This was filled with so much sugary goodness. It's low angst, funny with a protective alpha and a sweet heroine that you can't help but love. This is my favorite type of a light read. It's stress free but still delivers what I want in a book.

Tyler is a take charge alpha who knows what he wants and he wants Leah. Leah is a total sweetheart. She's the type of heroine that everyone just loves to be around. She has had some bad luck with past boyfriends and now she is taking her grandma's advice. No more chasing men. If they want her, they have to make a move and Tyler is the right man for the job.

We got so much couple time which I love to see in the books I read. There is also some really great side characters as well as some cute scenes with kids. I highly recommend this book, especially to readers who just want a fun, low angst read.

I loved Tyler and Leah. Tyler is an alpha man all the way. The story is cute. I really enjoyed it. This author can pull you in and not let go. Can't wait for more. Thanks Netgalley and Montlake for the arc.

So this is my first book by the author although I did buy another of her books a few weeks ago but haven't gotten around to reading it yet.

I did like this. I think I have a thing for Alpha males, and Tyler was definitely that. He was protective and knew what he wanted, and that was Leah. I also seem to have a thing for backwards baseball caps. I just grew to really like Tyler. He seems like the perfect guy and Leah probably couldn't ask for more.

The romance was cute, the whole they were a couple before they actually got together with all the meals and the touching. It was sweet to read how quickly it progressed and how believable it was.

As for the incidents that kept happening after they got together. Well, I figured out who it was after Bruce had his "taken to the compound" part and then I was just more sure after everything else. That characters just seemed like the type.

As I've mentioned previously, I like a bit of angst in my stories and this didn't really have any. I may have been rooting for the couple because of how cute together they were but I didn't get upset on their behalf when things were being set on fire/trashed. I like to get emotionally attached to characters and I will cry when they do, get angry for them/with them. I didn't get that with this.

Any time ARR comes out with a book I have to have it... and when she announces a book I literally have ants in my pants until it comes out lol.

I was really looking forward to the start of this series and I’m happy to report that I was not disappointed. Leah and Tyler are awesome together!

Leah was pretty funny and I love how flippin’ tough she is... totally a bada$$ ;)

And Tyler... swoon... Tyler was everything! I loved how he low-key alpha’d (yeah I made that up but Tyler is worth making up new works for!!!) Leah... he was super stealth mode with the woo-ing... but then when he saw that he needed to be more direct he wasted no time claiming what was his.

This story was sweet, funny, and steamy... basically everything I come to expect form ARR. I can’t wait for book 2!!!!

Talk about the perfect guy - Tyler is almost too good to be true in this book! That’s really the premise of this light, funny and hard to put down book. The story follows Leah and Tyler, two neighbors who have combustible chemistry from the moment they meet (which is a hysterical meet cute featuring a cat named Mouse). Much of the book is told from Leah’s perspective, and she’s not sure what to think about the amazing and sexy guy who lives next door to her. Tyler keeps inviting himself over, they cook dinner every night, spend nearly every free minute together and she swears he keeps flirting with her... but he never tries to kiss her pursue anything more. She’s tired of men who play games with her feelings, so Leah decides to wait him out and see if he is actually interested in more.

This book doesn’t play by the rules of the typical romance novel - our couple spends scene after scene together, leading with friendship and establishing a deep connection. I found myself looking at the progress bar on my Kindle thinking, whoa how are they so close already? I’m not sure how to describe it, but this book moves at its own speed and that really kept me on my toes. There were times when I was just waiting for the other shoe to drop because I liked Tyler so much - and Leah feels the same way. When NetGalley offered me an ARC in exchange for an honest review, I recognized this author but had never read any of her books before. I will definitely be changing that in the future, because her writing is great and the characters are extremely likeable and relatable.

Sigh. It has been a long time since I read a book with an Alpha in it and Tyler was all Alpha! Loved the way he wormed his way in and would not take no for an answer, Leah was great too - she had been burnt before and was set that the next time that the man would do the chasing and chase Tyler did. They were great together and the family and friends were all great characters. This book was swoony romantic, with great humour and a little mystery thrown in. I will certainly be reading the next book in the series.

