Sasha has always been the mysterious character in the previous books, we never really got to know her, as for most of the books she has just been loitering in the shadows! I was so happy that we got her story and learnt about what made her such a bad ass!

Sasha is floundering and looking for answers to questions that have haunted her for much of her life. So she heads back to the boarding school in Germany that she spent most of her childhood up until she graduated from college. While searching her own clarity, she meets AJ, he is also searching for clarity regarding the mysterious murder of his sister who was also at the same school.

I really liked this cast of characters, from Sasha and AJ to Claire the current student who is looking for escape and the very mysterious Pohl! Once again, it was fabulous to see all the other characters come into play from previous books. I loved how they readily accepted Sasha, AJ and Claire and drew them into the unconventional family that they have created throughout this series.

I will say that it was with sadness that I picked up this one… I have thoroughly enjoyed The First Wives Club series, of which this book was the final installment of and the pre-series (is that even a thing) to this series called The Weekday Wives! But I know that I will love anything that Catherine Bybee writes and so I cannot wait to see what she gives us next!

Thanks to @netgalley and @ for this ARC in exchange for an honest opinion!

4.5 Breaking in and Starting a Book Club Stars
This book is finally about Sasha.. but its also the end of the first wives club.. my poor poor heart. This book exposes so much of Sasha that I don’t think any reader was ready for any of it. Her background was laid out perfectly and sprinkled with the right amount of badassery. I struggled with AJ being the fit for Sasha but at the end of it I think it worked out because it made Sasha a REAL character instead of some Cat burglar no one could ever touch. I also loved that the author let their relationship flow naturally Sasha was not one to just fall in love, get married and have babies in one book… so her character remained pure.
We as readers went out looking for who Sasha was during her own journey to discover who she was and what we learned is we never really knew Sasha this whole series. And it turns out.. she didn’t know herself either because she was also running from herself the entire time as well.

Another amazing, fun and entertaining read by Catherine Bybee. I just can’t seem to get enough of her book. I started reading this book and I could put it down. I was hooked from the very beginning. Sasha is such a badass and reading about her in all throughout the First Wives series, to actually reading about her life was such an entertaining, attention grabbing read. The mystery about the sudden deaths of former Richter students might have intrigued Sasha to help AJ out but soon Sasha learns more and realizes that figuring out how is behind all these murders has become more personal than what she thought. Say it Again was a really fun read and I can’t wait to read more of Catherine Bybee. I hope that there is a book coming that features a story between Cooper and Claire.

I was so excited when I found out that we were getting Sasha's story even though she isn't a First Wife. She has been in this series from the very first book and has been this mysterious woman. She never let anyone close or disclosed anything about herself, but she was always there when anyone needed her. You just knew there was so much to learn about her character.

Sometimes with an anticipated character like hers, the background just can't compare once you learn it. Boy is that not the case here. The author did Sasha justice. When I think of Sasha, I reminded of an older tv show called the Alias with Jennifer Garner, but more badass. I just love a heroine who can can outsmart and take down a person before they even know what's coming. That's Sasha. I loved her!

AJ was nothing like I expected for Sasha, and yet he seemed to fit her perfectly. She needed someone that wouldn't feel threatened by all that she is. He also still needed to be a strong character himself, as well as be patient to be able to breakdown all those walls she had. It was a tall order, but he fit it seamlessly.

There was an unexpected side character that really added a lot to this book. I think that was such a brilliant move of the author. It brought more heart to Sasha and was another piece to broke down those walls she had. I would love to say more but I liked that I wasn't expecting that character, so I'm going to leave it.

I loved seeing all the gang from all the previous books again. This is one of my favorite series and I'm completely satisfied with how the author concluded it. I highly recommend this series and I know I will be re-reading it again and again.

This ARC was courtesy of netgalley - all thoughts and opinions are mine and unbiased

This author is new to me and this is the last in the series. I didn't feel I missed out on anything by not reading the others but having enjoyed this so much I am definitely going to seek out the others here.

a great summer read - absolutely loved this !!

I absolutely love everything about Catherine Bybee’s writing, especially the strong heroines and alpha males. That being said, I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about Sasha’s love interest, as she had been such a strong character in previous books. But in pure Bybee fashion, I was drawn in and rooting for Sasha and her hero. I adore how one gets to ‘catch up’ with previous book characters within each series. My only complaint is that this is the last in the series, but that only makes me excited for what is next. I for one cannnot wait!

I received an ARC from netgallery and am voluntarily reviewing this book.

I was extremely excited that Sasha was finally getting a book because I wanted to know much more about her. Her relationship with AJ was what she needed in her life to help keep her grounded and all that they went through to be together safely was well structured within the book. I think that Claire and Olivia have a good thing going and would make a great story as a spin-off to this series. I hope to see more of these women from Richter because they definitely have skills that would bring any man to their knees.

