of Ben's sisters were. It really felt like I was dropped into the middle of a series, which makes me think this was a spin off series. Any way, I was lost some, laughing some, ohhhing and ahhing, but never questioning if they were going to have any problems being a couple. And that is where I felt more conflict needed to happen. Me...I don't like drama...unless it's in my story!

I wanted to like this one SO MUCH. The idea of it is so good (and a friend's to lovers trope is one of my favorites) but I got a little icked out by his hooking up with women only when she went out on a date with someone else. I don't expect the heroes and heroines to save themselves and I'm only a little "enh" about sex without feelings, but when he's doing it to soothe his heart (or his ego) it just comes off as wrong to me. To both the women he's sleeping with and his "love".

Call Her Mine is about two best friends who find themselves with a instant family and all the drama to go with it. It was fantastic! I am voluntarily leaving my honest review after reading this arc.

I liked it and it was cute but it was slightly unbelievable.
They way everything moved so fast and neither of them really questioned it.
But overall it was a cute read.

You know what? Delightful is the perfect word to describe this story. Don’t misunderstand, there is tons of emotion contained within these pages, as well as a truly heartbreaking scene that had me tearing up. But you expect that – I’d be disappointed if a book from Ms Foster didn’t deliver that to be honest.

And yet,she doesn’t stop there. These characters, and their environment are lushly described. The whole book is a big, warm hug.

More please.

"Once upon a time there were two best friends, a sassy, sexy girl who loved Converse sneakers and was careful with every penny, and an insanely handsome, rich man who adored her. They did everything together except share the truth of their hearts."

Sexy, fun, sweet and wildly romantic friends-to-lovers/surprise-baby rom-com with fantastic humor, heart and heat. I adored Ben and Aurelia's story and immediately dived into the Sugar Lake series featuring Ben's sisters. I can't wait for more to come in the Harmony Pointe series!

Wow! That was my first thought when I finished this book. Also, this was my first read by Melissa Foster, but certainly not my last.

As I was reading this book, I thought this is so cute. Another surprise baby story (and I do love that troupe) with the Daddy totally lost and confused. But this book was so much more.

Aurelia is her own person. She is not needy, not dependent and certainly not a pushover.
Ben is organized, a perfectionist and always waiting for the right time.

One morning Ben has a surprise on his front porch, calls his best friend, Aurelia . . . hence the beginning of one hell of an adventure. The laugh out loud humor! The antics! The what do we do now moments!

And then . . . the laughter ceases and realization become the central point of this story. That sometimes we must do what seems to be the wrong thing for all the right reasons. After, I laughed my self into oblivion, I cried myself into a stupor.

Melissa seamlessly combines love and heartbreak, laughter and tears, ups and downs, love and hatred. She has also seamlessly earned 5 stars from this reader.

Ben and Aurelia have been best friends since they were teenagers and their feelings had grown but they never acted on them.Their feelings are tested when Ben discovers a baby on his doorstep with a note affirming that he is the father. He has no idea how to raise a baby and he solicits Aurelia's help. This was fun sexy and sweet with the great amount of angst.I have to admit I found the story adorable.Aurelia and Ben were such great characters and their friends-to-lovers romance gave me SO many feels.

This was cute and quick read. Two best friends, who everyone knows should be together but they are hesitant since they don't want to ruin their friendship.

This is a great start to a new series by Melissa Foster.

Ben and Aurelia have been friends for a long time. The attraction between the two is undeniable but neither have done anything about it. They don’t know what to do when a baby shows up on Ben’s doorstep. Thankfully he has Aurelia there to help him take care of the baby. It doesn’t take long for these two to finally realize they have something and go for it.

This was a fun read, a story filled with laughter and moments that warm your heart. I loved this book and recommend it.

Like always great read by Melissa Foster. I just loved the main characters chemistry, the pace of the story was just perfect and I totally enjoyed myself!!

Sweet and sometimes cheesy and other times heartbreaking, this story revolves around a precious baby girl that arrives in the life of Aurelia and Ben at a time where they needed her. Even though initially they both revolted; Ben because he didn’t want the responsibility and Aurelia because she felt it ruined her chances with Ben, this baby was necessary.

Ben and Aurelia have been best friends like forever, and they have feelings for the other. However, due to circumstances, such as other boyfriends for Aurelia and frequent business trips for Ben, they hadn’t found an exact moment in time when they could plan to divulge their feelings to the other. I think it was mostly cowardice, fear of being rejected and losing the friendship. When Baby B arrived (B for Ben), it threw them into such a tailspin that they emerged battered and committed to each other and the baby.

There were some hysterical scenes where a poop explosion happens and they panic and yell and run, and other scenes where the peace and love of a sleeping baby brings them together.

There are no couples conflicts in this book, more like the opening of eyes and hearts to what they mean to each other as they each fall in love with Baby B and commit to her welfare. There are peeks into family members that seem to come from previous stories and the adjustment and learning curve of living with baby. There are sexy times, quickie times that all new parents know intimately LOL, lots of baby bottles and diapers duty. It was fun, tender, endearing, full of family love, and if it was a little cheesy at times, it was OK because it was so heartwarming.