Catching Him is the highly anticipated first installment in the new rom com series called How to Catch an Alpha by the queen of insta love stories and OTT Alpha heroes - Aurora Rose Reynolds. This amazing book was the perfect mix of sexy, funny and entertaining. I loved everything about it - from the well-paced and engaging plot to the playful humor and the charming and intriguing characters. Aurora truly outdid herself here and delivered a story about a kind-hearted, sweet single woman in her early 30ies who has long ago given up hope of finding the one until she catches the attention of the hot guy living next door. The message of this story is that although we're all desperately searching for love, love sometimes finds us on its own when we least expect it. The dating scene these days is, to put it mildly, complicated and finding your soulmate is a true challenge. But regardless one shouldn't settle for less in order to not be alone.

Leah Emerson is a successful hairdresser and working along her mom and grandma in their salon. She is living with her naughty and full of attitude cat called Mouse. Since Leah is done making the moves in a relationship and all the game-playing and confusing mixed messages, she is currently not looking for a man. Although her next door neighbor is very tempting with his smiles, possessive touches and stolen kisses.
Tyler Duncan moved from Tennessee to Mount Pleasant, a small town in South Carolina, after a friend of his who owns a construction company offered him a job as a foreman. Tyler is cocky, charming and he always goes for what he wants in his life with a steadfast determination. And he wants Emerson - heart and mind. Even his dog Bruce adores her. But Tyler is not the only one wanting her. He needs to convince Leah to trust him and to prove that he's a guy worth falling for.

I'm so besotted with the hero and heroine of this fantastic story. They were such interesting and relatable characters. Leah is so loving and caring - with her pet, friends, family and customers at work. She has everybody under her magical spell without even realising it. Leah is a woman you would want as a best friend; who is reliable and always there when you need her without asking questions. No wonder that Tyler wanted her from the moment he met her. And trust me guys their first encounter was absolutely hilarious and one of my favorite scenes in the book. I appreciated that Tyler made such an effort to win Leah over without beating around the bush. He knew that she was worth it. I truly worship the ground Tyler walks on. He is loyal, hard-working, honest. Leah describes him as "every hope, dream, and wish wrapped up in the perfect man". Therefore it's not surprising that she fell head over heals for him. I loved their flirty banter and the intimacy between them. Their sizzling chemistry inside and outside the bedroom will set your reading device on fire!

Catching Him is hands down a read you don't want to miss out on. It's a must for every avid rom com reader who also loves a little bit of suspense factor thrown into the romance. I'm already hooked on this series and can't wait for the next book. I'm sure that Aurora will as always knock our socks off with her incredible talent. I'm giving this gem 5+ well deserved stars.

I just finished reading one of the funniest, sweetest and just overly perfect love stories I ever had the pleasure to read, Catching Him, from the amazingly talented Aurora Rose Reynolds. When I heard that she was writing another series for Montlake Romance, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to get my hands on it. And let me tell you that it was worth the wait! Aurora nailed this book in every sense of the word and proved once again, why she is the queen of happily ever alpha romance! I wonder every time how she comes up with all these characters and plot lines and always strives to give her readers her best work. I more than enjoyed being immersed into this story about two people unexpectedly finding love in their early thirties. Both didn't play any games and knew exactly what they wanted. I hate nothing more than too much unnecessary drama. But luckily there was nothing like that here!

Leah Emerson is young, beautiful and single. She's a successful hair stylist with an own house and a naughty cat called Mouse. Looking for a man is not high on her priorities list. It's not like all women need a man to be happy, right?! Especially not such as cocky and arrogant Tyler Duncan. This delicious guy is way too charming and sexy for his own good. After a disastrous first encounter, Leah hopes to never see him again. But unfortunately for her, he’s her new neighbor next door and can't be easily avoided. Especially not after he shows up constantly at her door with his cute dog Bruce.

Tyler Duncan was always determined and never had problems going after the things he wanted. He's recently moved from Tennessee for his new job at a construction company. From the moment he meets his stunning neighbor, he decides to make her his. Unfortunately for him, someone else wants Leah too. Tyler will do everything in his power to protect the woman he’s falling in love with, while proving he’s the kind of guy worth falling for. Can their new found happiness prevail against all odds?

Oh boy how much I adored Tyler. He was the epitome of an alpha male: sexy, confident, protective and possessive. And to top that all, he was good with kids and animals. Marriage material anyone?!? I would have said yes to him in a heartbeat. The way he loved and cared about Leah made me swoon hard.

Leah was sweet, compassionate and a little impulsive. But Tyler loved that about her. She was a loyal, gentle soul with a big heart and the best auntie to her niece and nephews. I loved her so much! She deserved a guy like Tyler in her life. Their chemistry was out of this world!!!

