Loved this story. The way Tyler and Leah came together was funny and classic. Boy meets girl, girl is annoyed at boy, boy sweeps her off the feet. Tyler is a true alpha with out going over the top. And Leah is a tough as nails lady who loves to let Tyler take the lead.

Leah & Tyler's story is hilarious, sweet, and fun, with a bit of suspense thrown in. I LOVE this couple so much! They start out as friends - with Tyler doing his best to guide them in a timely fashion to more. *grin* They have awesome pets that try to steal the show, and both families are also quite fun to read about! I love the supporting cast. This was just an all around fantastic read!! : )

This book is the best of Aurora Rose Reynolds. Alpha male, strong heroine, cute animals, a touch of suspense, and Instalove, it has it all. I loved both Tyler and Leah! I hope to see much more from this series!

Catching Him by Aurora Rose Reynolds a five-star read that you will want to catch with both hands. This is the first novel in the How to catch an Alpha and I am so excited for number two, this was so cute and funny and just simply amazing. You will get swept up in the drama and taken away to a cute place with amazing neighbours. Tyler Duncan is just the man you need in your life and the fact that he has a super cute dog just makes it all the more perfect. He is just the man that Leah Emerson needs in her life and this story just goes from strength to strength, the more you read the more you will get hooked and the drama will unfold and just suck you in. There is drama galore but its well done and true to the story, This is one story that you can’t miss.

Can I give this book six stars? Is that possible? It's our blog, I can do whatever I want. In all honesty, six isn't nearly enough for this new series by Aurora Rose Reynolds. Real talk. I told myself no series will ever come close to holding my heart as long as her Until series has. That's right, current tense. We all say "I'm calling into work sick" on book release days, right? Well this is the one author that I would ACTUALLY do that for. And now that I've read Catching Him, I can say with complete confidence - it is my new favorite ARR book. Oh God, I feel like I'm betraying Nico and Harlen by saying that. But it's true. Tyler has taken over as top Alpha man.
Story Line: Leah is 30 ish (once you hit 30, everything ends in ish, just sayin') and has her life together. Everything except her love life, it seems. She is a successful hair stylist/dresser. She owns her own home and has an incredibly moody kitten. A moody, skittish kitten that causes a hilarious meet-cute with her new next door neighbor - Tyler, and it's just uphill from there. They're neighbors who become friends. And then friends who become so much more. I could not love the chemistry between Tyler and Leah any more than I do at this very moment. Their characters are the kind of people this world needs. Leah is so freaking positive about everything in life. I adore her and want to strive to be more like her each and every day. And Tyler is just as incredible. He's hard working, devoted, passionate and driven. Oh yeah, and hot AF. These two are what this world needs more of. As sad as I am that a) I've finished their HEA and b) that they're fictional characters, I was left with a feeling of determination. Their relationship taught me to always, always look for the good - in every situation. And trust me when I say this, it's not all rainbows and unicorns for these two. Oh no, there is suspense and some serious mama drama. But in the end, the heart palpitations were totally worth it.
Interaction: I think I have a massive girl crush on Leah. I loved her inner monologue so much. I'll say it once, I'll say it a thousand times - she's an amazing person. It takes someone incredibly strong to face what she does and to handle each and every obstacle with grace and compassion. Throw in her sassy mouth and she's the total package. See? I know y'all have a girl crush on her now too. Each and every scene where Tyler and Leah are together is pure Disney Christmas magic. Their communication with one another is flawless, realistic and down to earth. They are about as real with one another as it gets. Don't get me wrong, Tyler is all Alpha and lets that be known. But instead of Leah handling it kicking and screaming like some other heroine's we know, she takes that demanding personality in stride. Insert emoji heart eyes here. If you were ever wondering if it were possible to write a story about an alpha hero and his leading lady that is truly realistic - look no further. You've found it.
Laundry: Sweet baby Jesus, hold my wine. Tyler deserves a moment of silence as we all take a moment to appreciate his abilities in the laundry department. You're going to wish you were Leah, ladies. Their physical attraction has just topped both Sophie and Nico AND Harlen and Harmony. It's THAT good, folks. So, where as Tyler may not be covered in tattoos or be a smoking hot biker man, he proves to all us, he has much, much more to offer.
Depth: From the first paragraph of this book, I was right there inside the book. It felt like I was Leah's roommate at times because I was that invested in the story. Or maybe I was just the creepy neighbor across the street eating popcorn while watching this love story unfold before my binocular wearing eyes. I have no regrets. As much as I wanted everything to be smooth sailing for my new favorite fictional couple, I knew ARR wouldn't allow that. So, without giving too much away, just prepare yourself for the intensity of their journey. There are unexpected twists, people who are less than expected and family bonds so strong, it makes me heart convulse with love for them. No family, no one person for that matter, is perfect. There are two sides to every coin and my girl Leah teaches us that.
Catching Him will leave a lasting impression on your soul for years to come. It is filled with goodness and light mixed with darkness the world threatens to spill over into our happily ever afters. Tyler and Leah are the power couple we all strive to be and prove that anything is possible. This book has changed me forever. I can't wait to see what's next for this amazing new series.