While I'm sad that Catherine Bybee's First Wives series is coming to an end, I can't think of a better way for it to go out than for us to finally get the book that so many of us have hoped we would for so long. Throughout the entire series, Sasha Budanov has been the enigma. While not actually a member of the First Wives Club, she was always dropping in to help her friends when necessary. We quickly learned she was a loner and that she was as capable as anyone, but that was about all we knew. In this book we finally get to know what makes the elusive Sasha tick.

When Sasha returns to the military-type boarding school that she attended in search of answers about her childhood and even more about what direction she needed to go next in her life, she unknowingly set off a chain of events that was even more far reaching than she could have imagined.

AJ Hoffmann is searching for answers of his own and he believes that Sasha is just the person to help him. He's discovered that several students from Richter, the school Sasha attended, have ended up dead, his sister included, and he believes they are connected. At first Sasha is incredibly guarded and wary of this sinful stranger, but she quickly realizes that he may be on to something and he also may be just the person she needs in her own life.

As Sasha and AJ delve deeper into what happened with the former students, they are also discovering that there are feelings developing between the two of them, something that is completely foreign to Sasha. Will she be able to trust AJ and all of her friends to help her figure out the secrets that the walls of Richter hold? And will she finally be able to hear the three words that have alluded her for all of her life?

I enjoyed this book so much. I was on the edge of my seat just waiting for the next thing to happen and I loved how the usually unflappable Sasha was riled up by AJ and how he was able to see through her right to the heart of who she is. Like I said, I'm sad this series is over, but it's been an amazing run and I have no doubt that whatever Catherine Bybee has for us next will be equally as entertaining!

Just when you think Bybee cannot top herself, along comes Say it Again. By far the best book in the series by a mile and the rest of this series has been that good. Thank you, Catherine for the best read of the summer!

Sasha & AJ together was everything! I am so glad Sasha finally got to tell her story!

Catharine Bybee really delivers a great story that reminds me why I fell in love with her writing years ago. I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough!

I highly recommend!

I love everything Catherine Bybee writes and this definitely falls into the LOVE category. Sasha's story was one we've all been waiting for but it always makes me sad to see the end of a series. What will I read next, Ms. Bybee??

If you love romance mixed with some excitement, this is the series for you. But always, start at the beginning... the VERY beginning is even better.

Thanks to Montlake Romance, NetGalley and Ms. Bybee for the ARC is exchange for an honest opinion.

This is the last book in the First Wives series and I'm a little depressed about that. I really enjoyed reading this series and all of the tie ins from previous books and characters. Even though our main character Sasha is not really a first wife she is a major character that has been in this series. We get to see a little behind the scenes with Sasha and what drives her.

The other main character, AJ, meets Sasha and I love how he holds his own with Sasha. He is a good match for Sasha and pushes her out of her comfort zone.

I received an advance copy from Net Galley and this is my honest and voluntary review.

I don’t think I have the words to possibly convey my love for this series and for Sasha! In all of romanceland I highly doubt that there is a more badass heroine than Sasha. This book is everything I hoped it would be....mystery, suspension, steamy scenes, the whole gang reunited and of course a HEA. I always worried that Sasha would forever be the lone wolf so I couldn’t be happier for the way this series end. I can only hope we get to see more of these characters in the future....hopefully in Claire’s book!

Having read the first and now the last in the series I have to say the author has the ability to write stories that are strong romances and a balance of romance, action packed story with fast paced motion that will have readers up late into the night needing to find out what happens to the characters they are rooting for.

The characters are interesting, the author has the ability to take heart breaking stories and turn them into hero people can root for.

The character development move quickly their are a lot of characters but the author keeps the story moving forward keeping readers from getting lost

The story can be read as a stand alone without readers getting lost. Action pack, romance, steamy romance, guns, knives and friends that will always be there for each other.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher Montlake Romance for the advance copy of Catherine Bybee Say it Again

Sadly, this is the last of the First Wives Club series, but it ended with Sashas’s story and I loved it. While Sasha was not part of the First Wives Club, she did have an integral part of the series. Always a loner, seemingly coming and going in the darkness of night helping her friends. Yet when she tries to find out more about herself, she finds a man, AJ, who is also troubled by his past. As their past intertwines with each other, the two together make an undeniable force to be reckoned with.
This story has lost of mystery, action, and steamy romance and has made it in the top of my reading list for the year. Catherine has done an outstanding job, as usual, and should be on your “must read” list.