Aurora didn't only create two perfect main characters, but also some loveable side characters like her best friend Cassie, her parents and her two brothers! Even the pets were adorable and made me laugh out loud. I strongly encourage everyone to read this amazing book! I promise you, it will be worth your time and money. I'm putting this beauty on my most favorite reads shelf and giving it 5 stars.

I really enjoyed Catching him the first instalment of Aurora's new series.
It was very sweet, Tyler OMG! he is just adorable but at the same time still very Alpha.
I really liked Leah she was sweet and full of love wanting the best for everyone but it wasnt over the top or annoying like some sweet female characters can be.

I found the story very heartwarming, funny and very easy to follow and read.
I did read it in one sitting.

If read ARR, you know how her books play out. Tyler and Leah were cute, maybe too cute. There was a little biota drama, but nothing HUGE.

I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review. Leah has a crazy cat that just doesn’t want to stay inside. As she chases him into the house next door she shocked to find her new neighbor. Neither Leah nor her neighbor Tyler were looking for love but her crazy cat and his adorable dog seem to have other ideas. While she initially wasn’t impressed with Tyler’s attitude she can’t help falling her him. While his is an alpha male he truly is the ideal boyfriend all women want, smart, successful, nice and lets face it, sexy. There are lots of steamy scenes between the two but also lots of laughs. This is a nice quick read with plenty of heat to keep you happy and a nice HEA. 5 stars

OMIGOSH!! What an incredible start to this new series. ARR remains the QUEEN of ALPHA men. Catching Him is sooo freaking fun. I loved everything about it. Tyler is the new guy in town. He appears to be the typical alpha he's the hot construction worker with the big dog and big truck. He's not typical though he's the right amount of alpha and that big dog of his is a big softie. Leah is the cute, sassy hometown hairdresser with a trouble maker cat. From their first meeting, these two had me cracking up. They have the back and forth banter that I LOVE. I enjoyed the storyline and the secondary characters. I can't wait for more!! She might as well take my money now because these babies will be on my shelf. I can't hide my orders though, the packages are lovely, which is why my husband can always recognize them.

I love this author’s books and this one did not disappoint. The relationship between Leah & Tyler was brilliant and is was great to read a book with a happy relationship, where they are committed to each other without major conflicts.

I’m looking forward to more books in this new series, there was a couple of supporting characters who I’m sure will make great follow up books.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the arc,

I absolutely love Aurora Rose Reynolds books and this one is no different. Catching Him is funny, sweet, cute and had a little bit of drama sprinkled in to keep me interested. I love a sweet alpha male and that's exactly what Tyler is. I loved Leah, she stood up for herself and she was very relatable. I can't wait for the next book in this series!

If there is one authors books I look forward to reading, it’s Aurora’s!! She has a way with her writing that captures the readers eyes, and pretty much captures their mind until they finish reading (at least this is what happens to me)

I LOVED catching him, I loved how Leah and Tyler first met, the instant chemistry when they first saw each other. It’s a funny, lovable story with added gorgeous alpha-ness and lickable abs!! I can’t wait for more in this series!!

A nice romance novel to read after work. I loved that he gave them time to get to know each other as friends before they decided that they wanted more. That Charles was the one behind the fire and break in was a bit too predictable. But the characters are well written and it's a very sweet book. Tyler is just swoon worthy. How he's there for her and brings her food is plain adorable. The chemistry between the characters was definitely there and I really enjoyed reading it.

Aaaah!!! Too cute!! Sometimes I thought that the characters and the way everything worked out was too perfect, but everyone needs a light read every now and then :)

I loved Leah- she's someone with a lot of love to give and isn't afraid to show it, which I admire a lot. She was also super relatable!! I don't usually highlight lines in my books, but I found myself doing this a lot because of her! I also gained a lot of respect for her when I realised that she wasn't afraid to stand up for anyone- and that includes herself. So, as you can see, it was hard not to root for a happy ending for her.
As for Tyler...like I said, he was maybe too perfect for me to get fully invested in him, but he was definitely a good guy who adored Leah and that was nice to see.

The support system the two of them had was heartwarming. I love the banter between big families, and I also adore seeing such loving people being loved and supported in return.

The book moved a bit slow in the middle, but the cuteness of Leah and Tyler got me through it. Overall, a light and easy read that I would recommend to people who want a dose of absolute cuteness!!

Holy moly was this another great read from Aurora Rose Reynolds! Fantastic characters that you either want to be, or want to be friends with! Loved how this book didn't let me go. Full of alphaness that doesn't relent, suspense that I love, and humor galore. A must-read!