I really enjoyed this story. Two neighbors meet each other and very soon become friends and then romantic partners. Tyler clearly falls for Leah as soon as he meets her and he treats her so well. There really are no complications keeping them from falling in love and acknowledging that. That was rather refreshing - no author-created plot developments to stop two people who love each other from deepening that relationship. There are some outside, peripheral problems, but mostly this is a story of two good people falling in love.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

I've read almost all of this author's books and I've loved every single one of them, so I always look forward to a new release from her! I was really excited when I received an ARC of this book that I bumped it right to the top of my TBR list and started it as soon as I had finished my current read! After reading this book, I can say that I loved it a lot! The plot kept me desperate to read on and find out what was going to happen next and it developed at the perfect pace! There was a lot of romance in the plot too and I loved the pace it developed at and that the characters didn't jump into a relationship and got to know each other first! The romance allowed for a few seriously hot scenes between the two main characters too! There was a bit of action and suspense in the plot too, but I would have loved for this to have gone on for longer and been a bigger part of the plot! The characters were also amazing and made this book even better! Leah was the main female character, and in this book she met her love interest under some very funny circumstances lol! I loved Leah in this book and she was very easy for me to connect with! She had a good job and provided for herself too! Leah was also very loving when it came to her love interest and she was always there for him and taught him a lot! Tyler was the main male character and love interest of Leah! I loved Tyler a lot in this book! As soon as he was introduced he was seriously hot and there was something very intriguing about him! I loved the way that Tyler was with Leah too! He was very attentive and protective of her and was very sweet towards her too! He always made sure she got home okay and it was easy to see his feelings develop into love too! I loved that this book was written from both Leah and Tyler's point of views! I was hoping that it was going to be because I think all of this author's books that I've read have been written from dual point of view! The synopsis of this book also makes it sound like it was going to be written from dual point of view, so I'm really happy that it was! It helped me connect more with Leah and Tyler and understand them better too! It allowed for more things to happen in the plot as well, especially as Leah and Tyler didn't spend every minute of the plot together and were dealing with their own situations! I now can't wait to read the next book in this series! I can't find any information on the next book because there isn't anything on Goodreads and there wasn't anything at the end of this book, so I'm not sure who the main character is going to be! I can't wait to find out though and I hope that the next book releases soon! The cover for this book is also absolutely stunning! I love it a lot and it would definitely draw me to the book if I didn't already know the author's name! The cover image is also perfect for represent Leah and Tyler!

This one hit the spot. The initial meeting between Leah and Tyler was awesomely epic. Tyler snuck up on the Alpha side and never wavered in his pursuit of Leah. Wonderful build up of characters and great start to a new series. Can't wait to read more from ARR. #catchinghim #netgalley #boomisalive

Aurora Rose Reynolds can write anything even a grocery list and I’ll be there in a heartbeat to read it and more importantly she can write alphas like the ones I love! Her heroes are amazing and her heroines are sassy, quirky and awesome!
Tyler was perfect in very sense of the word and Leah was just equally amazing too. They were perfect for each other. I can not wait to read more from this author, after all she’s my favorite author ever.

Absolutely fabulous book...it has everything I need in a book. STRONG, super likeable characters, humour, romance, sexy times, a bit of mystery and strong family ties.
Leah is wanting love, but won't chase for it, Tyler isn't looking for love, but boy oh boy does he find it. These two are funny, strong, and open up about their feelings fairly early on. That doesn't mean the story is over, it is only just beginning...family dramas, a house break-in and a bit of alpha bossiness ensures this relationship has a few issues that are resolved in the end. Loved it so much

This is Aurora Rose Reynolds’ new How to Catch an Alpha series Book 1. Catching Him.
Leah and Tyler are an amazing uncomplicated couple.
The secondary characters her best friend, his best friend, the Detective and his sister I can see having their own stories and I'll read everyone of them. The other characters such as his family and her's, I loved as well. Usually Mrs. Reynolds give us a bit more angst and some grit to her stories. While I did miss it, and hope to see some in her next book, it was also refreshing and a lighthearted read. I still couldn't put it down and when I had too because of a pesky family and job I was not a happy camper
Definitely worth a read.