Another scene not to miss is Ben in a g-string! Can’t miss this one! Read it!

I really enjoyed this book. Its the start to anew series, but with familiar characters from her other series. I haven't read the others, but it didnxt take away from this one at all. Ben and Aurelia have been in love with each other forever, but only admit it when a baby is left on Bens doorstep... which is apparently his. Cute, fun read!

I am a huge Melissa Foster fan, and always reach the final page with a smile on my face... and a tissue at my side! This was no different, I had truly ugly tears, but by the end all is good. It was fun too catching up with a lot of friends from Sugar Lake. Who would have expected Piper to be the one who steps up to the plate with baby shopping?

I enjoy friends-to-lovers romances, and this one has an added kick with the baby on the doorstep. Anyone who has faced new parenthood will be laughing as they navigate the unexpected sides that you rarely see in films or TV, but that make up the reality of those early months. The fact that Aurelia had grown up without a mum made the situation more poignant, but led to some important conversations.

For a fairly quick (because I could not put it down), romantic and fun read, this would be hard pressed to beat. I am very much looking forward to more in the series – and hopefully more time in the new bookshop, which sounds like somewhere I would spend a lot of my time!

I loved this fun friends-to-lovers romance and I’m so glad I ignored the blurb and trusted that Melissa Foster wouldn’t let me down. Best friends Ben and Aurelia have been secretly in love with each other forever, but neither has dared risk their friendship for a chance at romance. It’s the unexpected baby dropped on Ben’s doorstep that finally forces them to see each other differently and try for something more.

I love the playfulness in Ben and Aurelia’s relationship. These two feel like soulmates from the first page and it was a joy watching them get together. I also loved Aurelia as a character. We meet her when she’s finally gathered the courage to make her life work for her. She’s a new business owner – full of ideas and anxious about details. She’s also determined to be independent. She’s a character I’d love as a friend and she’s possibly the least maternal mother figure I’ve read in a while. In contrast, Ben is a bit bland and not always convincing as a billionaire financier. For me, Ben’s work is the one element of this story that doesn’t feel quite right. Aside from the surprise baby, Ben is pretty much perfect and I always think perfect is pretty boring.

I’m not a fan of kids in romance and I’m not a huge baby fan in general. Thankfully, the baby parts of this book are far more comical than sentimental. The baby is the catalyst for Ben and Aurelia to re-examine their lives and their relationship – and neither of these two is ready for parenthood. I love the development we see in both characters in this story and I enjoyed the close community that surrounds them.

I absolutely love Melissa Foster and Call Her Mine doesn’t disappoint. This is book 1 in the Harmony Pointe Series. A friends to lover romance with a baby thrown in! Gah!

Ben is a sexy billionaire that wakes up next to his best friend all too often. Yet, he has a strictly friends policy. Aurelia has decided to move on with her life and no longer wants to be faced with the feelings she has for her best friend. So, she decides to make a fresh start by moving to Harmony Pointe and run a book store that her grandparents owned.

When both Ben & Aurelia are fighting their feelings for each other although spending the night together fully clothed, they find a baby on his doorstep. This novel will take you through so many emotions as they try to figure out who the mother is and if this child really is his. I could not put it down!!

I loved getting Ben’s story! I was a huge fan of the Sugar Lake series where we get the Dalton Sisters’ stories. You also get glimpses of Ben, Aurelia, and their chemistry throughout those stories, which is why I was so excited for this one. It definitely lived up to my expectations. First of all, I’m a fan of the surprise baby trope. Second, this friends to lovers journey is messy and sweet! Third, Melissa Foster always add some great laughs along the way. Seriously, i think I have to now revisit the Sugar Lake series, and I’m definitely looking forward to the Harmony Pointe book 2!

Ok at first I wasn’t sure just how well I would enjoy this – but this is a Melissa Foster book we are talking about, but still. Ben Dalton wakes up next to his best friend Aurelia and then discovers a baby left on his door step! First OMG who does that? and secondly OMG these guys are so far into the friend zone that they both cant see what is in front of them!

Ben as a character is one who likes to be in control of things and doesn’t get frazzled easily, so seeing him become all flustered around the baby and lose his cool calming exterior a little made him all the more human. To say he was shocked to find out he was the father was an understatement and initially I wasn’t too keen on his instant denial that the baby was his and he kept calling it, but with Aurelia’s help and a few hilarious moments at the beginning with them both trying to figure out how to look after a baby was true to life. Most parents have 9 months to prepare, Ben and Aurelia had a day!

I was ready to hate on the mother for leaving Baby B, just like Ben was, on the doorstep, but I was heartbroken and teared up with her reasoning and decided you should never judge someone without knowing the reason why.

Call Her Mine was yet another amazing read from Melissa filled laughter and tears – yeah I shed a few, and I love how Melissa can bring out these emotions through her characters stories.

Another 5 star read for me!