Sasha Budanov has always kept to the shadows, always on the alert for danger. She doesn’t get too close to those she protects – she doesn’t know how, after her lonely upbringing as an orphan in a militarized boarding school. Now she has eliminated the constant danger that followed her whole life she feels lost. She decides to return to her old school to try to decide what her next move will be. Meeting American AJ Hofmann starts her on a new dangerous path where she will discover the secrets buried in her past and finds she can work with another if it’s the right person. Exciting and gripping, as expected from Catherine Bybee. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The First Wives books, by Catherine Bybee, are among my favorite books ever. These women are tough, smart, and beautiful. And Sasha (though technically not a first wife) has been my favorite of all. She is kick-a$$ and I am so glad she finally got her own story. I enjoyed seeing a bit of what made Sasha who she is. I highly recommend this and all of Catherine Bybee's books.

I received an ARC of Say It Again by Catherine Bybee for an honest review. I loved the book and was so happy that Sasha got her book and her happily ever after. Once again Catherine Bybee has delivered another amazing book. I could not put it down. Say It Again, helped remind me how blessed I am to have had loving parents. Say It Again is Sasha Budanov Petrov’s story. Sasha is the jack of all trades, kick ass heroine who’s been in all the First Wives series silently protecting Trina and her friends. Sasha returns to Richter, the German military school, boarding school, prison where she was raised. She returns to Richter looking for new direction in her life. Sasha meets A.J. Hofmann in a local bar. A.J. is a bad boy, who gets his kicks stealing high end cars. He is in Berlin searching for answers as to who murdered his sister Amelia in Washington, D.C., a Richter alumni. A.J. is convinced that Amelia's death is somehow linked to Richter and wants Sasha's help to solve her murder. Geoff Pohl offers Sasha a job where she can use her skill set as a paid assassin. She turns down the job offer and puts her life in jeopardy. With the help of Reed and Neil, Sasha tries to figure out who murdered Amelia, along with the help of Claire, a Richter runaway. As Sasha and A.J. get closer to finding who murdered Amelia, they also get romantically closer. It was a beautifully written story for Sasha, filled with all of Catherine Bybee’s normal bittersweet moments, plot twists and surprises. I really enjoyed seeing the softer, gentler side of Sasha. Say It Again is even more bittersweet since it is the last book in the First Wives Series. I loved catching up with all the other first wives members and of course Neil McBain. My favorite part were the names that Lori and Reed picked for their twins. Also, loved how the cover picture and the book title get incorporated into the book . Loved the book, so sad for the series end.

Loved this book!! This is Sasha’s story and the last in the “First Wives” series. Have waited a long time for Sasha’s story and was not disappointed. Sasha was always in the background of the other books and that was the way she wanted. She was an orphan, a loner and had never really known friendships or love. When she met AJ, there was a spark there but she really didn’t know what to do with it and didn’t want to know. Sasha did not do relationships. AJ was bound and determined to break through her cold heart and show her there were people out there who really loved her. The storyline was great and kept you on the edge of your seat the whole way through. Couldn’t put the book down until I finished. Highly recommend this book, as well as the whole series as the characters from the other books are intertwined in this book. Thank you Catherine Bybee for another great book! Enjoy!!

The central character in “Say It Again,” the fifth entry in Catherine Bybee’s First Wives Series, is the always enigmatic and aloof Sasha Budanov. Keeping in line with Sasha’s character, this outing is more romantic intrigue than pure romance or romantic suspense. It was virtually impossible to put down after what seemed like a bit of a choppy beginning.
Sasha, bored and feeling at loose ends, returns to what amounts to the only home she really knew growing up, Richter, a boarding school that is “half education, half prison, and half military training,” to quote Sasha. At a bar, Sasha encounters AJ Hofmann, who later implores her to assist him in discovering who murdered his sister, also an alumni of Richter, as well as one of her roommates, in separate events. Though others discount there is a link, AJ is sure the two deaths are related and connected to Richter. Sasha knew his sister and her curiosity is piqued. AJ’s instincts prove correct but the hows, whys, and who behind it all make for novel full of twists, turns and unknowns. Along the way, Sasha picks up not only a romantic interest in AJ, but a surrogate younger sister, Claire, a student at Richter who, like Sasha, is an orphan who knows nothing about herself or her family. Claire is a breath of fresh air and very likable. AJ has a murky past of his own, making him an interesting match for Sasha. An orphan, Sasha has always viewed herself without family and close friends. In this book she finally learns that family is not always defined by blood and that she has more friends than she ever realized.
I always find Catherine Bybee’s books very enjoyable, and without fail, I am eager to read any new releases. This book is no different and I recommend it to pretty much anyone but especially to those who enjoy romance, romantic suspense and a good story.
I was given an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions stated are solely my own.