This was an sweet insta-love romance read. There's no other way to describe this story but sweet and funny with a touch of drama and a lot of steamy scenes. Leah and her cat Mouse, and Tyler and his dog Bruce will make you fall in love with them from beginning to end. I loved how Tyler stood up to his mom when it came to Leah. If you love Hallmark movies this book is for you. The story was sweet and the ending was even sweeter.

5 Stars!

Aurora Rose Reynolds has a brand new series out with Montlake and oh my goodness y'all, THAT is the way you open up a new series. An all-new contemporary romance standalone BOOM that'll steal your heart, give you all the feels, and leave you breathless in the very best possible ways... Catching Him is definitely making my top reads list this year plus who doesn't love THE perfect meet-cute.

Meet Leah and Tyler. She's just trying to get her escapee cat from the empty house next door until she realizes (A) it's not empty anymore and (B) she has an extremely hot, extremely annoying, extremely eager to spend time with her- new neighbor. He's totally attracted to her and wants to get to know her in every way possible. She's not so sure she is or should be interested in him, if only she can convince her traitorous heart and body of that. And as things start to heat up between Tyler and Leah (and they DO heat up *swoon*!), it's clear someone else isn't happy.

Sweet. Sexy. Fun. Swoony. Cute. Laugh out loud. Relatable. A touch of mystery and suspense to keep you on your toes. This book, this couple, this journey we're absolute perfection in the very best ways. I loved every moment and gah! they're have been so many good ones plus Tyler was.... delicious and so dang irresistible!

You get what you get from Aurora... an amazing cast of family and friends along with a couple that will come to mean a whole heck of a lot to you in every book she writes. ARR knows how to give the boom hard, fast, and perfect every time. She's unstoppable, unputdownable, and unforgettable in every single moment she writes.

I highly recommend this book.

Another hit from one of my favorite authors! Catching Him is book 1 in Aurora Rose Reynolds’ new How to Catch an Alpha series and I loved everything about it. Leah and Tyler’s story is adorably sweet with some amazing and scorching chemistry. Leah kept trying to tell herself and all those around her that they were just friends, but Tyler definitely did not feel the same. Tyler’s pursuit of Leah was stealthy and so much fun. Not only did I love Leah and Tyler but it was their adorable pets, Mouse and Bruce, that added so much to their story.

Aurora Rose Reynolds is one of those authors that I never even have to read a blurb and I will automatically love it. Catching Him is no different, it had great characters, awesome chemistry and a little bit of suspense to keep my interest. A wonderful 5-star read!

Thank you to Netgalley and Montlake Romance for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. All opinions are my own.

Not my first read and if you know even a little about me you know I am a DIE HARD FAN of this aurhor and all her books!

That said, this is a NEW series and I couldn’t wait to dive in. I mean after reading and re-reading her books ALL OF THEM, I was curious to what NEW will be brought to us. I have to be honest as I always am BUT it felt new but still her style so the main change I noticed is the art of the hero, meaning the aggressive way…I’ll explain more here in a sec. It still still very much a SWEET HEA…this is alone from the heroine’s POV [you do get a little of the Hero’s POV at the very end!]

So, Leah is a woman who is done chasing. She wasted years with a man who couldn’t decide if they need to be together, or not, or even if he is interested in her. So she has had enough. When her cute new little kitten decides to make a run for it…into the neighbors window…luckily for her…no one has lived there for 6 months or so…OR SO SHE THOUGHT!

Not only did she break & enter but she is also only wearing her panties and a flimsy tank…then she get’s greeted with a big sexy man who’s voice get’s her going alone…oh and did i mention there was a GUN pointed at her?! Yeah…little Mouse [yes that’s the kittens name] is a fast little thing. After the confrontation..things only get SPIRALING.

Tyler Duncan couldn’t believe his eyes, he must have been dreaming it up…how did a beautiful gorgeous little thing only wearing panties end up inside his new home? When they both finally get acquainted with one another…FRIENDS wise that is…things seem to go well…then you throw in a date, Tyler’s mother, family, danger and lot’s of drama. The heroine own a salon with her mom and grandma & the hero is a foreman at his best friend’s construction site.

So if you’ve read and are familiar with the author’s books…you will understand this a little more but the NEW part I guess is the DRAMA part, like there was drama but not the kind of previous books…more in the sweet sense and boy is TYLER SWOON WORTHY good gosh, uber swoon worthy! There is danger but i’d say moderate but all in all it was definitely something new from the author along with a little bit of usual. I enjoyed it very much and am looking forward to many more in this new series!!

A MUST READ!
